My family loved this! I made a triple batch and it gave me 3 and a half jars. It comes together so quickly and the flavor is delicious. Certainly more flavorful than store bought. I'll definitely be making it every Thanksgiving and Christmas!
I served both kinds on Thanksgiving and every one picked this homemade version over the popular store brand. Using a can made it so they could t tell by the look. It’s slightly sweeter and had so much more flavor. Thank you!! A new family favorite!
72 year old man and I make my own with the berries...I know some people don't like the pulp in it, but i think the same people LOVE dried cranberries...
Thanks for the recipe I have a collection of ur recipes handwritten & typed up also been following you since 2016 love love love ur TH-cam channels!❤ thanks love! ❤
Wonderful recipe. Thank you so much! I did exactly every steps and it did jellified like canned, which is not available at my place. A little bit sweet for me so I add a tsp of lemon juice 🥰
Just made this for my frinedsgiving tomorrow. I will never buy canned Cranberry sauce again. I used powdered cinnamon. Use my immersion blender vs a food processor and it came out beautifully smooth. I did x2 the recipe and had about a 1/4 of a cup the did not fit in to the container I choose. I blended it with about 16 oz of warm water. Squeeze half an orange in it then poored it over ice in a exta large cup. Real tasty Orange Cranberry drink.
Whole cranberries are a cold and flu season antioxidant super food. Just a little ginger, cinnamon and all spice counter balance the tart and bitter. If that doesn't do it just add maple syrup or vanilla too. Whole cranberry sauce over cream cheese on crackers is the perfect snack or appetizer.
I JUST finished making this cranberry jelly and it is currently in my refrigerator chilling.... It tastes amazing and I am so excited it eat it later! The only thing I changed was I did a quarter cup orange juice and a quarter cup water to give even more orange flavor. Thanks for the idea to make my cranberry sauce Jellied! Happy Thanksgiving! ✌💖
Oh Laura, this has brought back memories. This is very similar to what my Mom would make. Thank you for sharing this recipe with us. I will surprise my sister and make this as she is hosting Thanksgiving this year. I am so excited and grateful for this recipe. I have tears in my eyes. Thank you, Laura 🥰😋
I am making this!!! And i will be buying the can of jellied to have my husband do a comparison. He never had cranberry sauce growing up, and now has to have it on holiday. So i think this will be fun. And im assuming its even better. Not one of your recipes have led me wrong. Thank you for that!!!❤
OMG… game changer for sure. I always make home made chunky style which I love and yes eat warm with a spoon as soon as it’s done, but I always have to get the canned for my guys and my sister. I cannot wait to make this delicious jellied one. Thank you so much for this amazing recipe. ❤️😋
I love watching you. I haven’t watched you in a long time a lot of things going on and I am so thankful for you sharing with this because I am like you I like both but My Grandson absolutely loves the gel so I’m gonna make this for him. I just have to make a whole lot because me and him we can eat two jars at one time we are cranberry lovers so thank you so much and you guys have a wonderful holiday.
That looks awesome! I have made cranberry sauce many times, but I wind up eating most of it. I definitely want to try this! You have good reason to be proud over your creation!
I love cranberry sauce. I usually make it, and I do prefer the whole cranberry version. I'm going to have to try this though. I'll need to make a triple batch, because I'll eat one by myself.
OMG! Now that’s what I call cranberry sauce! I’m so going to make some. I made my own last year but there was way too much of an orange flavor. This recipe sounds perfect.
Thank you for sharing. First time seeing the jellied recipe. Looks delicious. I don’t like store bought cranberries or sauce. Once I tried homemade cranberries, that’s what I make now.
I'm a big jelly fan. I'm wondering if there are any other fruits, besides cranberries, where I don't need jelly powder to get the same consistency as yours. And if so, can I use the same recipe? I wish you many more good recipes. Greetings from Slovenia. 😊🌹❤
I don’t know if I’m going to be able to wait for the turkey! This is definitely so much better than store bought. I will add a time saving tip instead of using the food processor and strainer I just used my immersion blender. Less clean up to worry about and I definitely have a full can of delicious cranberry sauce to enjoy
Hi Laura, merry Christmas to you and your family. What did I do wrong, I made this recipe, put in a can, just like you did, overnight in the fridge, took it out to slice it but it is just jelly, I can't slice it like you did. What went wrong, but it tases amazing, thank you so very much
Looks perfect! I always save leftover cranberry jelly/compote saucefor more than turkey. It tastes *great* with pork chops, bacon, chicken, and with plain yogurt.
Can you make a video making it using dried cranberries instead of fresh. I like the way yours turned out but I have a bunch of dried cranberries and was trying to see what I can do with them
Lol using a sieve is how i make my juices in the morning along with a blender instead of an expensive juicer lol... thank you for this video Laura I've been wanting to mske my own cranberry sauce... youre the best ❤
Thank you Laura for not leaving a drop behind! I always super clean my dishes, I never leave a drop of food ! Hope all enjoy Halloween, and Thanksgiving!
i love turkey I love dressing I love stuffing i love mashed potato Laura, where does cranberry sauce fit in? we always had it every year but it has no room on my plate
My mother-in-law is the only one in our family who likes cranberry sauce, so whoever is hosting just buys a can. This makes me sad because everything else is made from scratch. MIL is actually hosting this year so I plan to tell her not to buy that canned crap because I plan to make this just for her ❤️

I do this without blending it because I prefer the texture. I'm going to put it in a small ring mold this year.
I made this tonight and let me tell you, it’s a game changer! Thanks for the recipe.
Thanks for the recipe I have a collection of ur recipes handwritten & typed up also been following you since 2016 love love love ur TH-cam channels!❤ thanks love! ❤

Oh my god i absolutely love jellied cranberries! Definitely making this for Thanksgiving! ❤
This is amazing! Perfect homemade for Thanksgiving! Thanks!

Citrus fruits have even more natural pectin than cranberries. So they would probably work but might need different amounts of sugar and water.
So you didn't strain out any pulp, just used the immersion blender?! 🤯🤯 I'll try that this year. Thanks!!
Hi Laura, merry Christmas to you and your family.

Looks perfect! I always save leftover cranberry jelly/compote saucefor more than turkey. It tastes *great* with pork chops, bacon, chicken, and with plain yogurt.

Lol using a sieve is how i make my juices in the morning along with a blender instead of an expensive juicer lol... thank you for this video Laura I've been wanting to mske my own cranberry sauce... youre the best ❤
So even if you put your cranberry through a food processor and you used ground cinnamon it'll still leave grainy texture?
THANK YOU
Laura do you put it in the fridge or freezer
This is genius, because I swear my family prefers the canned cranberry sauce over my homemade one.
Laura, you are just amazing....that's all...nothing else needs to be said :)
How long can it be kept in the refrigerator?
Very cool!❤
You can’t buy canned cranberry jelly here- so il be trying this 🇦🇺
Laura, as long as there's turkey there better be cranberry sauce. Best wishes from Northern Ireland. ❤❤❤
Hi, so I made this 2x and it didn't gel. I also only put 3/4 cup of sugar, could that have effected the out come?
Omgosh! I'm so excited to make this for Thanksgiving! Keep Thanksgiving recipes coming!!!
I love cranberry sauce and buy it because I thought making it was hard. Not anymore!!! I am going to make some this year...thank you Laura!
Looks great!
Wonderful recipe as always.
How long does this keep in the fridge?
Look great Thanks for sharing this recipe ❤
You’re so welcome!
Fantastic stuff, Laura ! 😀😀😀😀
Hi Laura, love all of your recipes! question, could we get your shrimp fried rice recipe if you have one?
looks so great. (i am convinced canned will probably do.)
Yep gonna do this for Thanksgiving 😋
I’m glad your doing thanksgiving recipes now for thanksgiving so there prepared before for TH-cam
Cranberry sauce is easy to make
Can you use less sugar?
Thank you Laura for not leaving a drop behind! I always super clean my dishes, I never leave a drop of food ! Hope all enjoy Halloween, and Thanksgiving!
can we do the same with cherries or with another fruit?
Cherries do not have very much natural pectin. You should try with fruits that have high pectin levels like citrus fruits.
Yeah I like and 1k is done 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
i love turkey
I love dressing
I love stuffing
i love mashed potato
Laura, where does cranberry sauce fit in? we always had it every year but it has no room on my plate
I lost contact your TH-cam since I downloading your chocolate ganache 9 years ago. Now I found you again. You are still young and radiant....
Oh my heart!! Thank you!
My mother-in-law is the only one in our family who likes cranberry sauce, so whoever is hosting just buys a can. This makes me sad because everything else is made from scratch. MIL is actually hosting this year so I plan to tell her not to buy that canned crap because I plan to make this just for her ❤️
How does it get jellied without gelatin
The natural pectin inside the cranberries does it.
That looks great!😸
Is there some other type of “sugar” that would be friendlier for serving diabetics?
Maybe splenda
Thank you for sharing.
Please also make Jollof rice African west African rice for TH-cam soon thanks
Now looking for food at 12 AM 🤣. You are the best, Laura!
Hahah I feel this
Lovely recipe Laura, does bring back Friends memories though… sad times ❤️😞
Oh YES gotta try this
Now you’ve done it ! I made this and now the wife only wants her cranberries this way or no way! I must admit it puts canned to shame.
Yumm🤍I'll be trying this soon!
Laura,Laura,Laura,Laura,Laura,Laura 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome recipe chef, please show Italian cannelloni and lamb chops recipe please
Cranberry sauce reminds me of Chandler bing on thanksgiving episode of friends. This video dropped today, so sad to hear of his passing ❤
Hey Laura, can agave nectar be used?
Thank you...
Yeah, yeah, yeah ✨
Our Thanksgiving is already passed 🇨🇦
But imma go to the store today to make this anyways 😂🤍
Hahaha yasssss!!❤️
I'm going to make this and not tell my dad and see if he say anything, he loves canned cranberry sauce
Girl came through again! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
You know I gotchu!
Totes trying this!
I wonder if that jelly turned like laura 🤔 bc I followed the recipe, and it didn't
What would be the result if you just pureed it more finely and skipped the tedious sieve part altogether?
Speaking of cranberry sauce- The new Ocean Spray cranberry sauce commercial is HILARIOUS!😂😂😂
Beautiful you have to have the ridges from the can 😂
Hahahah right?!!
