The thing is.. this is far from the end design and is to set the foundations for future growth. In a year or two this tree will be looking far better than the video has shown
Мне очень нравится, как вы формируете этот пышный можжевельник в элегантное дерево. Скажите пожалуйста, а зачем вы удаляете часть коры? Это только декор или есть ещё какая-то цель?
Thank you 😊 and absolutely, the bark was removed on the trunk to create what is called a shari that is found on old trees. It is to give the bonsai an aged look along with some dead branches. After being weathered for a season they will be treated to preserve them. So in a sense I guess it is like a decoration but one that gives a story to the tree.
@@НаталіяСкриник-м7п that is an excellent question, I know of the method you are talking about and for that you would have to cut all around the tree cutting of the sap flow completely to kill the tree. But here we have left alot of living xylem so the tree can still flourish 😁
Hello! I'm doing a crazy project where I'm putting a tararium INSIDE and aquarium. I want to put some sort of small woody plant. Is there a dwarf bonsai?
Hello. Sounds like a fascinating project. The common used tree for terrariums is the ginseng ficus although I don't have much experience with terrariums I do know that the tree will need lots of natural light to thrive. Or you could experiment any Keishi smallest size classification of bonsai, measuring just 1 inch (2.5 cm) in height
To the unfamiliar it may seem as a waste. But this is not the final outcome for the tree and more of setting the foundations for a bonsai to be developed further along down the line. This tree has thus work done over 2 weeks ago and is alm ready showing signs of recovery with new growth starting to emerge
And yet it would be better cared for in my hands than most peoples. I appreciate your opinion. But I hope you think about your comment the next time you have your grass cut. Trim a hedge or even receive flowers. I wish you all the best
I prefer the hanging off the table in its natural lush and richness of the plant. But that’s me.
Me to! It was beautiful!

A little beauty in the middle of this f.cked world.
That's one of the beauty's about bonsai.. it allows you to temporarily block out the outside world

Why does cut away so. much? Such a luscious plant. So much greenery wasted

You are butchering that lovely bush and forcing it into a shape demanded by a man, not the natural elements of its life.
