Clean, nice!
Just curious
Why clean the pipe if you're just going to cut it down anyway?
VERY NICE WORK
Wow
Allahumma sholli wa sallim wa baarikh ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa'ala ali Sayyidina Muhammadin fil awwalin wal aakhirin wa fil mala'il a'laa ilaa Yaumiddin
I’m sure I’ll never see an answer to this but can you put those two metals together without some kind of brass union between?
Can anyone tell what is the yellow paste he uses on that fitting? Lock threat, pipe dough, sorry for the ignorance. 🤔
Just from personal experience I always ream the lip created when using tubing cutters. In commercial new construction company I worked for had warranty work for pin holes in the copper. I repaired 10. All were at fittings where the pipe wasn’t reamed. Looked into in and heard the flow of water catches on the lip and start to eat through the copper and creating a point where it can continue through once it starts
How long before galvanic corrosion destroys that fitting?
I was looking for a comment on connecting two different metals without a dielectric union. It took a while.
@@ajschmidt1048 Someone at my local courthouse passed a copper water line through a galvanized flange on the wall at ceiling height. Within ten years it ate that pipe and they estimated it sprayed water for weeks on the old paper documents from over a hundred years ago before they noticed the leak (people rarely entered that part of the building apparently).
Am i the only one who found this to be therapeutic 🧐😁
👍 Wonderful video! Amazing old radiator cleaning. Thank you.
Love after you sand it to make it look clean when people take pride in there work what ever work you do makes a huge difference
Просто завораживает такая работа. Так тщательно, аккуратно!
Would the old pipe not seal, was the concern with it landing on an area with a groove?
very clean. I like a lot pf those techniques. use a propress instead and teflon tape for that threaded portion. Don't want to be responsible for any leaks now do we?
LOVE MY KNIPEX COLLECTION🌝
I know nothing about plumbing but I can tell a really nice, professional job when I see one.
😊🤗🖖✌️
Edit: I suppose everyone in the comments section who is a certified "know-it-all" is going to tell me I'm wrong for doing that, aswell ! 😂
Why don't you all stop arguing tell us who's qualified and who isn't ? That ought to fix it.
Corgi or not ?🤔
The last new radiator i fitted needed 25 wraps of PTFE tape, so shit. Also what do you think the paste is doing? Its like those people who ptfe the threads on compression fittings.
What was the point of adding a coupler?
Looks like the top of that coupling is gonna leak compare it to the bottom not enough soldered
Itne salo tak single rehene aur anime dekhne ke bad.pata nehi kyu mujhe to single rehna hi pasand ata hei😂😂😂😅😅😢😢😭😭😭
Sweat soldering is a lot harder irl than it looked in this vid. As a hvac tech if u try this at home with little or no experience and use a acetaline torch before sure to get like 10 extra pipes 😅
Could you explain what is it all about? plumbery ?
Why did he cut the pipe lower? Then solder on another piece to make it the same height again?.
