I still play SSBB after 8 years, i got it in 2012. Back then i was used to Mario Kart Wii so the graphics were astounding, and they still are. I still clearly remember when my dad turned on the console and inserted the CD out of the blue, and the hype crawling in my body when i first saw the introduction. I loved, love, and will always love this game.
With the combination of orchestra choirs and guitar solos for music and amazing visuals including galaxies and sunsets, this was as epic as smash bros could get. We haven’t seen the full stage for ultimate or the music used for it, but I PRAY to god it’s as good as brawl

The best Final Destination. Even though it's the third version of the stage it was the first to be the now standard rectangle shape, and the first one available from the start. We all know we played this stage a lot just to listen to the music while fighting.
Nah i played it for more than just the music. Literally the best final destination stage of any smash game. Way to overlook the gorgeous background and special effects along with the synced music. The stage also changes color based on the background so the immersion overall is incredible. I hate when ppl just focus on one thing and ignore everything else

As i'm more of a casual player, I have to admit Brawl had some mechanics that were rather questionable. But no matter the less it was a great smash game and more nostalgic than Melee. At least for me.

@@St0rmGuy as long as the switch is around we’re never getting another high quality console game again , ultimate is a mobile/portable game . i’m not dissing the switch , i just can’t see it outputting a remastered HD brawl at a steady 60fps docked/undocked and high textures , this is the most technically demanding smash game , even the wii had to use dual layer disc for it .
THE final destination. Brawl will always be the best in my eyes. Melee may have had the better combat, but damn it, Brawl had the atmosphere. Subspace Emissary was easily the best story mode. All new original and existing bosses and enemies. Some may call them forgettable, but I call them underrated. Primid, Floow, Duon, Ancient Minister - all of them! I’m glad Galleom and Tabuu made cameos in World of Light. Thank you Sakurai for making my childhood ❤
the whole vibe of brawl is unmatched and i hate that nintendo didn’t follow through with making smash a darker , rough looking game . when smash wii u came out , they went back to their same ol’ nintendo ways with all of their games having the same childish look and feel to it . it would be nice if their only some what fighting game franchise that has characters beating the brakes of eachother could look more serious and badass like brawl did , but whatever

I think Ultimate has the edge there with it being able to render the very threads in Mario’s hat and clothes, but I do agree that it has a very distinct style unlike any other. Take the Dark Cannon. What should’ve been a forgettable and bland weapon, remains in my mind one of the coolest concepts I’ve ever seen in a game. A futuristic cannon that can shoot arrows of light that turn characters into trophies. I was especially traumatized when Wario killed Ness with it. The Ruined Zoo is also my favorite area in Subspace Emissary and it sparked my interest in post-apocalyptic areas. It also got me into Pokemon Diamond and Pearl with its music Edit: I watched the PC video, and while I think it looks extremely clean, I still think that Ultimate wins this battle

The soundtrack for Brawl is so iconic and fanominal. I think I can be safe calling it my favorite soundtrack in the series (in terms of it's original music ofc), Smash 4's and Melee's are also fantastic, but brawl just had that grand edge that made it so much more epic which this stage captures perfectly

This brings back so many good memories… I’ll never forget the times I’d play with my brother on the Wii he would use Lucas I’d use Kirby I think, and he would always pick this stage. When we played (when mother would let us play with the music on) this stage would always feel so dynamic, and when the sun comes down and you can see the Ocean and the music drops that moment is so beautiful, right then and there the Smash Ball spawns and I would try my hardest to get it so I can finally win… Memories from better times.

Considering that the Wii is just a GameCube with motion controls, it’s really impressive that they did with this stage.
i doubt the switch could run a remastered version of brawl or even the original one in all honesty, especially undocked .
I remember, as a little kid, every time I'd play on this stage I'd watch the background unravel while listen to the theme even while fighting against a friend or against the A.I

I doubt it would look as good since ultimates graphics are noticeably worse than brawls. Ultimate damn near has no detail and everything just looks..flat.

I never grew up with Brawl but, This song and Smash Flash is what got me into the actual Smash Bros series.
This brings back so many good memories…
I’ll never forget the times I’d play with my brother on the Wii he would use Lucas I’d use Kirby I think, and he would always pick this stage. When we played (when mother would let us play with the music on) this stage would always feel so dynamic, and when the sun comes down and you can see the Ocean and the music drops that moment is so beautiful, right then and there the Smash Ball spawns and I would try my hardest to get it so I can finally win…

have you ever played brawl (dolphin) on PC? it’s literally the best looking smash game to date, people have this misconception from playing it on weak hardware like the wii where it was downgraded and compressed to 480p.
