She is my favorite vocalist of all times. She has moved me to tears in certain renditions. I have followed her since the 90's. I have filled out my get well card to her and a check. I am so glad to hear something about her, that is what has happened and where she is at. Information was so limited. I posted on her post. Thank you Mr. Jones for this post. I too heard it through a post from this relief fund. Please keep us updated.

Since your outpouring of support a few months ago, I have been sleeping more, eating more, believing more and even writing more music for the first time in several years. Please know that I am healing.

I’m a 73yr old white guy here in the UK. I’ve had (what I call) a terminal disease of quality Soul music (ever since I was 15yr old). I found your Unique vocals/ability through your duet with Will Downing.. Bought your albums soon after.

This is the first I’m hearing of this. I knew she wasn’t well. I will be praying for her. I’ll never forget the time I saw her at the Blue note in NYC. She walked off the stage and I stood up to shake her hand and she shook mine. When I went to take my hand away she grabbed it tighter and wouldn’t let go. I died. I hope she gets well soon. ‘Til you come back to us Rachelle, love you…..

You express my sentiments exactly...Rachelle Ferrell is a tremendous artist whose gift surpasses most singers/musicians. I've had the blessing of seeing her perform several times in person, and she remains a favorite. I'm praying for her continued healing and look forward to seeing her return stronger than ever. NEW UPDATE: FROM RACHELLE "The abounding gratitude for all those who cared enough to even think of me and pray for me has been sustaining. Those of you who have shared your precious resources with Sweet Relief on my behalf have overwhelmed me. Though I have been in and out of pain recently and some days are rougher than others, by God’s grace and your generosity, I and still here.
I am working on a song dedicated to you, Sweet Relief, and all who have shown their love and care for me and others. The title of that song and the end of this note are the same.
Thank you…in every language I know. My birthday is today (May 21st) and I’m also overwhelmed because you all are the reason I get to see another one. I wasn’t sure not long ago.

She has to REPENT in order for Heavenly Father Yahweh in Yahoshua’s name with all the power of the Ruach Kodesh (Holy Spirit) to heal casting out, keeping away ALL demonic forces from her. The gift of her voice was given by Father Yahweh for His use ONLY to bring others to our Savior/Messiah. If she choose to redirect her life, our Heavenly Father shall take care of her according to His Holy Will…🔥. Our prayers go up for our sister with faith & love. Thanks & blessings also go up for you.

The latest I heard is in the update below.
I am disappointed and reluctant to send a donation. What the hell is she going through? We deserve to know what the situation is. How can someone of this caliber of talent not have insurance. I've paid to see her, any times. I do not get this . I just saw that she is not touring 11/2/23, however Mary Lou Retton was hospitalized with some medical issues, at least this was disclosed, but they expect people to just send money? no....not me.
Thanks for your comment, but nobody is expecting you to send anything that you don't want to send. That's your prerogative. But for those who hadn't seen Rachelle in a while, and care about her, this is for them. From what I have been told, she is making great progress in her healing and has watched this video. As for her financial needs, you'd be SURPRISED at how many artists with bigger names than hers are struggling. And keep in mind, Rachelle and most artists on the jazz scene, and R&B too, don't command performance fees like Beyonce and Taylor Swift where they make millions. By the time they pay their band, publicists, hair and make-up, and other behind-the-scenes people, there's not a lot left. Top that with what's happening with Spotify where they get pennies for their music, being an artist ain't what it used to be. They are not making the same from their music. Therefore, they have to tour. And if you can't tour, it's problematic. So, keep my dear sistah in your prayers. And for those who want to support her, may they do it out of compassion.
You nor the public have any right to know her personal medical struggles just like your medical records are confidential for a reason. If you live her and support her and have the ability the donate to support her cause. Many artist don't make money and you know that. I have a job and don't have insurance. And when I did it still want affordable let that sink in.
Well, why even reply? Just keep it moving. My mother used to say, no one knows what shape they’re going to be in before they leave this earth. Remember that!
