My heart almost stopped when I realised it was Lio who was going to fall, but seriously with such a spirited personality it was going to be him. Most people would be saying that he shouldn't have been left to climb the ladder, but I have to strongly disagree. We were raised with rules but also able to find things out the hard way. It's really not nice seeing children being over protected and hemmed in. Your children are well behaved and look really happy being able to explore. 👍❤️

Thank you so much for your kind words 😊!
It's an illusion that we can protect our children from everything, so we like to give them some leeway to experience some things for themselves. Of course, there are limits to this, for example, the children were not allowed on the scaffolding. If we regulate everything too tightly and wrap the children in absorbent cotton, they will never be independent and confident. Falling down, getting up and not crying after the fall, that's Lio! Be more careful next time? Maybe 😊.
It's great to hear that you value the balance between rules and freedom - that's exactly what we try to achieve with our parenting too.
Thank you for your support and for seeing the joy in their little adventures! ❤✨
