They don't harm people, but neither does mee6 or discord in general. Its an inconvenience to everybody.
@@Parritz yeah but the issue is it’s against the tos for them to be doing this and regardless if it’s a single notification or not it’s still annoying and you still have to go through the effort of marking it as read, it may take only a second but you still have to do it because of a bot that isn’t following tos and literally sending you adverts in your direct messages

This is horrific. I have seen others bots do this and get unverified + banned by Discord in a heartbeat. They must have some significant link to Discord staff to have this kind of favouritism.

TH-cam for macOS sometimes just doesn't load the videos tho, and it is because downloaded video data overlaps with its own code and corrupts video loading and you have to reinstall it. other platforms utilize immutable sources (aren't coded in basically flash) or use video players (macOS TH-cam has its own code for rendering videos and it is SO BAD!)

The problem is... MEE6 is too big now. MEE6 is by far the biggest discord bot, and a ton of people depend on MEE6. If discord suddenly bans MEE6, then you will have a lot of angry people, and I fear discord will ignore the issue so they don't have to deal with any drama that comes with it. And that's just going to make MEE6 worse...
This is especially annoying me, because while Discord blatantly ignores MEE6's breaking of ToS/other guidelines (music playing, gambling on App Directory, email/DM advertising, etc.), small bots (like mine) are instantly punished if Discord sees fit, sometimes even without good reason. (And support seldom listens to appeals.)
I used Mee6 until they started getting into NFT's. I migrated most functions to a self-hosted bot, and switched to using YAGPD for self-assigning roles. While I personally don't have any issues with YAGPD as of right now, I might eventually look for an open-source solution for roles, as well.
Personally I think the CarlBot stuff isn't comparable to MEE6, you have to actually run a command willingly to do so. Most people (including me) have never heard of the issue command
Yeah, what Carl bot is doing is maybe a bit iffy, but it's a user volunteering to play Roblox through that, it's not breaking Discord tos afaik. The fact that the video creator compared them directly feels like a disservice to the cause of getting Mee6 shut down (which I do agree with), because you're comparing something directly against Discord's TOS to something that's not against any tos, just a bit iffy.
Tried MEE6 once a few years ago. It's a sentient, malevolent gargoyle of a bot. It is the Furby of discord bots. Friend was dead set on getting MEE6 for moderation purposes (someone did a bit of trolling in the server, we needed some decent firepower). Bloody thing kept saying "GG leveled up to lvl2" at inappropriate moments during conversations. Screw that, yeeted it out the server within a day. Told my friend we would use Dyno, no problems since. Dyno doesn't bother us, we ask very little of Dyno. Only ever needed 4 commands from Dyno: purge messages, mute, ban, and cat. Cat gets used a lot.
In my opinion the advertisement from Carl bot is fine because it don't send you dms randomly and post the advertisement randomly in chat, it only shows it when you run a specific command.
The stuff Carlbot is doing isn’t even comparable to MEE6. As they don’t advertise this part of their bot hardly at all. The whole Roblox Cloud play just may be only accessible going through discord but it’s offsite application, it’s pretty vaild to have couple advertisements because you see it with all other game sites like Roblox and other webgames.

Considering how much bad history a lot of the overrated and well known bots, I think you should do a video of where you share some smaller bots that you think are as good as others. This can help pushing those bots to more server and therefor keep more people safe from the bigger badder bots.
Frequent user of Carl-bot here (and occasionally present in its support server as well as YAGPDB's) - I just want to clarify why the Roblox command exists. A couple of months ago, one of the current Carl-bot developers created a poll in the support server asking what new commands people wanted to see on the bot. There were a few options; music, levels, games, economy, and "other". The games option was referring to stuff for popular games like Minecraft and, well, Roblox, which makes sense, because Carl-bot does have some commands related to video games (most specifically Fortnite & World of Warcraft). Anyway, what had happened was that music & levels were actually the most voted options, but neither of them could be implemented - although the code for music had been created, it was at this point when Discord started revoking verification from music bots that allowed people to play TH-cam videos. Meanwhile, there was already an existing system for levelling on Carl-bot, but it was a premium feature & it would've required a major rewrite. As a result, they went for the most picked result that wasn't either of them, and that was games. They made a poll asking what games people liked playing, and most people said Roblox. That's why they implemented the feature - note that it isn't something that's FORCED on you like MEE6 DMs, but rather a command of its own that you can choose to use or not. As for what the Reddit post was saying about Carl-bot's support? It depends. It's definitely not terrible, but it can be strict at times. While it does make sense for that to happen considering both the bot's size and the server's size, I do still think they could loosen up a little bit; but again, it's not bad support, simply overly strict sometimes. Just reply to this if you've got any questions.
something that's not fully related is 'No Text To Speech' claimed Roblox is a brain rot game, even though 90% of its content is user generated, and often times high quality, one game on Roblox called Frontlines has really good graphics, a good comparison would be Call Of Duty Mobile.

honestly cant stand using public bots. the only ones i use are ones i cant build myself. created a ticket in the mee6 server and talked to them about it, and they dont really care as far as i can tell

I just gave up on all the "free" bots a while back, most have started to put features behind pay walls so in the end i just created my own bot, so i can have one good bot that works, instead of 25 that i use one function from each, or pay way to much money for.
I hope the Sapphire bot is in good hands and doesn't have any bad ties like this. I wanted a multi-purpose bot other than MEE6 and was looking for alternatives. I stumbled across Sapphire and it seems really neat so far!

This is exactly why i been phasing out mee6 from my own server recently. Making most useful features payed, slower compared to other bots, sometimes not giving out join ranks and now advertising to user. Might need a few more bots to do all that mee6 does but in the end it will be worth it.

As to why there is not more good bots i guess it's partially because people like to be payed or appreciated for their work. Neither of which most discord folk will or can give.

Hey, ex-support from BotGhost! My experience with BotGhost was good, contrary to what is being said here. I think there is a lot of misinformation here, and all the people who dislike BotGhost are being targeted as a sort of "revenge." Taking things out of context is also an issue, as is blindly trusting one person to give you negative information or views. I do think that providing an unban to remove negative posts seems like bribery; however, the false and negative impact, as well as harassment against the company, is what I've been seeing. I am unsure who did provide you with information, but I do have a guess, which I will not disclose. Most likely, however, they were immature and broke rules to the point of being removed from the support team. They were both removed for the same reason.He also broke the TOS, even after being notified to stop. He was eventually kicked off the server and tried to spread slander everywhere, including Twitter. I do not fully support BotGhost; however, there are some things I believe could be handled better, such as not providing an unban to remove them and simply ignoring it altogether. You could also look at it as them providing a solution to their issue. If they needed support so desperately, BotGhost would unban them on the condition that they stop trying to tarnish their reputation based on false accusations. I do know that all negative reviews are never removed, and I think this was just a bad experience. They had a review channel in their Discord server before and never deleted the bad reviews; in fact, I saw many of the management and higher server staff create threads and try to assist the users and accommodate them. I think the idea of "not trusting any good reviews because they bribe or remove any negative reviews" is a bit farfetched, especially because NTTS did not look at both sides of the story. I know the Fabian did not wish to comment on it, so I understand your assumption, but I also think that he didn't want to create controversy, as trying to "defend yourself" usually leads to more conflict. This is my take upon this situation with my experience with BotGhost. I know this comment may sound a little biased, but I promise it isn't, I've had my fair share of struggles with them as well, but I don't think it's worthy of posting and harassing them in their Discord server, then Twitter. Very valid and good take on the situation. I definitely think this is a combination of a bad experience, bad viewer attitude, and bad operating procedures from botghost. There were a ton of ways to resolve this and somehow the idea of "remove tweets = unban" was the option that was picked. From what I've heard from both sides, this definitely seems like a big case of a rare single fuckup being caught versus the more common operating procedures for handling troublesome members. I understand the statement of "removing bad reviews loses trust in good reviews" may seem a bit farfetched but I think it is something that everyone should consider if actions like this do occur. If a mistake like this happens again (which according to another comment might have already happened) then this sentiment should be thought about more seriously.
I was about to invite the bot for my server to encourage people and make them happy levels, making it also a required option to complete a application for mods and stuff you know, but now you pretty much changed my mind about the bot.
xp systems for talking are dumb, it motivates people to spam talking about worthless garbage which drowns out the people who are there to actually discuss something rather than put messages out just for the xp
one time i remember sending a message to Mee6 saying "dude f**k off i don't want more messages" and blocked the bot not even a minute after i got a message from a random account with the description as "mee6 is #1" with the caption "I know where you live " legit insanity

I hate mee6 too and generally block bots that DM me (why is this not a setting?), but the terms are somewhat vague, and their arguments can be understood as compliant with the terms. If they are as close with Discord as you suspect, they talked with them about it beforehand.

I think MEE6 authorization requires WAY too many permissions to be granted to the bot if you want it in your server, it asks for permission to access your email, see what messages you send on discord, administer your server, see what servers you're in etc. That's way too many permissions to be granted and can also be risky.
I actually like yagpdb, they don't advertise or ask for any money and have very few paid features. They're part of botlabs but other than that they are perfectly fine. If there's something I don't know of, well I don't know of it and it hasn't affected me or my server members.
Okay, I didn’t think this bot had so many problems to begin with, Goddamn. I’m not someone who manages the bots in servers so, I don’t have many experiences regarding bots that I know should be addressed. A major problem that I encountered with MEE6 was purely a social flaw. I’ve vented on Discord quite a lot and have involved myself in other people’s heart to heart conversations. It’s when someone is talking about being depressed or hopeless and then suddenly this bot’s like “GG @Someone, you just advanced to level 5!” And depending on the person/people present and severity of the situation, they would either laugh it off or be like “Wow, thanks a LOT, MEE6 bot for fixing the situation” and it’s happened a lot.
Mildly annoying/entertaining sure, but I would say a level up message at a serious convo is a non-issue. Problem with mee6 imo is, the frequency of level up messages gets annoying
I gotta say, I love YAGPDB, one of the best bots in my opinion, I don't ever see any advertisements around it. Didn't know it was in the botlabs thing though, very interesting. I mostly use it for the custom commands it has, and welcome messages. Other than that I have most its features disabled. Most other popular bots though are annoying. I dislike Carl-bot, I hate Mee6, I dislike using Dyno for most its features. I use YAGPDB for the custom commands and Auttaja for logging, that's about it, and I use my own bots to send embeds like rules, to look better.
A roleplay server I’m in uses mee6 because it’s got years of exp/levels in it and it can’t be transferred, otherwise we’d use something else. It’s basically just tolerance because otherwise people up to level 50 (which took multiple years, like I’ve been there almost 2 and I’m not even level 35 iirc, and I’m pretty dang active) would lose all of that. Why do bots make people pay to set levels/exp T^T
I pretty much only use Carl for reaction roles that don't dm you upon use, and moderation logs, because as far as banning and such goes, I just use the built-in functions, I don't get the point of why bots have ban commands when the button is right there in the Discord UI Maybe I'll switch to Dyno idk
Every time a friend has asked me if they should buy a bot for their server over some feature that should be integral, I just tell them to look for another free bot because invariably some other bot offers that feature for free.
I have Mee6 blocked, mainly because of the fact it pings you when you rank up. And also Mee6 is just straight up the most obnoxious bot. Also the NFT nonsense.

VCs to keep the Server clean) WidgetBot (to show all the Gaming News Related Stuff on my Webpage) Xenon (to create BackUps) Zapier (posts RSS Feed of a Gaming related Newspaper) It is easy to say that I use most of my Bots to get Information for PoI, thats why I have a whole Catagory for: - Gaming News (Text & Video) - Free Games - Release Calender - Gaming Events (such as gamescom, Game Awards and so on) - Shift Codes for the Borderlands Folks like me - JellyFin releases related to my JellyFin Server to inform my friends whenever a new Movie, Series or Episode is released on my JellyFin Server
discord absolutely has gone out of line, They even disabled my old account without sending me an email containing a reason, after emailing them asking what the reason was, they had only responded with "your account was disabled for violating our terms of service" like no shit

I never thought other people had issues with carl bots staff because nobody really said anything but holy shit i do not like them. I didn't break any rules at all, i asked a question in the chat i was supposed to and they basically called me stupid then perma muted me for being annoying when i asked why are they insulting me.
Discord is an amazing platform, largely because it's among the only FREE ad-free environments on the internet. There's no banner ads, content and use isn't interrupted to talk about a sponsor, and they've managed to do an excellent job letting features sell nitro (though I'm sure nitro still doesn't produce enough revenue to support operating costs). It rubs me the wrong way when a bot on the platform sneaks around that environment to shoot ads at you. That being said, I get it and I can't be very upset with mee6 or carl for pushing a minimal amount of ads at us. Small bots don't take a lot of money or infrastructure to run, a few thousand api calls per day isn't a big deal, but a bot hosted on MILLIONS of servers and approaching many hundreds of millions or perhaps even billions of API calls each day (not all api calls are triggered by commands), that costs quite a bit of money to run. It also took the devs many hundreds or thousands of hours to set up and many more hours to maintain and update with new features. Paid subscriptions probably cover a solid portion of the operating costs, perhaps even exceeding them, but these projects and bots are still designed to generate profit. I do not like the DM model for advertising, but so long as those DMs advertise the product itself and are rare, I can stomach it knowing how frequently I use the service/bot for free. Carl I'm not even sure you can specifically call "advertising" because it requires the use of a specific command and while it points to some weird site, I don't imagine many people would actually play roblox there. It's an annoying phenomenon and I think Discord should do something to discourage it, but this idea that we should "stop using xyz bot because of an ad" just doesn't work in the current internet paradigm. Nothing is free folks, someone is paying for it. With small bots, that's normally the guy or gal who wrote the code and does it for fun. The more popular something becomes the more expensive it is to run, and nobody is going to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars every week/month and invest hundreds of manhours into running and maintaining something for free. Even Discord isn't truly free, they operate at a loss right now, but they're building value by collecting metric fuck tons of our data, where do you think that data goes when they finally sell out? What do you think that data will be used for? I'm not saying there's no better bots out there, but mee6 and carl offer a dense amount of moderation features in a package that's easy for people to pick up and run with. There's huge communities and tons of people who know how to use them. I don't think they're going anywhere and if all of that is available at the cost of a random DM every few levels with mee6 or an annoying command people can call for roblox that links to an ad page with carl, well whatever. When they start spamming ads or advertising other products or using my google, twitter, and other data to target me for ads, I'll be more willing to cast them off and pick up a new bot.

Now, it’s been over a week and discord support keeps sending me a copy paste message saying “we’ll you were removed for violating terms and service so, we will not reactivate you.” They’ve even stopped responding to me. It’s bullshit and discord needs to get its shit together

They don’t use TH-cam. If you don’t use TH-cam to play music it’s ok.
Yeah most bots if not all use SoundCloud for music, heck there's even an official SoundCloud bot now, so it's allowed to have music bots

Tried MEE6 once a few years ago. It's a sentient, malevolent gargoyle of a bot. It is the Furby of discord bots. Friend was dead set on getting MEE6 for moderation purposes (someone did a bit of trolling in the server, we needed some decent firepower). Bloody thing kept saying "GG leveled up to lvl2" at inappropriate moments during conversations. Screw that, yeeted it out the server within a day. Told my friend we would use Dyno, no problems since. Dyno doesn't bother us, we ask very little of Dyno.
Only ever needed 4 commands from Dyno: purge messages, mute, ban, and cat. Cat gets used a lot.
In my opinion the advertisement from Carl bot is fine because it don't send you dms randomly and post the advertisement randomly in chat, it only shows it when you run a specific command.

The stuff Carlbot is doing isn’t even comparable to MEE6. As they don’t advertise this part of their bot hardly at all. The whole Roblox Cloud play just may be only accessible going through discord but it’s offsite application, it’s pretty vaild to have couple advertisements because you see it with all other game sites like Roblox and other webgames.

Considering how much bad history a lot of the overrated and well known bots, I think you should do a video of where you share some smaller bots that you think are as good as others. This can help pushing those bots to more server and therefor keep more people safe from the bigger badder bots.

Frequent user of Carl-bot here (and occasionally present in its support server as well as YAGPDB's) - I just want to clarify why the Roblox command exists. A couple of months ago, one of the current Carl-bot developers created a poll in the support server asking what new commands people wanted to see on the bot. There were a few options; music, levels, games, economy, and "other". The games option was referring to stuff for popular games like Minecraft and, well, Roblox, which makes sense, because Carl-bot does have some commands related to video games (most specifically Fortnite & World of Warcraft).
Anyway, what had happened was that music & levels were actually the most voted options, but neither of them could be implemented - although the code for music had been created, it was at this point when Discord started revoking verification from music bots that allowed people to play TH-cam videos. Meanwhile, there was already an existing system for levelling on Carl-bot, but it was a premium feature & it would've required a major rewrite. As a result, they went for the most picked result that wasn't either of them, and that was games. They made a poll asking what games people liked playing, and most people said Roblox. That's why they implemented the feature - note that it isn't something that's FORCED on you like MEE6 DMs, but rather a command of its own that you can choose to use or not.
As for what the Reddit post was saying about Carl-bot's support? It depends. It's definitely not terrible, but it can be strict at times. While it does make sense for that to happen considering both the bot's size and the server's size, I do still think they could loosen up a little bit; but again, it's not bad support, simply overly strict sometimes.

honestly cant stand using public bots. the only ones i use are ones i cant build myself. created a ticket in the mee6 server and talked to them about it, and they dont really care as far as i can tell
why would they care? They have a link to the discord devs, harvest data and sell it to discord. This is why this bots still exist.

I just gave up on all the "free" bots a while back, most have started to put features behind pay walls so in the end i just created my own bot, so i can have one good bot that works, instead of 25 that i use one function from each, or pay way to much money for.
I hope the Sapphire bot is in good hands and doesn't have any bad ties like this. I wanted a multi-purpose bot other than MEE6 and was looking for alternatives. I stumbled across Sapphire and it seems really neat so far!

This is exactly why i been phasing out mee6 from my own server recently. Making most useful features payed, slower compared to other bots, sometimes not giving out join ranks and now advertising to user. Might need a few more bots to do all that mee6 does but in the end it will be worth it.

As to why there is not more good bots i guess it's partially because people like to be payed or appreciated for their work. Neither of which most discord folk will or can give.

My experience with BotGhost was good, contrary to what is being said here. I think there is a lot of misinformation here, and all the people who dislike BotGhost are being targeted as a sort of "revenge." Taking things out of context is also an issue, as is blindly trusting one person to give you negative information or views. I do think that providing an unban to remove negative posts seems like bribery; however, the false and negative impact, as well as harassment against the company, is what I've been seeing. I am unsure who did provide you with information, but I do have a guess, which I will not disclose. Most likely, however, they were immature and broke rules to the point of being removed from the support team. They were both removed for the same reason.He also broke the TOS, even after being notified to stop. He was eventually kicked off the server and tried to spread slander everywhere, including Twitter. I do not fully support BotGhost; however, there are some things I believe could be handled better, such as not providing an unban to remove them and simply ignoring it altogether. You could also look at it as them providing a solution to their issue. If they needed support so desperately, BotGhost would unban them on the condition that they stop trying to tarnish their reputation based on false accusations.
I do know that all negative reviews are never removed, and I think this was just a bad experience. They had a review channel in their Discord server before and never deleted the bad reviews; in fact, I saw many of the management and higher server staff create threads and try to assist the users and accommodate them. I think the idea of "not trusting any good reviews because they bribe or remove any negative reviews" is a bit farfetched, especially because NTTS did not look at both sides of the story. I know the Fabian did not wish to comment on it, so I understand your assumption, but I also think that he didn't want to create controversy, as trying to "defend yourself" usually leads to more conflict.
This is my take upon this situation with my experience with BotGhost. I know this comment may sound a little biased, but I promise it isn't, I've had my fair share of struggles with them as well, but I don't think it's worthy of posting and harassing them in their Discord server, then Twitter.

Very valid and good take on the situation. I definitely think this is a combination of a bad experience, bad viewer attitude, and bad operating procedures from botghost. There were a ton of ways to resolve this and somehow the idea of "remove tweets = unban" was the option that was picked. From what I've heard from both sides, this definitely seems like a big case of a rare single fuckup being caught versus the more common operating procedures for handling troublesome members.
I understand the statement of "removing bad reviews loses trust in good reviews" may seem a bit farfetched but I think it is something that everyone should consider if actions like this do occur. If a mistake like this happens again (which according to another comment might have already happened) then this sentiment should be thought about more seriously.

This video gave me all the encouragement I needed to finally make my own bot for my discord server.
I hate mee6 too and generally block bots that DM me (why is this not a setting?), but the terms are somewhat vague, and their arguments can be understood as compliant with the terms. If they are as close with Discord as you suspect, they talked with them about it beforehand.

I think MEE6 authorization requires WAY too many permissions to be granted to the bot if you want it in your server, it asks for permission to access your email, see what messages you send on discord, administer your server, see what servers you're in etc. That's way too many permissions to be granted and can also be risky.

I actually like yagpdb, they don't advertise or ask for any money and have very few paid features. They're part of botlabs but other than that they are perfectly fine. If there's something I don't know of, well I don't know of it and it hasn't affected me or my server members.
Okay, I didn’t think this bot had so many problems to begin with, Goddamn. I’m not someone who manages the bots in servers so, I don’t have many experiences regarding bots that I know should be addressed. A major problem that I encountered with MEE6 was purely a social flaw. I’ve vented on Discord quite a lot and have involved myself in other people’s heart to heart conversations. It’s when someone is talking about being depressed or hopeless and then suddenly this bot’s like “GG @Someone, you just advanced to level 5!” And depending on the person/people present and severity of the situation, they would either laugh it off or be like “Wow, thanks a LOT, MEE6 bot for fixing the situation” and it’s happened a lot.
Mildly annoying/entertaining sure, but I would say a level up message at a serious convo is a non-issue. Problem with mee6 imo is, the frequency of level up messages gets annoying

I gotta say, I love YAGPDB, one of the best bots in my opinion, I don't ever see any advertisements around it. Didn't know it was in the botlabs thing though, very interesting. I mostly use it for the custom commands it has, and welcome messages. Other than that I have most its features disabled. Most other popular bots though are annoying. I dislike Carl-bot, I hate Mee6, I dislike using Dyno for most its features. I use YAGPDB for the custom commands and Auttaja for logging, that's about it, and I use my own bots to send embeds like rules, to look better.

A roleplay server I’m in uses mee6 because it’s got years of exp/levels in it and it can’t be transferred, otherwise we’d use something else. It’s basically just tolerance because otherwise people up to level 50 (which took multiple years, like I’ve been there almost 2 and I’m not even level 35 iirc, and I’m pretty dang active) would lose all of that. Why do bots make people pay to set levels/exp T^T

I pretty much only use Carl for reaction roles that don't dm you upon use, and moderation logs, because as far as banning and such goes, I just use the built-in functions, I don't get the point of why bots have ban commands when the button is right there in the Discord UI

I never thought other people had issues with carl bots staff because nobody really said anything but holy shit i do not like them. I didn't break any rules at all, i asked a question in the chat i was supposed to and they basically called me stupid then perma muted me for being annoying when i asked why are they insulting me.
Discord is an amazing platform, largely because it's among the only FREE ad-free environments on the internet. There's no banner ads, content and use isn't interrupted to talk about a sponsor, and they've managed to do an excellent job letting features sell nitro (though I'm sure nitro still doesn't produce enough revenue to support operating costs). It rubs me the wrong way when a bot on the platform sneaks around that environment to shoot ads at you. That being said, I get it and I can't be very upset with mee6 or carl for pushing a minimal amount of ads at us. Small bots don't take a lot of money or infrastructure to run, a few thousand api calls per day isn't a big deal, but a bot hosted on MILLIONS of servers and approaching many hundreds of millions or perhaps even billions of API calls each day (not all api calls are triggered by commands), that costs quite a bit of money to run. It also took the devs many hundreds or thousands of hours to set up and many more hours to maintain and update with new features.
Paid subscriptions probably cover a solid portion of the operating costs, perhaps even exceeding them, but these projects and bots are still designed to generate profit. I do not like the DM model for advertising, but so long as those DMs advertise the product itself and are rare, I can stomach it knowing how frequently I use the service/bot for free. Carl I'm not even sure you can specifically call "advertising" because it requires the use of a specific command and while it points to some weird site, I don't imagine many people would actually play roblox there.
It's an annoying phenomenon and I think Discord should do something to discourage it, but this idea that we should "stop using xyz bot because of an ad" just doesn't work in the current internet paradigm. Nothing is free folks, someone is paying for it. With small bots, that's normally the guy or gal who wrote the code and does it for fun. The more popular something becomes the more expensive it is to run, and nobody is going to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars every week/month and invest hundreds of manhours into running and maintaining something for free. Even Discord isn't truly free, they operate at a loss right now, but they're building value by collecting metric fuck tons of our data, where do you think that data goes when they finally sell out? What do you think that data will be used for?
I'm not saying there's no better bots out there, but mee6 and carl offer a dense amount of moderation features in a package that's easy for people to pick up and run with. There's huge communities and tons of people who know how to use them. I don't think they're going anywhere and if all of that is available at the cost of a random DM every few levels with mee6 or an annoying command people can call for roblox that links to an ad page with carl, well whatever. When they start spamming ads or advertising other products or using my google, twitter, and other data to target me for ads, I'll be more willing to cast them off and pick up a new bot.

Yeah my account got disabled on discord for participating in “revenge p*rn” thing is I’ve never done this, I’ve never supported it and it’s disgusting. Now, it’s been over a week and discord support keeps sending me a copy paste message saying “we’ll you were removed for violating terms and service so, we will not reactivate you.” They’ve even stopped responding to me. It’s bullshit and discord needs to get its shit together
