72 year old man and I make my own with the berries...I know some people don't like the pulp in it, but i think the same people LOVE dried cranberries...

I served both kinds on Thanksgiving and every one picked this homemade version over the popular store brand. Using a can made it so they could t tell by the look.
It’s slightly sweeter and had so much more flavor. Thank you!! A new family favorite!

My family loved this! I made a triple batch and it gave me 3 and a half jars. It comes together so quickly and the flavor is delicious. Certainly more flavorful than store bought. I'll definitely be making it every Thanksgiving and Christmas!

I did this recipe. It wasn’t messy. I used the cinnamon stick and orange rinds. I forgot and chucked everything into the cook and it still came out perfectly. It was very easy. Only 1 pack of cranberries which cost about $1 at Winco. I support the content creator. Good work.

So good. This was my second year making it. A little extra work but totally worth it. Also, the leftover pulp you have from using the sieve- you can make fruit leather!! Just spread on a parchment lined pan and bake on ovens lowest temp for an hour or 2 (ovens vary). I cut mine into strips to make homemade fruit roll ups lol

Extremely easy to prepare. This was my first time to make a cooked jelled cranberry sauce. The recipe was altered by reducing the sweetener (I used Allulose) by 1/4 cup, ginger to 1/4 teaspoon and 4 drops of Sweet Drops Vanilla Flavoring was added after the cooking was done. I also used an immersion blender which made a smoother texture. The flavor of the the orange zest seemed to be more dominate but overall the flavor was delicious. Thank you for sharing.

I do this without blending it because I prefer the texture. I'm going to put it in a small ring mold this year.

@sigsputnik1 I did it again, this year. I unmolded it onto a footed pedestal and garnished with a ring of fresh rosemary and cranberries.

Whole cranberries are a cold and flu season antioxidant super food. Just a little ginger, cinnamon and all spice counter balance the tart and bitter. If that doesn't do it just add maple syrup or vanilla too. Whole cranberry sauce over cream cheese on crackers is the perfect snack or appetizer.

Just made this for my frinedsgiving tomorrow. I will never buy canned Cranberry sauce again. I used powdered cinnamon. Use my immersion blender vs a food processor and it came out beautifully smooth. I did x2 the recipe and had about a 1/4 of a cup the did not fit in to the container I choose. I blended it with about 16 oz of warm water. Squeeze half an orange in it then poored it over ice in a exta large cup. Real tasty Orange Cranberry drink.

The only thing I changed was I did a quarter cup orange juice and a quarter cup water to give even more orange flavor. Thanks for the idea to make my cranberry sauce Jellied! Happy Thanksgiving! ✌💖

I don’t know if I’m going to be able to wait for the turkey! This is definitely so much better than store bought.
I will add a time saving tip instead of using the food processor and strainer I just used my immersion blender. Less clean up to worry about and I definitely have a full can of delicious cranberry sauce to enjoy

Yes, you can! I've done a bunch while cranberries are fresh & affordable. I steam can mine (same times as waterbath canning just a lot less water involved) It works like a charm! It's high acid so no worries canning the way I do. Search youtube with "canning cranberry sauce". Lots of good videos. God bless you & yours & Merry Christmas!

Citrus fruits have even more natural pectin than cranberries. So they would probably work but might need different amounts of sugar and water.
