    Finally a real Vietnamese guest pronouncing these dishes and explaining them correctly lol. That’s how you educate your viewers. Great vid

    Fun fact "Bo" also means crawling as well. They call it banh bo because when you bake it, it actually "crawls" upward like how bread rises when being baked

    This video “ touched “ me so hard, thank you for exploring and popularizing Vietnam’s food and culture. Thank you for all the passion and compliments about my Home’s food. Thank you for bringing me back Home just by watching and listening to those words. It is really interesting and exciting to see all those “evolved” dishes. This video is really touching, it means a lot to Vietnamese child/children like me who always have a heart for their Home. Somehow, i feel proud of Việt Nam, Việt Namese culture and food as i’m watching this video. Cảm ơn Fung Bros. Cảm ơn to the people who love Việt Nam. Stay safe everybody ! ❤️🇻🇳🍀

    The thing with any Vietnamese soups/ soup based dishes, is that they don’t really focus on the toppings for the dishes but how tasty the broth itself is…that’s why it doesn’t matter if the dish doesn’t have meat in it, it’s the broth that makes the dish

      My family is from the south of Vietnam and we also eat it on a daily basis. I've heard it used to be only on New Years because meat was rare/expensive back then so it was reserved for special occasions. Now meat is easily accessible so it can be eaten whenever.

    The doctors and nurses at our clinics always eat balut/hot vit lon every single potluck along side mexican menudo/tacos, and philipino foods...etc from other countries that our staff bring.
    There's a lot of nutrient in hot vit lon especially if you're trying to get over a hangover, or trying to make babies haah

    10:34 why do Vietnamese people use stuff with Chinese lettering on it? This is why I can’t tell the difference between them sometimes as much as I try to

    • @HenRy-bm9ww
      @HenRy-bm9ww 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So does that mean you can't tell the difference between English, French, and German because they all use the Roman alphabet? Also, Vietnamese people have been using Chinese characters much longer than the current writing system there. Southern China and Vietnam have a long interconnected history with one another.
