@@mmplumber it’s likely that you push the liquid ptfe into the system applying it on the female thread, same logic as putting flux on the copper rather than into the fitting
You can get chrome sleeves to put over the copper if you want. I don't like the plastic ones as they discolour over time. Painting is the worst option imo.
@@mmplumber In the old days I used hennep with paste or good Teflon tape. Now I use Loctite 55. I do use the Knipex wrench pliers. I like the 8603180 for in small spaces.
I learn a lot from your videos. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos they really helped me 👍
Your videos are the best
Glad you liked mate got some good ones coming
Tidy work as always. Although I don’t like you using the liquid ptfe on the female thread of the towel rail
How come?

Smooth 🫡

Well done
Thanks bro 👊
@@mmplumberYip, looks the DOGZ BXXXXXXS M8 👍
Lo que me sorprendió fue la arandela o el cubierto que puso a lo último 😮😅
What was the first tool you had to install the male adapter?
Spanner or liquid
Is liquid a tool now?
Question is..did you screw the towel rail legs down..or fake it 😂👍🏻
imagine some chrome pipe cover to finish it off
Do you really need that much of the thread seal? Better than the blue stuff?
I’ve personally never had a problem, doesn’t drip or stain as much
Nice work but i'm set in my ways with using PTFE tape for the threads.
Good job! I swear tilers and boarders move pipes on purpose.
What is a boarder?
@@alemgas Dry Liners.
Have a bad habit calling them boarders.
@@rich.87we call them labourers in the UK, not a skilled job
I bet they do mate! Hammer normally comes out to play
Why not teflon tape?
Please see past 500 videos
Some times it’s better to have a better looking joint
Good but this should be bread and butter to any plumber 🧑🔧😅😊
It is that’s why people can learn from
Got the same heater with same problem, how to deal with the apperance of that copper tube...
Maybe paint it...

Fit a chrome cover to it
@@tomsanders8714 okay thanks for the tip. Didn't know about them, only the floor covers
That sealer looks like cpvc glue
There is no way im trusting some paste to seal a rad tail 😫
I've tried it it's toss
Works well if new threads

Shyt you may as well sanded the rest of that old copper pipe 😂
For got as I was going to use a cover shroud
What grips you using there bud?
Knipex plier wrenches
Bad advice again. Never put any kind of pipe dope on the female fitting. Put it on the male fitting only.
What female fitting? This was the olive
Clean
Thanks bro
Spanner at the end?
Knipex plier wrench?
@@mmplumber the one you uses to tighten up the rad tail?

Are those stainless steel pipes?
Stainless and chrome plated brass.
Brass valve body prevents galvanic corrosion between copper pipe and steel radiator.
