I own an Elevate ZX CVT. Not even once did I feel that I should have bought a Creta or a Seltos. The car is a head turner every time I enter anywhere in it, looks amazing, drives smooth. No complaints.
@ If you don’t rev up and drive easy 15-17KMPL, if you’re hard on the accelerator 11-13KMPL. Maintenance wise I’ve spent on the second service only which was 2k approx. rest showroom people can tell you better, I’m yet to get the third one done. I’d still prefer elevate because of a. The drive is crazy good, is spacious and looks sleek b. Somewhere i feel hybrid delivers less torque and hence not fun to drive.
I own this model & i'm very very happy with it. It puts up a smile whenever i hit the gas paddle,it hits 130 KM/hr in no time. It easily beats Seltos & Creta in acceleration & road presence. It's a head turner in traffic & during night due to ambient lighting feature & left lane camera. Steering control is very sharp if you have right air in front tyres & suspension is unmatchable. Please don't put up blinders if you don't own this vehicle.. it doesn't deserve fake reviews.

I bought Honda Elevate CVT (Automatic) a month back. The riding comfort is ultimate in the city. Haven't tried much on Highway yet, but on NH8 it went like a breeze. Very comfortable family car. Boot space larger than Suzuki Grand Vitara n Hyundai Creta. Wish they had given 360 view cameras. It's got left view camera and reverse view. The black interiors in the car suck and wish they had given grey or some other color so dust is not so easily visible. Also, did not find manual driving option as some automatic cars have manual option also in case driving on low gears is needed on mountains, etc.
I bought Honda Elevate VMT Apex Edition this 30th December. Few days later it's battery was dead. No doubt the car is no nonsense reliable family car❤❤❤
The biggest challenge to putting the Hybrid motor in the Elevate is probably the existing platform. They jacked up the ground clearance to 220mm leading to just about enough space for a 40 litre fuel tank. ( if you take up the body further up from chassis it plays with the dynamics and stability.) so they will have to do clever engineering to out in a hybrid motor. If they can get one in, that would be a game changer. Fantastic car tho.
Its an absolute delight while driving. There is extra boot space this car provides than any other car in this segment. So once they provide hybrid..still they will provide enough boot space..it will be an awesome car

High time Honda increase their portfolio and provide more features in their topend like ventilated seats, Cport charger and paranoromic sunroof. I know their products are reliable and has better build quality but features also affects buying decisions.

I have a doubt. If they are giving an option of ambient light in lower trim (which is not a default option in top model), can a person who gets the top model get it as an option. It would be a little weird if top model doesn’t get ambient light but other trims does.

Honda is here to stay. Yes they are not as aggressive in their approach as the top players, but they are making profits - thanks to their exports. All they need is a couple of new products in newer segments.
Their products are good, their marketing is poor. They are happy to serve the existing base whom they know most likely will buy another Honda given the experience and plus some from word of mouth. No aggressive marketing, brand ambassadors, heavy discounting etc
While ADAS is built for additional safety, Honda has totally missed the sensitivity of Indian traffic. The CMBS (Collision Mitigation Braking System) actually ends up hurting people as much as saving. Traffic in India is so dense that the car keeps on auto braking abruptly at every detection, which ends up hurting people sitting inside the car. Due to sudden braking, I have personally seen people getting whiplash injuries from their seatbelt, senior citizens getting injured and kids could also get hurt. If you have hot food in your hand, even that can spill on you and you can get injured. Also, with continuous traffic and recurring sudden braking, the car is at a high risk of getting hit by the traffic behind; again; hurting the passengers. Even if they have given the option to turn off the CMBS, it turns itself on every time you restart the car. It is not reasonable to expect to remember to turn it off every time you start the car. It is not reasonable to also expect the hired drivers to turn the system off every time they start the car. Honda must give the option to keep the CMBS turned off at all times unless the driver wants to turn it on. The current design of auto turn-off has already put my family and other occupants of my car at high risk, and it will do so with others as well. This issue must be raised to the authorities as well. Commonsense and safety go hand in hand. Please consider carefully before buying this car with this feature. This is my personal opinion

One thing is for certain is that Honda would be dumb if they choose not to release elevate hybrid with ventilated seats and 360 camera.
No Cruise control is a big miss in VX and similarly missed Panoramic sunroof and 360 camera in ZX. Honda is very laidback, Tum daalo bhai ye cheeze logo ne leni hai ya nahi vo decide karenge. Overall - Poor NVH levels is the biggest miss in this Car.

If you want driving pleasure and compact car them go for VW . If you dont like aggressive Driving and relaible product then go for Elevate . Boot space and NVH depend upon your uses and area . If you really want to keep for 10 year then go with Honda . VW service and parts are very costly .
Reliable for 10 years? Honda... VW is not bad but Honda interior will last longer better and NA engine over 1.0 turbo which is yet to prove it's long term reliability. 7:20 - he proved the point. It's manual is a beast.
Elevate is much better than taigun 1.0. Better compliance at city crawling speeds, better AC, supposedly better reliability over 10 years, better road presence. Cant think of any advantage in 1.0. However, if you can stretch for 1.5DSG , then its a different matter. No car in this segment or even next segment can beat taigun 1.5 DSG in driving fun.

I always believe that Honda is killing itself with great products but bad decisions. Why are they so late in the SUV game? why doesn't they have the hybrid engines in elevate?why they do not have a sub compact suv in india while they have in the international markets? The CMBS (Collision Mitigation Braking System) actually ends up hurting people as much as saving. Traffic in India is so dense that the car keeps on auto braking abruptly at every detection, which ends up hurting people sitting inside the car. Due to sudden braking, I have personally seen people getting whiplash injuries from their seatbelt, senior citizens getting injured and kids could also get hurt. If you have hot food in your hand, even that can spill on you and you can get injured. Also, with continuous traffic and recurring sudden braking, the car is at a high risk of getting hit by the traffic behind; again; hurting the passengers. Even if they have given the option to turn off the CMBS, it turns itself on every time you restart the car. It is not reasonable to expect to remember to turn it off every time you start the car. It is not reasonable to also expect the hired drivers to turn the system off every time they start the car. Honda must give the option to keep the CMBS turned off at all times unless the driver wants to turn it on. The current design of auto turn-off has already put my family and other occupants of my car at high risk, and it will do so with others as well. This issue must be raised to the authorities as well. Commonsense and safety go hand in hand. Please consider carefully before buying this car with this feature. This is my personal opinion

No Cruise control is a big miss in VX and similarly missed Panoramic sunroof and 360 camera in ZX. Honda is very laidback, Tum daalo bhai ye cheeze logo ne leni hai ya nahi vo decide karenge.
Overall - Poor NVH levels is the biggest miss in this Car.

If you want driving pleasure and compact car them go for VW . If you dont like aggressive Driving and relaible product then go for Elevate . Boot space and NVH depend upon your uses and area . If you really want to keep for 10 year then go with Honda . VW service and parts are very costly .
Reliable for 10 years? Honda... VW is not bad but Honda interior will last longer better and NA engine over 1.0 turbo which is yet to prove it's long term reliability. 7:20 - he proved the point. It's manual is a beast.
Elevate is much better than taigun 1.0. Better compliance at city crawling speeds, better AC, supposedly better reliability over 10 years, better road presence. Cant think of any advantage in 1.0. However, if you can stretch for 1.5DSG , then its a different matter. No car in this segment or even next segment can beat taigun 1.5 DSG in driving fun.
