I just recently traded in my 2012 Civic EX Coupe for a 2020 Civic EX-L Hatchback and I absolutely love it. The 2012 Civic needed a lot of work and it was cost too much money to keep fixing this and that and it was nothing but a headache. I am very happy with my purchase and have no regrets.

Love this car for versatility. I have a sport and was able to fit 3x 24" suitcases and 1x carry on in the trunk with seats up and cargo shade removed. If you have narrower 24" cases you may be able to fit 4 across.
@@t.k.morris No issues with the 2.0. The 1.5 has gas getting into the oil which if enough, can cause the oil to lose its lubrication. Honda says its from the engine not heating up fast enough, especially in colder climates on short trips,so gas that normally evaporates get into the oil. This is partly due to the direct injection. I am in Canada but I converted to US mpg: 36 city and 48 hwy.
That is why I still like Corolla XSE comes with standard LED in front and back including backing up lights. Also not all people like turbo just like me. Naturally aspirated 6 speed is still better
Got my sport hatch in pearl white last Jan. 3 weeks later, a dodge truck rear ended me. Cost him $9K plus to repair which won't be done until end of this month.
Actually the sport (regular not touring) you get some synthetic leather on the seats. Basically the sides of the seats have the leather the rest is cloth.
They need to update the interior and the tech. Things they need to add to the new refresh: 1. Blind spot monitoring (No, that stupid camera is a gimmick) 2. Lumbar support 3. updated infotainment (Wireless Android Auto/ACarplay and make it bigger and less laggy) 4. offer more interior options so it doesn't look so gloomy 5. I hate the fact that Civic is so popular that they stopped caring about innovation. It's like, why should we provide these things when they are selling already.
Great video, but this refresh for the Civic Hatch is terrible. They still refuse to give us the updated Honda Link system and have not gotten rid of the outdated Lane Watch system. Plus it still has the oil diluting 1.5 turbo. Not acceptable Honda! I would buy the Corolla hatch instead.
@@stephenpowstinger733 if you look at GM and Toyotas new system and then look at this, you will see how outdated it is. Not to mention, some models use the oil diluting 1.5 turbo engine. The Corolla hatch is the better car.
