Great video, I love your camera angle and explanation. Great idea, towing your camera behind you! The theory chapter ties it all together with a very clear animated drawing. Anyone wishing to try Windsurfing should watch this before they get in the water. Nicely done! 👍
👍 That was well described and shown and as I'd learnt how to Windsurf almost half a century ago and opened my own Windsurfing school 4•5×years later I found it very easy to describe all of the actions myself during the tuition of my customers.
Thanks Patrick! The steering technique is the same but without the centre fin it will be easier to steer downwind and harder to go upwind. With the centre fin it's easier to go upwind (because you get more lift) but harder to go downwind (because of the extra resistance).

Awesome, best video so far on how to steer, great job
Thanks :)
Damn near pissed myself laughing, great video. Thanks that made my day, and was very informative. Steering should go alot easier now. Cheers
Best video I have seen for a beginner
Thanks Joshua
Excellent video, thanks!
Will try it tomorrow ☺️
So very helpful!
Great video. Are there any points on steering when starting to windsurf without a center fin? Or are all the points are same as with a center fin.
