Thank you so much for this video. I am going to get the 120 and this basically gave me all the answers for what I need on my boat. Thanks again for the video, it was super useful!
I’ve had mine for 3 years now , fyi I just replaced all electrical wiring throughout. All fittings replaced as well..absolutely wonderful platform I love her. I fish ICWW and only 1/2 mile offshore, that being said if your in salt water use the grease
So I purchased a Vibe Shearwater 125 with the bixpy motor and after having it for the better of 8 months, I am completely convinced that I made the wrong purchase. So this Autopilot 136 is on the list to buy as soon as possible. Thanks for your video. Reelentless Fishing
Thanks for the video and set up ideas. I am about to take the plunge this spring with the AP 120. I have converted my utility trailer for dual purpose. I went with the bunk boards instead of PVC. Seems most videos show PVC and run then in the slots in the hull. I liked the thought of bunks better. I saw someone asked about the distance you have yours set apart., but I didn't see any follow up with the measurements. Does it ride nice there on the flat surface? Did you try the bunks in the slots on the hull. Seems it may be a tight fit with the curvature of the slots? I'm sure you are busy and hard to reply to all, but any info would be awesome!! Thanks!
Congrats on the AP 120, you are going to love it! We would definitely recommend taking them off for travel. Old Town has a nice design that makes putting the motor in and taking it out quick and easy, so in the interest of avoiding total disaster we'd take them out when trailering. Better safe than really, really sorry.
Thanks for getting back to me. I’ll definitely take those off. I like your trailer! What size is it? And how long does your battery typically last? Thanks Great channel!
I love the setup, however, with those horizontal rods there's no way you can troll for King Salmon in lake Michigan or I would imagine for almost any large fish anywhere.
Love to hear it. The Feel Free kayaks are great too. We always recommend starting out in what feels comfortable until you learn how you to fish from your kayak and what type of water you find yourself in most. You can really hone in on what you like about kayak fishing as you learn and typically customers' second kayak purchases are far more particular and long-term. You can't really go wrong in any fishing kayak though.
Thank you so much for this video!! I just got my Garmin and trying to figure out how to install on my Autopilot. Please tell me where I can buy the plugs you have in your scupper holes!! I’ve lost so many tungsten weight while rigging up my Texas rigs down those little holes. God bless you and keep those fabulous videos coming 😎
Did you wire up the lights yourself? What battery should I get for the trolling motor? Want to figure out everything I should buy before buying the rig
Do you use an additional anchor on the back of the AP 136? There was another video that was posted that mentioned that in high winds, the back of the kayak will sway. Do you have any suggestions ? I fish in an area that has some high winds on some days. Thanks
MY WIFE PURCHASED MINE AUGUST 31ST THROUGH ECO FISHING. SHE BOUGHT ME THE AUTOPILOT 120 IM SUPPOSE TO BE GETTING IT LATE OCTOBER JUST IN TIME FOR FALL FISHING. VERY VERY SUPER EXCITED 😄 CANT WAIT TO GET IT. ITS MY BIRTHDAY GIFT 🎁 🤪
I’m planning on gettin the same setup for the most part, only real thing I’m worried about is the sturdiness of that fish finder mount, I been looking at others that are shorter an bulkier, that one looks kind of finicky, just curious how it does for you, also did you have to drill the holes for the small white deck lights? That’s a really great idea
Great video I just bought 136 auto pilot today from ECO fishing people say it is to heavy that means the kayak is solid just got to get to gym and lift heavier weights lol suck it buttercup lol 😂
Lol. "There's water in my cup holder" love when I hear that one.. Hey bro she's beautiful. I have my Oldtown 120. This sport and kayaks now are becoming like a one man bass boat. I love all my toys, add-ons, accessories. It's my 1st kayak and last. I'll never get rid of her, and no reason to upgrade. I waited over a year for mine. They should have kayak shows now. That setup is awsome bro. Great job.. 👍 🙏 🎣 😎
I'm in the market for an autopilot 120. Do know a resource or anyone that is selling one used? I know that's a crazy question, but, crazy times. Can't afford a boat so this kayak is the next option, thanks!
If you secure the motor properly you should be able to transport it this way. Use caution and protect the motor from moving at all and any potential debris that could kick up. It is hard to give a concrete answer, but we recommend taking a short trip at lower speeds to watch for movement and to check how secure it is after a small trip. Your AutoPilot is a big investment so being overly cautious while you test it is a good way to start.
When charging your batteries for your Garmin and lights system are you having to remove the batteries to charge? And where did you buy your keel Guard?
They do make stern mounted live-wells that use the scupper holes to pump fresh water in and out, so a kitchen sink does seem like a plausible accessory in the near future!
Talk about the trailer ! I love it

Agreed. I see my account balance getting smaller just watching this video.
Thanks for sharing. Nice setup. I just got my 120AP.
That rod holder is great buddy.

I can’t speak for the vibe but I can say 100% the autopilot is a great boat!
A Battleship I like that, Iv Got the 120 version and love it, it's changed my fishing experience Tight lines
Thats the rod holder I was asking about, perfect! Thank's for that video!

I no longer run the boards. I actually switched to pvc shortly after which imo helped with loading it back on the trailer.
I’m picking up my AP 120 this Friday! Was wondering if you take your fish finder and motor off when trailering down the road? Thanks
Congrats on the AP 120, you are going to love it! We would definitely recommend taking them off for travel. Where did you get that trailer? That’s a very nice trailer. That’s what I am looking for!
Is that trailer a yak trailer or something else?
It’s just a jet ski trailer
I love the setup, however, with those horizontal rods there's no way you can troll for King Salmon in lake Michigan or I would imagine for almost any large fish anywhere.
Love your shop and when I can I’m buying that kayac but for now the feel free I got from you all is perfect

Looks like it can hold a lot of spinning rods! Lol
But seriously this is an awesome breakdown. Love that rod holder.
You guys and your spinning gear 🤷🏻♂️

What kind of trailer do you have for the AP 136?
Did you wire up the lights yourself? What battery should I get for the trolling motor? Want to figure out everything I should buy before buying the rig
Yes I wired all the lights myself. I run a 100Ah Dakota Lithium for my motor.
I think I got my mind made up. I'm going for the 13.6.
One question tho. What kind of trailer is that and Where can I get one.
What size trolling motor battery? How long will it last?
very well rigged ap136 man! absolutely love it
Thank you.

@ecofishing. What is the trailer? Please elaborate on this.
Where did you get your trailer? Was it a custom build?
I have a trailer ordered for my AP136. Can you tell me the distance apart of your bunks on center?
I can unfortunately I headed out of town today. I definitely can when I get back home though
@@lonestarkayakfishing no worries. My trailer is still 2-4 weeks out 🤬
@@davidstemm9059 when I make it home I’ll definitely get you the dimensions
I noticed when you installed your garmin the transducer mount was orange now it's black. Did you change the mount?
Yes we did. To one from yak gear.
@@ecofishingshop any reason why??

where did u get the trailer for your autopilot 136
Where were you fishing?
What are those extension blocks for your seat?
They just make the seat sit higher. You can find them at yak hobby or Navarre kayak fishing

Nice setup
what trailer do you use? i need one loading mine is a pain i have 120 pdl
It’s a 14ft jet ski trailer
As a wildlife photographer... how do you think this would work? Dry storage aside.
crazy good, being able to make the adjustments and positioning for the right shot would be great 📸
What trailer are you using?
Was just looking at 136AP on your site then your rigging void popped up. Must be a sign. You didn't mention what battery you're running for motor.
Would you mind mentioning what the approximate total price is of the complete setup you have?
Approximately $7500-$8500 with a trailer, depending on the trailer
Where did you get that trailer
This is a custom trailer and isn't available for purchase through us unfortunately.
I’d love to see the video of 3.5’ waves, and 40mph winds.
Nice rig brother
Such an awesome rig!
We think so too!
So is it a tank or a battleship? A tank would sink.
Sold!
What’s the range on this thing how many miles?
Depends on which battery you run!
😅what’s the name of the trailer
When charging your batteries for your Garmin and lights system are you having to remove the batteries to charge?
And where did you buy your keel Guard?
What sunglasses are you wearing
A pair of Smith sunglasses. A lot of anglers swear by these things! ecofishingshop.com/collections/smith
Good Vid man🤙
Thank you
take a drink every time he says "a lot of people" or "some people"
Always fun making some games. Our personal favorite is when people tell us, and our customers, to "just buy a boat!"
Where's the kitchen sink?
They do make stern mounted live-wells that use the scupper holes to pump fresh water in and out, so a kitchen sink does seem like a plausible accessory in the near future!
I wish I could win this beautiful kayak
where did you get the scupper plugs from?
Amazon I believe.
