    Excellent way of showing what a compressor can do. I recently got this one as my first compressor and I was surprised at how much it did for my tone. I’m sending it back but only because I got the Keely one at good price.

    This pedal runs at 300mAh. This pedal has the highest power requirement on my board and you MUST run it at this power. If you have a 1 Amp daisy chain with 5 plugs you will be fine. this would use up 300 of the 1000 mAh amps leaving you 700. Digital pedals use more power by nature. Most of your pedals from Boss and MXR DO NOT go over 20 mAh power draw. The MXR Carbon Copy is 26 and the Rowin Noise Gate is 26 also. These are the highest power sucking pedals I use. Just be aware of that. Compressors use a lot of power and you want to make sure that it is there for it. Good to familiarize yourself with this.

      Will i be fine using 1A adapter with daisy chain for the kokko compressor, rowin noise gate and a Vox wah V847A?

    • @attentionaddicts

      Thanks for pointing that out, 300mA is alot.
      Optical compressors appear to use alot less power. For example, the Hotone Komp, which is based on the Diamond optical compressor, uses only 19ma.

    Does it have some springiness in the feel, like a Dynacomp? I had a Cmatmods Signacomp but it felt so stiff compared to my Dyna, I flipped it.

    Hey people, between this kokko compressor and Behringer compressor sustainer, which one do think is best?

    • @callsignstatic6872
      @callsignstatic6872 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have been using this one for over a year. I have it on under my pedal board at all times. I set it Sustain 11o'clock - Level 10o'clock and attack 2o'clock and never touch it. I don't even think about it really. I recently am buying old DOD FX-80B from the 90's era. You can get them cheap and they are AWESOME ! This pedal is great for the price though. I also used it on my bass guitar board for quite some time. I recommend this pedal but I do not have Berhinger experience that you asked about. Thought this may help though.

    Pra que pedal de compreensão se vc vai tocar dedilhado suave com os dedos?

    • @Felipe_Silvva
      @Felipe_Silvva 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Pra que??? Poxa amigo, compressor não é só pra usar com palheta... muda o som principalmente de uma Strato deixando mais evidentes algumas frequências. Coisa que que com o dedo vc não faz.

    • @felipegoncalves1639
      @felipegoncalves1639 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      O compressor nivela o som das notas. Num dedilhado, você pode ser mais força num dedo do que em outro, porém, o som sai nivelado com o compressor

      Can i run the pedal at 12 or 18 volts? Isn't that bad for it?

    Hello Ryan. I have a problem with this exact compressor. If I move sustain above past 2 o'clock it gets really rumbly even if there is nothing in the input. Does this one do it to? Putting a drive pedal after it turns it into something awful to listen to.

      How do you power your pedal/s?

    • @XxStonedImmaculatexX
      @XxStonedImmaculatexX 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Compressors are best for single coil pickups.
      A humbucker already has a compressed sound to it so if you add a compressor and with overdrive, it’ll sound awful.
      I only use my compressor with single coil pickups and with regular or high overdrive.
