    I believe she's talking about Carole Maggio's Facercise book. The exercises really do work and that's one of her tips. She's not a plastic surgeon but I've used her stuff off and on over the years and had good results. It's hard in the beginning, but just keep practicing until you get it. Your facial muscles will fee the burn. If you look her up in her recent photos, her facial muscles are very defined, too much actually, because she does this so often with clients. But her face is her advertisement!

      @Louis Kingsta Because I tried it! Years ago I bought the book and took "Before" photos. But life got hectic/busy and I put it aside for over 5 years. I finally started the program for about 8 weeks(?). I showed my friend the photo from 5 years ago and before I could tell her when it was taken, she kept marveling about ". . . how much younger you look now!" When I told her she was saying I looked younger now than I had 5 years ago, she immediately ordered the book. Besides, you can feel the muscles getting stronger.

    • @luciacano3686
      @luciacano3686 2 ปีที่แล้ว +59

      @@whitequeen96 I mean that doesn’t seem very credible, like why not compare a photo from right before you started the facial exercises and then after the 8 weeks. Showing a photo from 5 years ago doesn’t seem right. Plus sure you could look younger but that could be due to style and fashion and how subconsciously your friend finds the style older since it was a while back and correlates it too your appearance. (For example think about thin eyebrows and how they were in a few years ago but aren’t anymore, someone could say you look older just because they aren’t used to that style anymore).

      Well I don't know if it's placebo or not but the exercise actually has logic behind it. The chic doesn't do a good job explaining it. The reason you put your finger under your nose to do the exercise is so that it acts as a restriction for the muscles that you tense when you flare up the nostrils as that movement makes your entire nose go down. It's like you are making your nose weight lift basically. So technically it could strenghten the muscles overtime which could potentially affect the look of it.

I made my lips permanently plump over 2 years by pinching them, I swear people started accusing me for having fillers. 2. I made eyelid lifting permanently over 1 year of face massage and ice applied. And I am 22. Now I start seeing differences at my nose for massaging it and getting a shorter nose tip. It does work but it won't be wonders.

    I truly don't understand why these beauty influencers or such go like oh you're beautiful you don't have to change but if it makes you less insecure, do it. I mean it's still the same thing, no? doing such things still feeds into people's insecurities. You are still altering something about your features that you don't like. Shouldn't we do things that make us accept our features rather than trying to alter it surgically or non-surgically? This isn't hate, this is just my opinion.
