2 things . 1. Loft down on the 910 2. Looks like she wasn’t swinging her normal swing with the 910 she was trying too hard to get the smash up causing a more wild swing .
With modern pricing, my 7.5* 915 D3 will have to be pried from my cold dead hands. The spin rate comment makes sense as that is the reason behind me going to 7.5*. Also, the D3 back in the day was 445cc instead of 460cc, which I prefer. Golf shafts make a huge difference and is worth the upgrade price if getting fitted.
It wasn’t just the weight of the shaft but also the shaft profile. That particular Project X was considered one of the most boardy shafts back in the day. And the DI is known to be a bit softer in comparison. I think if the AD DI was in the 910 D2 the distance would still be shorter but that dispersion would be significantly tighter maybe more so than the TSR2. The 910 was know to be one of the straightest driver titleist made. And the TSR2 was said to be closer in spec to the TSi3 so the specs aren’t complete apples to apples. I think the best comparison would have been the 910 D2 with a Diamana made for Kai’Li.
Interesting comparison folks! I gamed a Titleist 910D2 during 2010/2012 and it was solid albeit a little spinny. Nonetheless, Titleist has upped their game with the TSR2. BTW, Emma can really bring it. Very impressive swing and numbers.
