Some of my friends are very excited about Looking for Mr. Goodbar. They say it's a great movie, and apparently has been difficult to see for a long time. I'm excited to get it and check it out.
Also, vinegar syndrome always keeps a couple November releases secret until Black Friday. And pretty much everyone is saying one of them this year is going to be Michael Mann's The Keep.
@@cobwebschannel I had heard that too but I was reluctant to put that out there because it feels like The Keep is one they would want to hype up...I kinda want to get those blind buys in case but it can be a gamble with VS lol
I ordered Congo. I haven't seen it in long time as well. Sucks they can't tell us a release date! Was hoping for another title, The Keep. But think it is one of the Secret Releases. But I am not buying movies not knowing what they are. I will wait until the actual Black Friday sale and have to pay more.
What’s up bro… hey I jumped on the VS preorders… I grabbed 1 Looking for Mr goodbar 2 Red Rooms 3 Hitman Hart 4 Blackeyed Susan 5 Interrogation Oh and I grabbed 10 criterion’s from the 50% off sale at Barnes and Noble…. I’m done this year except for HUSH.
BTW, if you want the ultimate Blind Bag experience with Vinegar Syndrome hang tight till April Fool's Day. They do a special hidden item every year. The first two years were special slipcovers. I'm still waiting for this year's item. I ordered it 6 months ago, but I'm sure I will be thrilled when it arrives.
I had to pre-order Cannibal the Musical! Hilarious movie if you're into Troma films. It was made by the South Park co-creators back in the 90's. Also, I'm interested in that Seinfeld set and Willow!
👋, the comments I'm seeing about Mr Goodbar reminds me of a favorite of mine called Body Heat, 1981. William Hurt and Kathleen Turner. 😊 I remember in college I told my teacher I had been watching it and he goes "Whoa!, Ben." He laughed. 😅
Looking for Mr. Goodbar was based on a true story. I've read the book many years ago. The reason why some people didn't like the movie is because of its sexual content, but it plays an intricate part of the story, involving the character's personality.
I was going to comment on Looking For Mr. Goodbar, but I see plenty of other people have beaten me to it. It was a huge release back in the 70s and has been stuck on VHS due to musical rights. I finally broke down and bought a bootleg recently, but now I have ordered the legitimate release. I keep hoping Vinegar Syndrome will give us a fully uncut version of The Harrad Experiment. It stars James Whitmore and a very young Don Johnson, but has been stuck on DVD and even then mostly in heavily edited versions. It too was based on a bestseller and has lots of nudity and sexual situations.
@@AVAPopCulture pretty sure the keep was just a rumor. Bc I would not be surprised that the keep does not come out at all. And I say that bc the director of the keep Michael mann has said in interviews that the keep will never get any physical release as far as he is Concerned
I would have preferred a Sphere VSU release over Congo. I did preorder the Seinfeld 4K complete series (my favorite all-time sitcom) but with the 4K original aspect ratio being a limited release and the blu-ray hd cropped version a mod no limit release is a dirty ploy by Sony.
