Had to get The Keep! My Dad that passed away in 2020 introduced me to this movie back in the 90's on VHS. I also got Congo and Goin South while I was at it.
@@AVAPopCulture I also ordered Congo and Mats Helge Olsson's Blood Tracks, I hope Vinegar Syndrome also acquires the rights to his insane Swedish action film "The Ninja Mission"
It’s crazy The Keep is at 4,699 out of 12,000 crazy fast seller probably sell out this weekend if not today or tomorrow been wanting a good copy forever on this one.
I’m so excited for The Keep and Sliver too. VS came through this time for sure!! I liked the other two Mexican horror movies, so I picked up Don’t Panic this time around. Apparently, the protagonist is a grown man running around fighting demons while wearing dinosaur pajamas. That’s all the synopsis I need! Hope you and your family have an amazing holiday season!
yeah I am excited for The Keep and Sliver!! Sliver is very underrated! Both Mexican horror movies looked good to me but I couldnt slide them in under my $100 spending limit on Vinegar Syndrome lol... and thank you so much! Happy Holiday Season to you and yours as well!
Scooped up The Keep and Sliver. Added to my pre-order of Mr. Goodbar. Mr. Goodbar is a blind buy but from what I’ve seen and read, it’s a debauched tale featuring Diane Keaton like you’ve never seen her before. The trailer is out there too. I also ordered the 3-disc set of Antiviral from Severin. I already have Delicatessen on 4K from studio canal.
The Keep and Sliver were bit "targets" for me too! I added them to my Congo and Blood Tracks order...Mr Goodbar I am on the fence about and I kind spent my whole wad on the other 2 lol
@@AVAPopCulture I'm surprised I've never seen it! I would have been 11 when it came out, and I remember kids talking about it in highschool years later.
I was on their site watching countdown hoping for The Keep and was stoked when it was there. Had my order in minutes. Glad it was another Synapse server fiasco! LOL. Same here with The Keep. Have not seen it since VHS. I read the back in school and loved it and other F Paul Wilson books
Id be surprised if they did another one after they did it back in July... they might but it would be a hard sell to tell people that they found even more long lost copies lol
Back when they did that they had the discs as replacement discs for defected ones. They had to seek special arrangements with the rights holder to release additional out.
@@jjchmiel78 Crazy sometimes how those rights issues work! Would be nice if they could provide more product to larger group of consumers that missed out on the ltd ed set and regular editions. I'm a person that doesn't need a fancy slipcase for very release. Sometimes, just give a bare-bones good quality release and I'm happy. I grew up with rad and really wanted it. But it sold out quick. @@screamingeekmedia Mill Creek does have a standard Blu-ray edition. I got my VS 4K with the Lenticular slip during the initial run. It is a good movie and one I forgot until I watched and instant childhood memories.
Happy to see THE KEEP coming out for fans. But always thought the film was horrible. And no director's cut was gonna save it. Synapse/Red Shirt is putting out .. HUNTER'S BLOOD. That one I'm definitely excited about.
THANK YOU! Yes they blew their load on all the best titles they could get a hold of with the Cinematographe line. When it first started I was planning to collect them like I do the VSU line. These last few months ended that. Just what? I have subscribed to VS for 3 years now and I don't think I will next year. The most interesting titles anymore generally tend to not be part of the subscription. Then with all the sales they do anymore with better deals than a subscriber I think I will be better off.
I have considered doing a half-year subscription which was under $500 this year... I would have gotten Delirium, Mr Goodbar, The Keep, Sliver, Blood Tracks, Tenant, Howling II, and Bloodbath at House of Death which would have been over $325 bought separately by themselves...since I didnt have it, I bought The Keep, Sliver, Howling II, and Blood Tracks ONLY and those came out to be about $150 or so... Ive been on the fence about even trying the half year!
Like you I have the Shout Lifeforce release. I will wait for your review before I purchase just for the extra 15 minutes in 4K. Perfectly happy with my Vinegar Syndrome TCM2 release. Cruising will be interested in importing. Over the Top I am interested in.

50$ for a single movie and everyone seems to be buying it at that price. Prices will never come down if they sell at that price. We're doomed.
