I don't know which pixel fan bois you have met. There are so selective users. I own a pixel since 4a now almost 4 years. There are many issues, mainly network and heating. But every phone today has some issue and they lack updates. Pixel camera is still better than many, it doesn't give saturated results but try editing your pictures and the pictures will not blur because they are close to raw images and mainly we get monthly updates on time. And Tensor/Pixel is not made for gaming neither the pixel users are into gaming, many buy it for user interface. Day to day task mein kabhi koi issue nahi ayegi.

*Skintones are a dicey subject as it depends on personal preference and OEM tuning.* I disliked the skintones from Op12 which were overly warm and bright in my testing. But I do see Pixel kinda messing up your skintones. I also agree on the part of poor resale and service as of now. *About the AI features,* you need to have a Google one/plus subscription. It's free on Pixel and just works better. Some functions works offline and on-device too thanks to Tensor. *Pixel experience* isn't technically stock android. OP has it's own issues when it comes to software. Iqoo again is way below. Ios is great but again, many android users don't like that experience although we are used to it. *Samsung modems* even on S24 in my testing were not as effecient and strong as the SD8gen2 modems, forget Gen 3. But I didn't face any network issues as such. Although the OP12 shows better 5G speeds and more network towers in synthetic testing, in reality, the buffering and download speed is almost the same. 5G speed are like 4G++ anyways. Not a deal breaker imho. Google has optimised their battery drain on Pixel 8 with data turned on which Samsung themselves couldn't on their S24, yet. As I'm not a gamer like most Iphone pro or Samsung Ultra user's, I would still pick Pixel 8 over Op12. But the prices back in India put Pixel 8, S24 and the iphone 15 in a tough spot against the Op12 which is superior in some aspects. *Ps:* Just note that the Golden trio above generally have better cameras and obviously software and updates than the Op12. *So pick you poison.* I personally think, S23 is a great buy around 45-50k in sales...even over the iPhone 15 which is a great device but typical of iphones, they get boring quickly. Especially with that dated, 60Hz, no notch, poor file manager and gesture implementation etc. Apple devices make more sense if you're building an ecosystem. *As a standalone device, iphones are less productive than their Android counterparts in general.* Cheers!

Things where pixel stands in In-hand feel of mobile, weight distribution, haptics & camera(others are getting better too).. I have been using Pixel 4a since almost 4yrs and my experience is mixed... Phone is compact, bloatware free stock android experience, good cameras.... But it's messy updates & it's worst battery life is still concerning. Also after sales service is not so good... Service takes 2-3 weeks, parts availability is questionable & parts are wayy costly. So despite of being pixel user, I'll switch to Samsung S24 in this year for sure.

Solid Review, Pixel phones are always in Beta. Also, the Repairs are costly. I accidentally dropped my Pixel 7 and cracked the back panel, Pixel customer care asked for 11700 Rs for back panel replacement and I had to send the phone to Noida. I sold my Pixel 7 for all the reasons explained in the video. Portrait mode is worse, they don't understand Indian skin tones and do weird processing. The network is unreliable and so is the battery. Thermals are worst, not for North India in summers

Watched on my pixel 6 purchased 3 years ago on the day of launch. I do around 3-4 hours of gaming not at once and screentime is around 8hours including office work. Phone still lasts 16+ hours on a complete charge. Wondering if pixel 8 is a downgrade from 6? I don't think so.

don't buy pixel, using pixel 8 and pixel buds pro, believe it or not both are big headache 3 months back had issue with display, Get it fixed but again 2 weeks back again issue with display again get it fixed and now lets see how long this will last. if happened again I will definitely throw in dustbin. pixel buds sounds great but connectivity sucks. there 3rd party service centre🤮
They need to optimize their skin tone accuracy and portrait otherwise for nature high dynamic range pics and night mode it's one of the best wish they fix these issues in camera and processor i really want pixel to improve... Their user experience is so good... Let's see they improve
Pixel must do something for it's heating issue. Last summer I was not able to hold the phone (if you are not in AC). If you record video, phone will shutdown after couple of minutes due to overheating issue. In addition to that it does hang sometimes. I think it is overpriced. It should be a mid range phones
So what about all the iphone non pro/pro series, that just dim the brightness, and eventually lowers the refresh rate and shut down the phone after a while in the sun, oh wait you're not in an AC room😔

I see people appreciating OnePlus cameras everywhere and i get it, they're coming from redme or xiomi phones and oneplus does work better than those. My samsung Z flip 3 used to click far and far better pictures than my oneplus 12, which is the latest smartphone they're offering. I used to hate the hdr videos of iphones and thats why i switched to the Samsung.

Not sure about you but Pixel 8 has better camera clarity than iPhone 15. In DXO as of now Pixel is at 18 and Iphone 15 at 22. Video clarity is good in iphone I agree

Pixel must do something for it's heating issue. Last summer I was not able to hold the phone (if you are not in AC). If you record video, phone will shutdown after couple of minutes due to overheating issue. In addition to that it does hang sometimes. I think it is overpriced. It should be a mid range phones

Thanks for the video. I guess only samsung takes better pictures and videos, when it comes to android ecosystem. I juat hate oneplus cameras. I see people appreciating OnePlus cameras everywhere and i get it, they're coming from redme or xiomi phones and oneplus does work better than those. My samsung Z flip 3 used to click far and far better pictures than my oneplus 12, which is the latest smartphone they're offering. I used to hate the hdr videos of iphones and thats why i switched to the Samsung.
