The problem with my top alternator connector is that it won't click down and it slowing rises up with engine vibration. I found the problem before i seen this video! Thumbs up 👍

I have a 2014 F150 5.0 with the opposite problem. When I first start it up, after 1 min the battery light will come on, but it goes away after I start accelerating. When I let my foot off to coast up to a stop sign it will come back on. After I drive it for 10 min or so, it usually doesn't come back on. Even after sitting at a light for several minutes. I'll try to test the batt and alternator this weekend.

I use butt splice connections that solder, heat shrink, and glue seal it all in one step with a heat gun. They are cheap and makes wiring effortless

Good morning, I have new batteries, a new alternator, and the entire engine wiring harness is new as well, but one of the two thin cables that go into the alternator has no power, it's at 0, what should I do now? Thank you very much, I hope for your help.

I like your videos thank you very much. Any idea why I would have a flickering service engine soon like. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes flickers. It could be because I installed led dash bulbs

change the bulbs back this would answer the question

Thank you for the reply. I had a stuck injector and fried #7. I bought a motor with 90k (unverified). Truck is running rough still. I put new stock injectors in and still runs rough. I did your tests with the oil temp sensor and the intake manifold air temperature sensor as well as the map sensor. The manifold temp sensor Will be in tomorrow. I ordered Ford Motorcraft. I will never order a Non-Motorcraft sensor again. The reason my injector got stuck on the last engine was I bought a cheap fuel filter on Amazon which came apart Three weeks later and allowed it all kinds of contaminants to go into the fuel system. I’ve had the injectors in and out of this truck at least 12 times and I can’t seem to figure out what is causing it to run so rough. I also have some high EGT temperatures in which I will be addressing tomorrow. I was hoping I could open up a dialogue with someone experience with this engine that could help me

So far I've seen no appreciable difference on time of day, I have experimented releasing the identical video with different thumb nails only altering play time by a few seconds then releasing at different times . I have noticed that youtube will shuffle a guys video's 3 times a month, views and subscriptions will shoot way up those days and if content is of no interest I'll re post it some times it will then get interest. The only thing that amazes me is viewers won't watch the entire video and form a conclusion in the comments that is completely wrong

@@CUSTOMWORKS7.3PSD when I cared I found that I would get more views if I uploaded between 9 and 10am. Not released but actually uploaded. It took a few days for the algorithm to pick it up. Thanks for the info.
I have a question you may have an answer for
It got down to 14 degrees last week. I had my block heater plugged in on my 7.3. No crank. 12.6v at each battery. 12.3 at starter. Nothing on signal wire at starter. The relay in the cab was working. I put the ignominious in the run position and jumped the starter. I drove around for about 3 hours. Just left it running and locked the doors. 2 weeks later and it has started every time. Is there a second relay that could have been frozen.

Last time two times I did service on a situation that sounds very exact to your problem One was the ignition switch was worn out in the column the contacts had contracted just enough not to make the circuit and the second one was the contacts on the clutch pedal engagement. The first was a shot of deoxit gold 5 cleaned it right up 2nd was replacement of unit
