Love my 2025. Bought it as a parts locomotive. Little cleaning and she has been running ever since. Shes a puller for sure. Ive put 20+ 1950s 60s and 70s era scratch built o scale cars behind her. Pulls all of them with no issue.
Just picked up my first ever postwar piece (not counting the 394 I got) off ebay yesterday. A 2055 with the tender. Looks damn good in the pictures if they're to be believed.
I've a few postwar pieces in my collection but no boxcab. I've seen pictures. But until your video I've never seen one actively pulling a consist. Must say I'm impressed! You're got some great pieces.
Great video! I'm 75 and have been collecting postwar Lionel since the eighties and still have my Union Pacific freight set I got when I was a kid. I'm very happy to see young people who enjoy the hobby and realize the historical value of postwar trains. BTW, I'm a new subscriber.
Nice, much prefer the post war Lionel to the modern stuff. There is just so many you tube videos already covering the new stuff.
What an amazing selection of post war goodness! A 773! Love it!

Congratulations on obtaining your 1950 #773!! It runs nice and smooth from what I could tell from the video. Great run session!😎
Great layout a d so very kool trains! TU nice choice in music
I like all those post war engines.New subscriber here
Nice run. I liked the 773 the best.
Just subscribed.
It’s probably a custom. Original Lionel western pacific F3s never came with a Bunit
The quiet smooth operation is due to the nickel plated baldwin wheels.
Magna traction does hold the track better, for curves and speed.tough choices.
Nice Layout mate . Nice rolling stock too !
