- This is a quick review over the features and functions in the 2019 Honda Civic hatchback ex trim level. If you are considering purchasing one, or have already purchased one this is a nice refresher over what the vehicle has to offer.
I guess you can see what’s going on from that standpoint.
Just got mine yesterday, 50k miles for 20k, from Portland Oregon, ❤️ I’m so happy with it.
I love my 19 ex.

Hello Nice review~ Just bought a 2019 Civic EX HB yesterday. 2 issues I found that I have contacted the dealer about. 1st-The headlamps I noticed had some condensation on the inside lens on both driver and passengers.
Read more then a few google threads on this issue. Talked to Dealer today and they are ordering new headlamps and installing them free of course. I have read this is normal but I don't think so-Service manager says it could be bad seals or install from Honda plant. 2nd issue is my key fob for trunk release only flashes my turn signal.
My trunk doesn't pop open like I have seen other Honda's do. My sister in law has the exact model but 2017 and when she clicks her trunk release on the key fob, the trunk will pop open. Is this a new safety feature on the 2019? If so, seems a little stupid and pointless to have that button on the key Fob then... Thanks again!
EDIT-Actually-looking at the car in your video and Sticker-I actually bought the EXACT same car, except rims are a little different.
The hatchback doesn't pop open like the sedan.

Can you explain how the automatic brights work? I was fooling around with my car and noticed that when you have the brights on it automatically turns off when it sees a car coming and then comes back on when the car is gone. But now it’s not doing it and I’m not sure how to turn that feature back on
Imari Singh just drive over 20mph i believe and flash your high beams you’ll see a “auto sign” come up in between your headlight and fog light indicator on your dash lights

You can not have them switched out. Honda does sell wheels, but they are pretty expensive. I would go aftermarket to find something.

Its different the USA civic ex version to the Mexican version? I see that your model has the keyless feature. The Mexican version haven't
yeah I believe that. The Canadian versions are different also...
The front heated seats are not listed as an option for the EX on Honda's website, are they optional?
It is not some you can have added through Honda. There are after market groups that do though.
It is not listed but the EX trim does have them.

Just got my 2019 honda hatchback ex. Very happy with it. Only thing I noticed is that there is no trunk or gas door buttons inside vehicle. Are these buttons available in touring models. Also speakers/sounds raspy when tune on high volume....
Gas door and hatch are connected to the door locks. That is on all models.
No leather seats???? You get leather seats on a corolla in the SE trim
The EXL comes with leather from the manufacture. Or you can go with a Sport for a mix of leather and cloth. Or... You can usually add leather to any model through most dealerships.
What’s the main difference between the Sport Sedan and the EX hatchback? I didn’t notice much of a difference in features.
The hatch comes with a 1.5T engine, sedan is a 2.0L engine. About 25 more HP in the Hatch. MPG's are better on the Hatch. Price point of about $2,000 less on Sport. Sport sedan has paddle shifters. Sport has leather wrapped steering wheel. Sport has 1 inch larger wheels.
On the EX is the driver seat powered? Edmunds says yes but may be wrong.
It is not.
Would you recommend going with a EX over the Sport for a new driver?
Both are mechanically the same. So it just depends on which you like or can afford.
How many speakers in this trim

What if you are in standard cruise control and your going over 45 and suddenly traffic hits will the car break since it's not set to adaptive cruise control because I set it to standard cruise control?
Yes, if you have the Forward Collision Mitigation Braking still on. It is always running unless you turn it off.
when you remote start the car will the AC on
Depending on temp outside it will throw the heat or AC on.
Can you turn the touch screen I to night vision red instead of glaring blinding blue?
You can change the display color in the car to a few different color options in the display settings.
The lines above the speedometer go from blue to green sometimes turns blue while driving, why is that?
WarppedMummy mine are green to white when it’s green you’re in economy mode
Green means you're driving efficiently (cruising on the highway). White or blue means inefficiently (stepping on the pedal after a complete stop).

With ex model you got 90 percent of the features of the touring model but less price. The fully loaded model of any car is always overpriced.

Honda offers other rims for purchase. But you can not get them on the vehicle standard.

That is not offered as a option you can add. The EXL offers a powered seat though.

Press the unlock button three times. On the third push hold it.

I think you are talking about the screen brightness control. It allows you to dim or brighten the touch screen.
I have Civic 2018 - pretty messy electronics, not a fan; lag, no usability, small features, no apps etc
Apparently you didn't do your research before buying.
@@JulezWinnfield wasn't my 1st choice; instock was the main argument in top 3 list; also I had no way to know Android App won't work in my country; also had no Idea that phone wireless works for a limited (and unknown) list of models that use Honda implemented wireless charge feature so you can only buy phone and test - not very nice way to find out what phone you can use
