Damn I was considering this for my car recently. Shop told me it was gonna cost me around $800 altogether with install, this video could have saved me lol
It can if i go to the settings every time I want to use it. I can't get it to work via the turn signal tho, idk what else to try. It's currently not even hooked up
I put this in my car but it won't allow me to install any apps from play store. Have had it about 2 weeks oh yeah and how did you get it to display honda emblem when starting up?
Died in 2023. The screen went completely black. Music audio from my USB flash drive still played! No trouble shooting helped with the black screen. Could've very well been a blown fuse, which is beyond my skill level to replace. I had the original radio put back in.
@@ULUVSEAN Damn, that's disheartening to hear, considering I just bought a unit lol! But either way, thanks for the honest review and feedback, much appreciated :)
@@LosAngelesLocal-nw1yx hello.I got the newest G12 unit actually. I installed it some time in February and it's been great so far. I use Android Auto wirelessly and it connects almost instantaneously when I turn on my car. I had to do some tweaking with the settings to my liking and I had to harass the Dasaita team to get our Control settings working like they advertised would work out of the box lol, so most of the original settings are retained, so make sure to stop by the Dasaita forum for firmware and canbus updates. I personally have no complaints. Though, if you have an accord model that's above a LX/Sport, ask Dasaita to include a radio antenna if you really need the FM radio to work, as EX and above models don't have the direct connection in the dashboard (the stock radio with a touchscreen). I had to buy my own and the radio works as intended now. Not a dealbreaker in the slightest since I exclusively use Spotify but I wanted a complete headunit. I hope this helps, even just a little bit.
My question is what happens if your tire sensor 'TPMS' warning goes on alerting you? can you go to vehicle setting then select 'TPMS' then select 'Calibrate Tire'? Or even trying to reset like for example when you change oil? that needs to be reset? please let us viewers know. here is a sample video, can your new Head Unit Dashboard do this simple car maintenance? th-cam.com/video/bcKjFrprERA/w-d-xo.html
All of that can be done without the headunit. Theres a button on the bottom left side of the dashboard, that can be used to reset TPMS. And I' not sure about oil changes, but the dealership is able to complete the job as normal. Currently my dasaita unit ONLY shows a black screen. I got an oil change at the dealership with no problem.
Sometimes it will freeze if you have battery savings setting active on your phone.

$800 is crazy! I would never.
How did you change the screen to clock on the factory screen
Have you find something better yet?
does your lane watch camera work? right turn signal camera

@@ULUVSEAN they ever send you the right wire for the lane watch? I'm considering this or one of the ones you can get off ebay for $250
did you have any audio problems? ever since i put this in my audio cuts in and out
I experienced that at first until I got a higher capacity car battery.

I never did anything specific it always showed from the jump
How are you liking it in 2024 or did you move on to another head unit? Any of these issues still going on?

@@naruhina908does the backup camera and lane watch work ok with this unit? And did you have to calibrate it for the bigger screen?
Are you still having these issues a few months later? Also is this the Vivid 10 or 11 launcher?
10. Issue I'm having now is black screen when starting my car. Takes time for me to see the screen again and be functional
The factory version does the same thing 😂

Oil change reset is done with the little knob next to your gas gauge.
