I have a 2008 Silverado 2500hd crew cab and a few years back i had all my trim dip in Camo because I am a hunting guide. Over the years the sun has faded it and i was going to have it all redone in Carbon Fiber. I am so glad you did your trucks which they turned out bad ass! Got my wrap material ordered today and can't wait to do mine. You saved me about $280 . Gonna order a flashlight too. Keep the videos coming. Great job!!!!

Been watching the channel for years. Just got the AVS bug shield up. Vinyl wrapped my two front doors. Attempted the center console and messed it up 3 times. This is definitely a learning experience
Wrapping always looks so easy...but it just takes some practice. CKWraps has a great channel on how to wrap.

Thank you so for doing this video! I have been wanting to rid my all black 2019 Rocky Ridge RST of the chrome interior trim. Now I know how it would look with carbon fiber. I’ve debated on vinyl or possibly Dyna Performance’s carbon fiber stuff. I recommend covering your chrome passive door lock buttons. I found a guy on Etsy who sells vinyl die cuts to cover them, and they’ve held up great for almost 2 years now.

@@chasecampbell7840 thank you once I’m done building my truck I’ll do a video clip and post it up on here and I’ll tag on you it so you can see it. Going with a McGaughys lift kit and going 24’s JTX forged wheels in black got the AWE exhaust and I’m going to custom stitch a different pattern on the leather inserts like an X pattern like a Luxury sports car would have in it.

I got my trail boss in the 2021 2 months ago I got it in the midnight edition everything that you did in the carbon fiber came exactly like that from the dealer brand new with only 2 miles on it

You need to get the gloss black door pillars, off the LTZs I replaced mine on my ‘19 Trail boss. Makes it look so much better.. or you could just wrap them.

Just ordered the same vinyl so I can de-chrome my 2021 High Country, you did such an epic job and I will be going with the same color scheme with the satin as well.
This gives the truck a much more premium look, the faux wood grain in the Trail Boss and High Country looks cheap in my opinion and I don't know why GM decided to go that route.
When they are asking $65k to $75k plus for their higher end trucks the trim details should match.

Great video, you inspired me to take that leap of faith and get that trim tool out and start poppin trim off and get those mods done👍 truck sounds really good too, what exhaust did you go with or recommend. I’ve got a 21 Silverado 5.3 single side exit exhaust and am looking at going with a dual black tip side exit but don’t want droning issues. AFE, Borla or Flowmaster is what I’ve studying up on!! I just can’t make a decision.
Mark he went with an AFE power muffler delete. Has a video out on it. Good luck in your truck.
On the cup holder trim that won't stay down, not sure if it's the same on a Silverado, but on my boss's f150 we had to take the console apart and bend the tabs from the backside on his trim because it was aluminum
I did my 2019 RST interior for the same reason!! Blazing sun on chrome doesn’t below inside your truck! Wtf GM?!?! Your truck looks awesome. I like the glossy carbon but I did mine with matte and it still looks really cool.
Hey dude. Love the carbon fibre look. Look for some TuffSkinz carbon fibre letter inserts for your tailgate. Did it on my Silverado. Subtle change but none like it 👍🏻.

I wrapped the bezel in my old 2016 gmc and it was a nightmare around the top edge haven't even give it a thought on the trailboss

LOVE the new trip but I worry about the adhesive letting go sometime in July or Aug with our Texas heat my man.
He already has done his other truck and I believe it was done before summer I doubt the heat would be a problem after all a heat gun is used when installing
The door handles, I would have went for the satin black. But the gloss carbon fiber look fresh though. 👍🏼
Happy 4th LH, quick question, do you know if the chrome rings in the interior of the truck that go around the A/C vent on the passenger side and the A/C vent and the light control on the drivers side can be removed, popped off? Rather than wrap them I'd like to use plasti dip if I can remove them. Thanks KH

Wrap or paint the tow hooks the same color as the color you have on the wheels. That would be nice!!! Otherwise badass truck 🛻 🔥

Does all the upgrades and improvements bring up the value of the vehicle?
Any trick to popping the trim pieces out without breaking the tabs? Or just grab a trim tool kit and go for it (carefully)? Been planning to do this to my Sierra for a while. Looks like I ought to grab that trim knife. Also, what is that green tool you were using to push the vinyl around the edges? Love the vids man keep em coming! 🤙🤙
If it's cold outside it means the car is cold inside I would turn on the heater and run it on high until it's basically uncomfortable inside the vehicle then start pulling things apart.
Cold plastic is brittle, warm plastic is not as brittle and hot plastic isn't brittle at all(unless it is a SOCAL or AZ vehicle that is several years old and has been exposed to triple digit temperatures on a regular basis, if this is the case... *GOOD LUCK!* ).💁♂️

What type of blue was that one roll you had on the table. Im looking to do the accents in my blue. Im doing a blue and white kinda theme with my truck. And was the steering wheel trim hard to wrap, while it's still on, or should I take it off to wrap it. Thank you in advance
The steering wheel trim is a pain to get off so I didn't go that route. You need to remove the airbag and I didn't want to play that game. Sometimes its easier while its mounted so it doesn't move around.

My problem would be not having the balls to pop off the plastic parts. All I can see is me breaking stuff. The wrap looks good I have a 2019 black GMC SLT with mostly the same interior as yours I just couldn't do it.
