I thought the opposite actually. I think the beginning of the song is kind of like "ok, you haven't faced anyone this tough yet, he's gonna really test you" but still struck me as maybe an early or first boss theme type when you're still not acclamated to gameplay yet. Or the first time you fight a very tough reoccurring boss. But not an all-powerful final boss. About 19 seconds in it sort of levels up in power a little bit but still I'm not sold it should be for the final boss. At 0:33 it starts to really blow me away. This guy is not playing around, he has all kinds of wild and dazzling displays of power that we cannot begin to comprehend. Good freaking luck. This is a final boss theme. But I wasn't quite feeling it like that until the 30 second mark.
☠ The wii had multiple of the most iconic and best music pieces of whole gaming. You really have to catch up on it. super mario galaxy, twillight princess, smash bros, etc

The lore behind Tabuu is what makes him the greatest Smash boss of all time and not even close. He embodies everything Smash is about and his theme is insanely good.
ultris07 well subspace took over 60% of Brawl's development time, time that could have been used better balancing the cast, adding more characters (Mewtwo, Roy, Tetra, and Dixie Kong were not included because of it), and more stages.

I consider Tabuu the true final boss of super smash bros. The subspace emissary showed that Tabuu rules subspace as a god, but isn’t literally a god, like Galeem and Dharkon. Many final bosses are gods these days and it gets a little cliché. Tabuu’s spirit was captured in the world of light, but with subspace, can easily conquer light and dark. If fighters from the cast can do it, Tabuu can do it. With light and dark conquered in his hands, Tabuu would have worked his way up to being a powerful being instead of starting off as one, like Galeem and Dharkon. Tabuu also had many bosses in his possession, and his army was enormous. If a new adventure mode happened with Galeem, Dharkon and Tabuu as bosses, it’d be fitting to see Galeem and Dharkon apart of the subspace army and Tabuu being the final boss. In my eyes, Tabuu meets the requirements of a final boss, as he is not a god or anything, but simply a powerful enemy who became an evil. Him also not being revealed until the very end adds on to this. He is mysterious and can do many things. Tabuu also has a lot of suspense coming to his arrival. Even when you are in subspace, you still have to do the great maze. Unlike every other boss in SSB history, i view Tabuu as the only boss capable of conquering light and dark, as well as making an enormous army. TL;DR: Tabuu is the perfect final boss for super smash bros 6 imo, even acknowledging the presence of Galeem and Dharkon
I do wonder that there is no lore attached to him besides "powerful data looking like entity". Wonder what Sakurai had concepted for him in a game where The chancelor or Ganondorf got more personality through no direct communication.
That’s why out of all the finale boss of smash bros, tabuu is one to take the cake, to me he’s the player spirit realizing this world is his and his only.
@@Isow23 That's a cool interpretation because I always thought Tabuu was the player's overbearing parent or even his (young) adult side trying to stop them from playing with their trophies.
This guy has his very own dimension, extracts dimensional energies and converts them to lasers, binding chains, energy blast, and is able to transform into anything and grow into an enormous size. He teleports constantly and sometimes leaves an explosive aftermath. Need I mention the expansive attack that covers a wide area and ends the battle before it even begins? Most of all, he orchestrated everything from behind the scenes. Yeah, Tabuu is definitely one of the most underrated character.
I absolutely love this theme not just because of how awesome it is, but how it's implemented in the story. Up to this point, all boss themes have had a grand orchestral feeling to them, so they felt quite large in scale, yet grounded. Then you meet the one who was pulling the strings all along, and it's a creature who appears otherworldly, even alien-like, and whose motives are beyond that of human desires. The ominous intro to the erratic use of the synthesizer, consisting of heavy staccatos, fast arpeggios, and church organ really sell the idea that this enemy you're fighting is not only powerful, but unlike anything you have faced up to this point. Seriously, the synth melody feels alien in this game. It's so mysterious and devious, yet so cool and awesome. They really made an amazing track for the final boss. I love it.
My favorite song in SSBB. The guitar is just plain awesome, from the opening riff that pretty much says how Bad-ass Tabuu is, to the fast paced awesomeness that pretty much says this will be epic. This song is AWESOME!
I still remember when I bought Brawl only because it had Sonic in it, and at the end, I became a Nintendo fan. But this game has a special place in my heart, there won't be a single smash game that can make what brawl did
This guy was truly the meaning of doom, manipulated characters, and easily turned everyone into trophies. I know Galeem and Dharkon (hope spelled right) could do this also but Tabuu was the first brutal enemy we had.
Electronic instruments can produce a much wider variety of sounds than real instruments can, so the trick is just making the most effective use of them, which this game clearly did. ; )

Just because you CAN, doesn't mean you SHOULD. It's not a popularity contest; from what they said, they're basically just crowdsourcing ideas for potential fighters.
It's iconic, it's epic, it's a TOTAL original, I don't think we will ever have a more iconic Smash theme than this one(and the intro). But what makes this one so special is that is not a remix, it's not a second version, no, it was made from scratch specifically for the very last moment of the game(even if it has some Earthbound/Mother energy). No official remix in the game makes Tabuu's theme the most iconic Smash music because it's never been remade, unlike the intro that got remixed to fill some sections of the game(as the menu or the map editor)
For the next time you are battling Master Hand in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, never forget that it is merely a puppet on strings to a much higher power.
