    Trying out vietnamese spring rolls using the air fryer. Not as crispy as frying them in oil, but a healthier alternative!

    Nice video. The only thing I would have done differently is to take a bite and let people hear the crunch sound.

    Thank you Sara, they look delicious. I was wondering how the spring rolls would go in an air fryer, now I know, 😉

    Thanks for the recipe! I just made it. Can you give me some advice. The skin of the spring rolls is really tough and quite chewy / hard. Do I need to add more water or less?

      Oh ok, next time maybe you want to try soaking the rice paper longer, brush on more oil half way through cooking, and cook on a higher temperature on the air fryer. Hope it works out for you!

    Captions that are the DIRECTIONS are way too small and zip by wat too fast. I watched but still don't know how long at what temp to air fry😢😛😥

      Hi, I haven't tried this yet. But I'm thinking of doing that too! I'll be making some today, I'll let you know afterwards 🙂

      I’ll often double or triple batch the filling, freeze flat in ziplocks and pull then when needed. Then you only need roll and fry…just a thought

    Instead of air fryer, can I use my oven instead? Will that also work?

    • @SarasBuffet
      @SarasBuffet  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think you'll get the same crispy texture in an oven. Probably better to shallow fry them in oil if you don't have an fryer 😊
