I am curious to see part 2. My exhaust hits the crankcase.

I'm amazed by how much work (and therefore $$$) people are willing to do/pay for an exhaust system. I always wonder why people think that the engineers that designed the system apparently do not know as much as some small 2-bit exhaust company. My $0.02 ...
Great video Kirk! tough filming angles for sure.

So you're just going to just ignore the enormous amount of restrictions that are put into factory exhausts to squeeze them through emissions? Deliberately..? So owners can easily remove the restrictions by just changing an exhaust. Almost as if they engineered them that way? Euro 5 on the Gen 2 absolutely chokes the bike up, after an exhaust and a tune to suit proper fuels, remove the torque limiting and open the exhaust and inlet valves and of course the euro 5 emission restrictions the bike is a completely different machine. Your comment is sharing misinformation due to your lack of knowledge.

    Kirk,
Do you know if the RR systems are the same as the XR?

I am not sure if the mount on the frame is the same. Best to contact Firetong on that one

Hello, I put the catalyst eliminator on it, they are the double stainless steel pipes and I left the same pipe and the original exhaust. And it turned out that I was left with an acceleration lag. I put the ESE Healt Technics chip to eliminate the witness and they already mapped him at the BMW Motorrad Agency here in Monterrey and they did not find the solution. Could you advise me or help me to know if it is possible that it remains without failure?
    Best regards

I am not really sure what is going on but you may have low to no back pressure in the exhaust which will cause the computer to go nuts

@@kirksmotorrad Thanks a lot Kirk. The problem for which I wrote to you and the motorcycle had a fault was because we effectively placed the oxygen sensors inverted when assembling it. Thanks !
Hi Kirk, On the other hand, a very cool sporty sound remained, by removing the catalyst and leaving the original pipes and exhaust. Only he throws a lot of explosions pops and bangs when he releases the gas in Dynamic mode more. It was a lot of fun, but it's gotten a bit annoying. Do you know if this can be corrected with any procedure?

I like everyone else am fighting the handle bar vibrations of a 2016. I have 52k on the bike, I purchased it new and I only ride it to work, 65 miles a day. Now four years into ownership the vibes are catching up to me. My palms are numb for most of the day after I get off of it. I have bark busters with their biggest weight on the bar end.
So what does this have to do with an exhaust video?
Well a guy in a FB group claims that after he replaced the stock head pipe with a full arrow that the vibes in the bars went away......
Any chance you have had the same luck with this system?
I'm asking because I do not want to get rid of my XR, but my hands simply can't take it anymore.

I did not have this bike in my shop long enough to notice if there was less vibes.. I hope it helps!

and it's not required to remove the valve control cable you can remove servo full or your plug a servo dummy unit.
I hate people unknown and do any videos about that

why pay $60 for servo delete plug when you can remove cables for free , if you remove servo without installing servo delete plug it will give dash warning code

People pay serious money for these exhaust system upgrades for very little performance enhancement if any. "It makes a better sound", so what! A loud bike on a long trip or tour is not great.
I know I've ridden with both, I prefer the stealth noise output over the "I,M HERE LOOK AT ME".

Cat converter operates in high temperatures. It's overheating whole engine so efficiency its much worst especially in warm temperatures. You also saving few kg, will get better gas flow and higher bottom torque. If you don't like sound buy an electric bike 😜👌

the XR is a long tour bike to install there endcane is ok but to changing the front main exhaust unit is not only to loud for for long dinstance you lost without the front and end valves a lot torque lower 5000rpm and XR is bike for road and offroad but never for track 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮 here showing idiot a exhaust without brain.
for left side the cover missing total 😂😂😂😂
