Just an FYI. - The $90 only gets you the base game. The Duo powers is an expansion of sorts and costs about a little extra. This game is awesome and I'm taking it to my guy's weekend to play a few sessions :)
I hear a lot of praise for this game but I just can't get over the bland graphic design of the cards. It's strange to me how you only have a single piece of artwork for all of the cards. It makes differentiating them so much more difficult.
The backs of the player cards are that way so that you can shuffle them and draw at random. The same goes for the boss deck. Otherwise you get information ahead of time of what is coming and no serious gamer wants that...
We put 20 to 30 hours into each artwork piece. I mean I could paint some junk in 30 mins and pump out a bunch of pieces but it's not what I'm aiming for and wouldn't make sense for the game. To be fair I will redesign the front sides of the cards to be easier to read. The campaign game I'm making has a lot more artwork with some lower quality pieces, but nothing I would consider bad. I value quality over quantity
Looks cool, I'll have to check it out!
So glad Cyber Wizard Games is getting the attention they deserve! This is such a great game to experience.
Dice Throne on Steroids is simply called Dice Throne Adventures.
My fabulous flamingo friend, truth
That are some serious sleeves😁🐦

You CAN play up to 6 people, but only on certain challenge decks. Most boss decks cap at 4
Glad you like the game!
Must be some real good steroids. I do not like Dice Thrones at all, but I am enjoying Catharsis a lot.
Hope this is at Gen Con. Would like to play a demo game. Probably gonna be on my Gen Con pickup list.
No 1x1 gameplay? That is mostly how i play dice throne with my wife
You will need to work with her instead of against her!
This is a cooperative game rather than player vs player.
the review has me sold I just pledged the avatar pledge it looks awesome I'm vested
Awesome!
Dice throne o.O Im interested
Doesn't look like dice throne to me.
This is a cooperative game where players unite to fight against a boss and his minions. Dice Throne = player vs player (vs player if more than 2)
Love the shirt!
