Heavy armor + Thrusting Sword + Moores greatshield helped me finally beat prime Radahn. The high guard boost of Moores shield ended up being a better choice for the fight than the finger shield. Talismans were all defensive and stamina regen.
Yeah, from a lot of what I'm seeing from other guys' playthroughs, shield + thrusting weapon seems to be the most effective strategy for playing the dlc. Unfortunately for me, that's not how I want to play the game lol

I am a thorough fucker. So far have not missed any quest. I was able to figure a lot of them out through trial and error. You can get both Thiollier's and Ansbach's armor set, weapons, and bell bearings without summoning them to final boss fight. After resting at the grace they will be found behind you. Assuming you have done their quest's so they can be summoned to the final boss fiight.
I used a high faith build against Radahn. Surprise, surprise, he's weak to scarlet rot. I used Melania's Flower incantation and it helped with steady damage in both phases. Scarlet Rot and bleed will get him down pretty easily. Took me about 10 - 15 tries.

If you guys are wanting to fight the Ghostflame Dragon, and have the Golden Epitaph leveled up, it does insane damage to the Ghostflame dragon and his little army of undead that he summons. Literally 7 or 8 hits and the dragon was dead.

I kinda discover where St Trina is and looked up a guide on what to do with her, turn out if you go talk to Thiollier after discovering her you can tell him where St Trina whereabouts are completely skipping his whole questline and make him go to where St Trina is

This is the only part of the game i don't like. They punish you by exploring the land only for the rune to break and missed a lot of the quest with no warning at all. That is just a messy oversight.
Bloodfiend Arm +25 with Cragblade ash of war (it is for buffin), bleed infusion. Commander standard for buffing. Dagger with Golden Vow. Amulets: Blade of Mercy, Dragoncrest greatshield, Axe Talisman, Two handed Sword Talisman +19 blessing. Strategy is to look for openings to hit Radahn with charged R2's. This is to bleed and stagger him. I also used Holyproof Pickled Letter for the 2nd phase as it buffs holy damage negation by a large amount. With all of this and using mimic, it still took many tries. But it was a solid strat. A better player than me, can probably do it faster. Took me about 90 minutes after I changed to that build.

Very important to note: you need to summon both Thiollier and Sir Ansbach with the fight against Leda, otherwise they will not be available for Radahn. I found out the hard way..
Well, great. I fought all the bosses except for Radahn and now it seems like I locked myself out from his quest cause this guy is not in the Pillar path cross...
For radahn use a fingerprint shield with a lance or “sword lance” with blood affinity on the ash of war “crag blade” on it I beat him first try with this
I can't believe I had to turn into a shield player to beat several bosses in this DLC 😂 especially this last one he's a nightmare. Now I can't wait to do it again LMFAO😂
Any idea where Thioller's at? I just got down here and he's not here. I just beat mesmmer, bayle, the sunflower boss, and the abysal forest boss, coulda swore I've been hitting these side quests right, but maybe the choice between Thioller or Horn is where I messed up. *Edit - I thought he was gone, but I just needed to talk to him again and get the prompt he's heading south. Now he's here. :S
Edit: I understand i f'ed up him questline but shouldn't he be dead somewhere at least not just 100% missing. I'm confused. (I did go the "wrong" way through the DLC tho) I found most if not all of the NPCs in the early game, talked to Thiollier and Moore and handed over the syrup to Thiollier and bought stuff off him at Pillar Path Cross, But then I apparently did something horrible by exploring (this was like 5hours into the DLC, and it took me over 60 hours because I take my damn time) and I visited the shaded castle and broke the rune or whatever, Thiollier said he was moving, then later he was replaced with a note saying he was moving... I then went back to the game doing EVERY boss I could find except the final boss, Putrecent Knight was like the 4th to last boss I did and I never found Thiollier, he isn't in St. Trina's room or anywhere else I've seen I should look. (PS: In the NPC gangbang fight Ansbach was my only possible summon and Thiollier was the only NPC I remember meeting that wasn't there at all (excluding the Grandam).) Edit2: hmm... I remember now, the first times I tried the Putrecents Knight I could get help from Thiollier (I didn't notice it was him) but when I came back much later and stronger his summoning sign was missing... so is it the NPCs gangbang fight that killed this questline for me ?
Hey shatter I just found your channel after a frantic search through TH-cam. I explored too much early on and made an event occur that made many early npcs disappear. I was wondering if you had any advice. I’m on ng3 lvl 310 and doing a whole new play through sounds painful
Chances are that most of them just moved and did not disappear entirely. Some early steps might be missed but you should be able to complete most of their quests still.
I think I messed up the whole quest because thiollier is by st. Trina now and both of the npcs at main gate cross are gone I couldn’t even get the black syrup
So what happens if thioller isn’t at st Trina’s? I’m at the “you know what” boss after beating Leda and her allies fight and idk if that locked me out of the quest or not
When I talked to Moore he never mentiond Thiollier. I went on and progressed the quest as normal, at the end I got all his stuff (except for his potion, which I hard-missed due to not interacting with Moore at the time it was requiered, which fucking sucks how on Earth was I supposed to know).

Brother i need your 'all quest in order' series asap, like years ago. The other TH-camrs videos are so lackluster and misinformed. I think a lot of people are just waiting for these guides and not even progressing the dlc including me and my friends
@@ItsShatter Note about Moore quest for your part 1, if you drop a warming stone on the injured forager brood behind church of crusade before breaking the great rune, reload the game, the forager brood/pest will give you a cookbook. Next, if you speak with Moore afterwards, he will give you another cookbook and thank you for helping it. Also for the series as a whole, might be helpful -because there’s so many choices that can alter outcomes and rewards- to do a ng+ run at the end to complete the alternate choices of quests for the rewards. I’ll deff be doing ng+ on multiple characters because I want both rewards for certain quests. Thanks again for all your work and assistance.
For the dragon priestess just approach her at night after you talk to her for the first time. Give her the concoction and then whenever she wakes up later tell her what you did. After defeating Bayle you can speak to her again and get her as a summon.
You don't need to talk with the NPC first... you could die to St. Trina 3 times talk to npc after it will not break the questline. Only do it before burning the tree
@@shadowlegend738 thank you for that. I thought I messed up the quest line by talking to St. Trina two or three times before even meeting up Throller. Just like how I messed up with Boggart in the main base game.
Can confirm, I managed to talk to them at the first spot but sprinted around the map and caused him to be in the fissure location. Barely realized I might have screwed something up at burning the tree and doubled back. Was a little buggy but once I died a few times to the nectar, everything came in to line with the video. Thought I was screwed like Ansbach/Freya where I happened to find him first and not Freya. Hoping that I still have Ansbach for the final show down 😅
For the final boss of the dlc: Great shield with some Holy resistant talismans and Bull Goat poise, and Antspur rapier (put a cold ash of war on it). The boss is weak to frost and Rot, and a cold infused antspur rapier will have both. Then you just block and poke him and let the rot do its’ job. Good luck!
Fun fact; you never actually need to find the rocks on the sealed spirit spring. You can use Margit's Shackle on them and they open up. This is because weapon you break the rock the the springs registors a hit for zero damage, which is the condition to open. Margins ahackle also counts as a hit for zero damage.
An easy way to beat rahdan is using the lightning perfume bottle with the rolling sparks ash of war on it at level 24 or 25. Whatever seal you want to use but will need 1 for howl of stability and golden vow. Armor is a black dumpling helm(raises attack power when madness is proct near), and the rest is the rakshasa armor set besides helm. Warrior's shard/Shard of alexander, perfumers talisman, lightning scorpion talisman, and aged ones exaltation. Wondrous flask will have the bloodsucking cracked tear and lightning shroud cracked tear. My stats are Vigor 60, Mind 25, endurance 46, strength 42, Dexterity 46, intelligence 21, faith 80, arcane 27. Now those are my stats when I'm posting this, but all you need is mostly faith at 80 for the damage of the perfume. All you need to do is dodge till there's an opening and look at rahdans feet, take a Pic, then start spamming the ash of war. 1 press and went straight into phase 2, do the same thing in phase 2 as soon as the cutscene transitions. It took time 3 ashes of war to instantly kill him and flex at the win
@praisebethelight true, but it's still pretty good against big enemies like the hippo and other huge enemies, just used the lightning flask to beat the mother of hands with it easily
So, fortunatelly, you find their buddies even if you fight without them. I tried with them at first, but not summoning them really made the boss fight quite easy. Praise the comment, so to speak, healing required ahead
I have some advise for Radahn (in case any of this can help): 1. Thrusting sword with Raptor Ash (to completely dodge the Nuke in second phase) and Frost (damage burst and 20% extra damage from debuff) 2. Shield with 100% phys. just in case (i used the golden beast greatshield and brass shield). 3. Heavy armor, dragon greatshield talisman, golden braid talisman, pot arsenal talisman and high scadu level. 4. +10 mimic summon Now for tactics: 1. Always dodge towards his front and take time learning the first phase moveset,as barely anything changes. 2. The rockthrow can be dodged by running sideways and jumping last second. 3. The meteor drop at low health can be avoided by sprinting towards the towers where the boss starts. Some bugs i have encountered: 1. Sometime the light explosion combo finisher is slightly delayed, making it near undodgable. 2. While on an incline the Lasers from swordswings can spawn right in front of Radahn. Attack to heal at: First phase: rock throw, shockwave combo finisher, forward wave combo finisher, human rocket and frontflip. Second phase: as above plus the Grab and nuke. Lastly: if you struggle with Timing or attacks look up a no hit run as they can be really helpfull for that.
Jumping the blue flame is easier than dodge rolling. I feel like half or more of the bosses in the DLC have a move or 2 that is better to jump than roll which I way more than the base game.
F i have never spoken to thiolier n alr defeated all bosses except radhagon, could still here some voicelines from the flower lady by killing myself but dont know if it works out for the rest cause thiolier is vanished
You will still need to do a ng+. So far ive completed each quest line from my understanding but some questlines rewards are selective so you dont get all rewards
So I selected “Say nothing” to Leda when she wants to kill Thiollier, and she ended up just killing Hornsent! 😡 Great video! Please present your lord, his elegance, Mashmellow for a public cat inspection.
Yeah I think she picks to go after Hornsent no matter what you do or say. If you say Thiollier she will just say that she disagrees and that he is not worth going after.

So the rune can break even if you don’t go into the shadow keep. It broke for me when crossing the second bridge east of Bonny Village.

Moore moved as I got “great rune broken message” before I could get the black syrup any other way to get it or can I get it from him later?

When I talked to Moore he never mentiond Thiollier. I went on and progressed the quest as normal, at the end I got all his stuff (except for his potion, which I hard-missed due to not interacting with Moore at the time it was requiered, which fucking sucks how on Earth was I supposed to know).

Brother i need your 'all quest in order' series asap, like years ago. The other TH-camrs videos are so lackluster and misinformed. I think a lot of people are just waiting for these guides and not even progressing the dlc including me and my friends

@@ItsShatter Note about Moore quest for your part 1, if you drop a warming stone on the injured forager brood behind church of crusade before breaking the great rune, reload the game, the forager brood/pest will give you a cookbook. Next, if you speak with Moore afterwards, he will give you another cookbook and thank you for helping it.
Also for the series as a whole, might be helpful -because there’s so many choices that can alter outcomes and rewards- to do a ng+ run at the end to complete the alternate choices of quests for the rewards. I’ll deff be doing ng+ on multiple characters because I want both rewards for certain quests. Thanks again for all your work and assistance.

Can confirm that you do not need to summon Thioller for the final fight to obtain all rewards for the quest. Hope this helps.

For the dragon priestess just approach her at night after you talk to her for the first time. Give her the concoction and then whenever she wakes up later tell her what you did. After defeating Bayle you can speak to her again and get her as a summon.
do you still get her weapon and heart if you give her the concoction ?

You don't need to talk with the NPC first... you could die to St. Trina 3 times talk to npc after it will not break the questline. Only do it before burning the tree

@@shadowlegend738 thank you for that. I thought I messed up the quest line by talking to St. Trina two or three times before even meeting up Throller. Just like how I messed up with Boggart in the main base game.
Can confirm, I managed to talk to them at the first spot but sprinted around the map and caused him to be in the fissure location. Barely realized I might have screwed something up at burning the tree and doubled back. Was a little buggy but once I died a few times to the nectar, everything came in to line with the video. Thought I was screwed like Ansbach/Freya where I happened to find him first and not Freya. Hoping that I still have Ansbach for the final show down 😅
For the final boss of the dlc: Great shield with some Holy resistant talismans and Bull Goat poise, and Antspur rapier (put a cold ash of war on it). The boss is weak to frost and Rot, and a cold infused antspur rapier will have both. Then you just block and poke him and let the rot do its’ job. Good luck!

Fun fact; you never actually need to find the rocks on the sealed spirit spring. You can use Margit's Shackle on them and they open up.
This is because weapon you break the rock the the springs registors a hit for zero damage, which is the condition to open. Margins ahackle also counts as a hit for zero damage.

An easy way to beat rahdan is using the lightning perfume bottle with the rolling sparks ash of war on it at level 24 or 25. Whatever seal you want to use but will need 1 for howl of stability and golden vow. Armor is a black dumpling helm(raises attack power when madness is proct near), and the rest is the rakshasa armor set besides helm. Warrior's shard/Shard of alexander, perfumers talisman, lightning scorpion talisman, and aged ones exaltation. Wondrous flask will have the bloodsucking cracked tear and lightning shroud cracked tear. My stats are Vigor 60, Mind 25, endurance 46, strength 42, Dexterity 46, intelligence 21, faith 80, arcane 27. Now those are my stats when I'm posting this, but all you need is mostly faith at 80 for the damage of the perfume. All you need to do is dodge till there's an opening and look at rahdans feet, take a Pic, then start spamming the ash of war. 1 press and went straight into phase 2, do the same thing in phase 2 as soon as the cutscene transitions. It took time 3 ashes of war to instantly kill him and flex at the win

@praisebethelight true, but it's still pretty good against big enemies like the hippo and other huge enemies, just used the lightning flask to beat the mother of hands with it easily
So, fortunatelly, you find their buddies even if you fight without them. I tried with them at first, but not summoning them really made the boss fight quite easy.

I have some advise for Radahn (in case any of this can help):
1. Thrusting sword with Raptor Ash (to completely dodge the Nuke in second phase) and Frost (damage burst and 20% extra damage from debuff)
2. Shield with 100% phys. just in case (i used the golden beast greatshield and brass shield).
3. Heavy armor, dragon greatshield talisman, golden braid talisman, pot arsenal talisman and high scadu level.
4. +10 mimic summon
Now for tactics:
1. Always dodge towards his front and take time learning the first phase moveset,as barely anything changes.
2. The rockthrow can be dodged by running sideways and jumping last second.
3. The meteor drop at low health can be avoided by sprinting towards the towers where the boss starts.
Some bugs i have encountered:
1. Sometime the light explosion combo finisher is slightly delayed, making it near undodgable.
2. While on an incline the Lasers from swordswings can spawn right in front of Radahn.
Attack to heal at:
First phase: rock throw, shockwave combo finisher, forward wave combo finisher, human rocket and frontflip.
Second phase: as above plus the Grab and nuke.
Lastly: if you struggle with Timing or attacks look up a no hit run as they can be really helpfull for that.
Jumping the blue flame is easier than dodge rolling. I feel like half or more of the bosses in the DLC have a move or 2 that is better to jump than roll which I way more than the base game.
Sealed spiritsprings can be unlock if you use Morgott's item no need to look for the lock. I forgot the name.
F i have never spoken to thiolier n alr defeated all bosses except radhagon, could still here some voicelines from the flower lady by killing myself but dont know if it works out for the rest cause thiolier is vanished
I really hate the fact that u always have to kill the final boss in this dlc to complete a side quest...
I can confirm that you do not need to summon tiholier for the fight (or at least not on your winning attempt) for him to drop his weapon and armor

So far ive completed each quest line from my understanding but some questlines rewards are selective so you dont get all rewards
Do a blind playthrough for your first time
If you buy all of Thiollier's items, they'll b ebb like "Umm... Just give the word if you need any more poison" 😂
So I selected “Say nothing” to Leda when she wants to kill Thiollier, and she ended up just killing Hornsent! 😡

Yeah I think she picks to go after Hornsent no matter what you do or say. If you say Thiollier she will just say that she disagrees and that he is not worth going after.
