This woman is truly a marvel. I grew up listening to her and it was always so beautiful to listen to, but when I had the opportunity to see her live at Jazz in the Gardens 2014 and I was awestruck. There's no way that talent didn't come from above. God is real!

Never before I have witnessed anything like this woman operating in the Spirit spewing knowledge about individuality and being what you are made to be and do,, knowing who she is and what she is to do.

I had the opportunity to see Ms. Ferrell in concert and was privileged to have an extensive conversation with her afterwards. Watching this interview brought me back to that experience with her...totally in awe and hypnotized. She is The Voice, but more so, in my opinion, she is THE GIFT. This is one of the most powerful, spiritual interviews. Spirit, knowledge and philosophical conversation being transmitted on multiple levels: word, spirit, vibration and song. I think this should be and album and a college workshop. Also it would be great to add subtitles, so those lyrically challenged can hear all that she says/sings..evokes!

She's something else. I remember the first time I saw her on TV, she was with George Duke singing on Free Jazz Brazil. I ran and wrote her name down, cause I knew I had to listen to some more of it! Such an amazing talent, being so humble but aware of it, makes one able to use it in such a beautiful and Godly way, that heals people. Thank you for the post, she has changed me, my teenage days were better because of her! And great format on the show, congrats from Brazil!

I just couldn't watch this once. Rachelle Ferrell is a blessing to the music industry, and the world. Its amazing what music can do for the mind, body, and soul. Which is why they need to keep it in schools, and strengthen already existing arts and music programs. As a musician and music education major Rachelle inspires me, but even more so as a human being. What a beautiful spirit this woman has! She resonates love. She beams authenticity. Her gift reminds me that God sees, and He hears. I was brought to tears myself. gIftEdsOul09 Correct me if I am wrong, or someone is this forum. I think Bob Marley said "We will set the people free through music. " Can you imagine the power in that statement ?I heard someone else say that music is the only gift given to man that was already created pre-formation, and that this art transcended straight from Yah's heart and dwelling and shared with us. How powerful, as she said, with such a magnanimous display of love to us and through us, other forces will oppose it. Yet all of that opposition is in vain. Look how the Spirit moved her to do this interview. Four years later we can all still view it and be moved to weeping as we watch God's heart of love in those eyes with tears, and that voice filled with anointing.
Zephaniah 3:17 says "The Lord your God is with you, the mighty Warrior who saves....he will rejoice over you with singing.
Can you imagine hearing God's voice singing over us? Maybe Rachelle is one of the mediums by which he does, Ah-main.

I have watched this video several times and every time, I experience it like it's the first time I've watched it. My soul cries on so many levels, but I GET IT! Someone who is that gifted, that anointed, that open, that giving has to be replenished after that kind of outpouring. It transcended an "interview" the moment the first note come out of her mouth. The look @26:16 is whispering "I see you", and please let her know we see her too. Thank you for sharing this most intimate encounter.
God is a force that cannot be contained. For all the heartache and pain this child and vessel of God has gone through, for all the edifying of the body of Yahshua she has done, I am sure as she said;no let me rephrase I know she has faced unfathomable challenges, persecution and spiritual war. Inevitably however, it is not a fight of equal billing. Rather it is not even a fight, those forces deserve not even be mentioned on the same level. I know Yah has her, he is ever near her. That look you pointed out, I saw as the pain of perseverance and peering into another soul saying you persevere to. We will do it together. Sorry for this long dissertation regarding your comment. I just really appreciated it. That's what happens I get really wordy. In short though I will be praying always to the Most High for her, that she knows she is not alone, and that every tear she has ever cried trying to do his will, pour into us, and walk uprightly in her calling, without compromise, by his power and for his glory will never,ever be in vain. Me being age of 18 being inspired by not just voice, but the deph of her spirit is why I love her. She will be at the top no matter " who thinks they are the best singer" cuz it's not about that. It's about telling the story. I'm scared to get into the industry because I want to sing from my heart, not for merchandise. I'm a soul singer.
