I got the game in the first Kickstarter and went with a medium back and have the two big boxes. I find his comment on it being a LOT to go through very accurate. Also, my primary gaming group considers it to not really fun to play unless you're playing Conan. So perhaps it's something that I'll end up solo playing? But I have so many big campaign boxes that I want to get through first... :(
Good to know! With how high the score is for Conan it seems that those who love it, love it! I’ll keep learning how to dig up information around pubs and get more accurate with any concerns people should have!
Kudos - your opinion gave me pause by mentioning 'lifestyle' - my plan of buying the Red Nails expansion and Kickstarter box(which apparently is required to play it) just so I can dump the trays and get rid of my house fire damaged retail box is probably not going to work. I honestly love this game, but to spend another $150/200, so I will not bring it out because of bloat instead of house fire memories, probably a mistake? Anyways, will torture myself and decide on last day of campaign. Thanks for the video!
Could anyone help explain how the "voting" works? I want to go all in having never bought any of this product line before, but do I understand correctly that the previous boxes (besides the Red Nails campaign) will only be produced if "enough people vote for it"?
Could you clarify why you would give a 10/10 for your "retail" category for a product that is not coming to retail at all? Wouldn't that be an automatic 0/10, instead?
So, this scale is all about the kickstarter specifically and the value the kickstarter gives to backers. If a game is going to be in retail without any changes or exclusivity- backers might as well buy it in retail once it comes out. This, won’t be, at all - so 10 out of 10 for how necessary it is to back this kickstarter if you want this game!
I have this game and love it! Excited for the new stuff. Also, the original rulebook was awful and was eventually redone and far far better. Luckily this comes with new version of rules
At the moment my family is not backing anything - we have some debt to pay off. If I had the cash to do so - I would consider the kings pledge for coverage and to experience the game! I don’t need another lifestyle game however - I got KDM
@@QuackCo I thought about backing the Red Nails, because it is "only" 65euro, but recently the prices are exploding with the 20% VAT and 25 Euros shipping. Additionally, most games are available retail, eventuell cheaper. All in all to expensive for me.
What games are you backing?
Honestly I got the Nails because Valeria.

Yep, it’s got to be the right game for you - then it’s epic - but if it’s not . . . You won’t play it.
This was a good video. Conan is my favorite game, but I do agree that it is quite time consuming to set it up and to put it back in the boxes.
Thanks so much! I’m really interested in playing it sometime :)
The biggest criticism I have of Monolith is the rulebooks. Otherwise, their products are top notch.

V1 or v2? (Conan)
Luckily this comes with the new rulebook not the awful first one
Do you have a lozenge in?
Haha, expander and braces . . . It’s horrible

yep, if enough preorder it then they can issue the print run :)

I already have the King Pledge from 2015 and I would say I do not need the red tail.
Did you back it?

@@paleblue8922And if I got it right, the VAT is applicable to the shipping fee as well.
So it's the (product + shipping) X 1.2.
Soooo cool my friend ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks!
The ones the 🐦 is backing 😜
XD so many!
