The force between light and dark glitches, then all of a sudden a humanoid figure shows up and stops the two forces immediately. He steals the eyes and powers of Galeem and Dharkon, and becomes the ultimate boss. The god of Enlightened Darkness. EVERYONE will face Tabuu again
Yeah. Tabuu was a large leap in difficulty compared to the previous boss, which was Meta Ridley. In most difficulties, nearly every attack has the potential to 0-to-death your fighter unless you knew how to dodge it (especially the waves). Eventually, I watched someone else beat Tabuu on Intense and figured out several cues to Tabuu's attacks, which made fighting him on Hard beatable for me. Haven’t tried Intense yet, but I bet every attack can and will KO my fighters if they get hit.
I will admit though. I was surprised he wasn’t counting his ray gun blasts nor his super scope uses. I was waiting for him to throw them after they were used up, but he went and fired blanks! How did he do a no-hit-run but still uses the blasters like a newb?
Gotta love that you have Tabuu, representing this idea of “adulthood” and “maturity” where you have to leave your childhood and everything fun behind, and then in comes Sonic to turn the tides and save the day by showing that even as you grow up you can still keep a sense of whimsy no matter how old you get

This game is why I'm a Nintendo fan today, it's the reason I'm the gamer that I am, it's the reason why I'm the person that I am. I know it sounds stupid, but I really do have such feelings for this game. This game was my shoulder to cry on, it was an escape. It had all my favorite video game characters, plus some of them who I didn't know and learnt about. As someone who didn't use the internet at that time, finding new characters, stages, modes, and secrets was something really special. I've defeated Tabuu in the game, and in my life. I love this game.
GOSH. i wish we had this kind of PVE campaign in Ultimate
Brawl is something special
My 8 year old self is still wondering how the hell you dodged the one hit move
Oh I remember this guy from a while back. I also remember I could never beat him.
Can't believe we once fought against fairy in Pinocchio(2022)
What’s interesting that there is a smash Bros brawl mod we can play as Tabuu which uses the exact same abilities
He should of been a boss in world of light
@Ignacio Vera It's because Galeem > Tabuu.
Someone already suggested this but what if Tabuu returns and absorbs Galeem and Dharkon and be the final boss
@@ShinyTheJirachi A lot of people would disagree
@@mrepicdood9953 And that's why Sakurai didn't add Tabuu as a boss in Ultimate.
@@ShinyTheJirachi Or its because they don’t want a repeating villain.
Imagine if the intro had ”Sonic Appears” when he appears like in 06
