Using press on this shower to reduce blocking the internals of the valve with flux and solder.
Asmr plumbing sounds fitting and plumbing up a shower using a novo press gun

That bent copper looks amazing. Love seeing those sweeps instead of a soldered elbow.
Bent elbow does reduce the circumference of the pipe, reducing flow. Soldered elbow allows for a consistent circumference.
@@justtestingonce but a regular elbow has greater flow resistance due to the tighter corner. Fluid dynamics.
@@justtestingonceyou’re wrong
@@alexjohnson6710 lol, you haven’t got a clue, it’s pure stupidity to argue that the circumference is not reduced. There’s a reason why we don’t go crazy bending pipes and instead will use an elbow of varying degrees.
@justtestingonce long radius bends have less restriction of flow than a tight radius elbow. But yes, the bent pipe is flattened unless you fill it with sand or use a mandrel bender.
The Milwaukee pro press is the best invention ever made. Makes the job much faster 😀
We use one and the only thing i don't like about it compared to the rigid, is the clicking noise it makes once its fully completed the crimp, the Milwaukee does not make any noise.

As a retired inspector, I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to see a true craftsman do his job well. I used to get so sick of plumbers who used a hammer and screwdriver as a drill or sawzall; or when you’d walk into the rough in and the diverter would be two different lengths of copper, crooked as hell, and not centered over the turn even remotely. Ugh. Same with an electrical panel that looked like spaghetti.

The rubber inside carries a 25 yr guarantee,so you're 100% correct
Funny you should say that.. how does it mate onto a clean surface and not leak ? Copper is soft..
@@markkennard861 - annealed copper is soft. Those fittings are actually pretty stiff. There's a gasket inside the raised channel you see after the compression tool tightens it down. It's a considerably tight fit all around.
Water wins vs plastic and rubber every time, just a matter of when.
@@alexandercampbell6034so not long before you pay off the house you need a remodel, go figure 😂
Good to see the pipe ream. Lots of apprentice plumbers will neglect to do it properly, even at all.
This guy makes it look so easy. Well done sir
Bending the soft copper looks so nuch cleaner. Im a plumber in America, i know for a fact this is in another country, we use propress fittings out here, but the method is the same, also i dont think ive ever seen a shower valve set up with compression fittings built in. Good clean work, plumb on
It's not soft copper
It's R250 half hard
That’s type L
Type soft
electricians the only ones bending pipes in USA
He just called me shitty at my job in 12 different languages. Kudos to you brotha. Now I gotta buy a pro press
Haha 🤣🤣👍
Look out for variations is see this machine toll are quite big 😅 and for 100% license plumber in my country you will need a certificate for that and normally cost 1/2 the machine frost can also be a problem and of course you can break it to 😂 I have tried that and each toll head cost a lot to 12-15-18-22-28-35 and more up and different companies means you don’t sleep when you order press fittings and big tubes need electric machine good luck also for thieves 😮
Them mini benders will do you right!

No soldering! I have not seen these fittings before, very cool!
We’re not allowed to bend Type L copper over here in the states, unfortunately. Soft copper tubing only. I’m sure you could get away with it in a residential application.
European copper is almost always annealed. It's semi-soft and bends without crinkling.
That can’t be type L if it bends. Or am I crazy?
Silly people,
Type L copper comes in hard or soft. L is a thickness, it has no indication of hard or soft.
I prefer using the thicker Type K, that also comes in hard or soft.
I absolutely love work. I can watch people work for hours on end 😊
You must be a supervisor :D
there's something so beautiful about fresh copper pipes
Great weapon. Inflict a lot of hurt. It’s awesome to plumb with because the fewer fittings the fewer leaks. Even straight runs get leaks tho.
I do not do any plumbing, but I am going to get the bender :-))
Hahahaha treat yourself!
It's always fun and easy when you have the right tools.
So much appreciation for someone doing something with such efficiency and accuracy
Are those crimping joints strong enough? I thought solder would be better?
Siglo XXI amigo, hasta cañerías de inoxidable se indentan con pinzas hidráulicas...👍🏼🇦🇷
It’s surprising how well the pressed fittings work - strong and don’t leak if u use same diligence as soldering.
The one thing that no one want to talk about is the o-ring. We're all used to things that last, but in general, the things that don't last are plastics and rubber. You might find a barn kept classic car that hasn't been started in 40 years. Replace the oil, the fluids, and all the rubber parts and it will likely be as good as the day it was parked. Ever seen the old Barbies and other plastic toys still sealed in the box, but molten to a sticky goo by the plastic degrading? My point is this, a soldered joint will last until the pipes themselves fail, the pro-press junk is rated for 50 years. And that's if a good company is making the proper o-rings, and not some cheap knock-off. My opinion is, 30 years from now there will be a class action lawsuit against the pro-press system.
Solder all day long done right it cannot leak. No risk of fire tho.......especially with the totally combustible itchy shit lagging they still sell 😂😂😂
O-Rings have an expiration date, depending on the environment, they could actually make it, maybe...
Love the paste on one side of the fitting on the top of the olive 😂😂
Got to make those threads watertight!
It all spins about with the nut 🤙
Lubricant .brass threads bind easily.
If the threads bind it's because you bought a cheap shit fitting and/or the pipe ain't straight going into it. That joint regardless of how easy it was to do up and maybe undo one day will definitly at some point leak especially the hot one. Good luck with that repeat business side

You should do a tutorial video on how you know where to bend the pipes to get it to where you need it.

A long format video discussing the purpose of each fitting, as well as the reasoning behind why you chose each fitting would be good useful information.
I would appreciate a long form video about the purpose of your comment, go to school man lol.
Never use pro press behind a wall. Solder and clean off the extra Flux when done.
I’ve never used a pro press because I’m old. Are the fittings prone to leakage? I’m inclined to agree with you as pro press; if I’m not mistaken, relies on an o- ring for its seal. That and shark bites I’m guessing will have huge ramifications per leakage. Guys bury these all the time. I’m retired, so whatever. 🤣
@@johnbagewll2321 viega pro press was used in my house in the early 2000s and it's doing great to this day, not a single drop of water has leaked.
@@johnbagewll2321The elastomer seals never last as long as the manufacturers claim. This is the same reason why many industries will prefer Greyloc couplings over Victaulic-style ones. Metal-to-metal is the ultimate seal.
This. Pro press should only be used in accessible locations. It may be 15-20 years from now but those rubber seals will leak. When one leaks the others aren't far off. Will be stressful for the homeowner

Hi ! The copper tubing is already thin enough. When you bend the copper tubing you're taking 20% out of the wall thickness of the tubing at least !
Bent copper is far more reliable than a fitting will ever be.
Yet thousands of bends in soft copper exist all over the world without any issues...
@@timsyoutube6051I call BS on this claim .
@@niniv2706 how would you know? Clearly you're an American talking the way you do and you guys don't bend copper so you wouldn't have a clue about it.
It's common sense really. How can a solid copper pipe wall be more likely to fail than a fitting with solder holding it together?
@@timsyoutube6051 - You got me wrong here ...I amended my original comment after taking in the various ways of bending with diff thickness of copper and malleability ... I agree with you . I live in the USA, I bought a pro-press and I normally use hard copper. Could I also use soft copper? I love how plumbers in Europe use soft copper and bend the copper instead of using fittings, looks good 👍
You are not suppose to use progress on soft copper
You are allowed to use it on a soft copper pipe.
Btw in Europe, they mostly use multi-layer pipes these days.
Copper is way too expensive.
@Mvp76 here in Hawaii it's not allowed
I love the tool you use 🥰
Great skill combined with a will to do a great job
No point of that paste like that needs to be on the fitting side of the olive including the pipe or what is going to seal
Some people claim that it helps to lubricate the threads, but I am not a big fan of it.
Ah so at some point when it definitly leaks it's easy to undo so you can paste it properly. Makes sense
