I grew up being discriminated by my Italian side of the family for being half Native. I wish I had been raise by my Navajo family, there is so much I like to learn and speak about.
I'm Italian. Your family did you wrong and failed in their Catholic faith. As a nation of immigrants that have gone around the world they should be ashamed! show them my comment
I am the odd man out. I have no native blood to pride, but, I feel more connection with earth than the average man. My father taught me the ways of the wild and how to be a kind steward to our mother. speaking for us all I hope some day we will be seen for who we are and what we stand for.
🙌🏼LOVE THIS🙌🏼 This stirs something deep in my soul. Was lucky to be raised by a single mama who taught my sister and I not only the TRUTH about American history but also about the First Nations. So much respect 🙌🏼♥️🙌🏼
Why would you even thumb down something this powerful? Song Transends time and space and connects us more then any other human artform. There is wisdom in this song even if you not understand the language.
Amo tanto gli Indiani d'America, i loro usi, costumi, le danze, i canti, la musica... tutte le loro tradizioni sono fantastiche! I wish i was on of them! Please don't never ever loose your traditions!!
Me and my wife have never fit European way and always wondered why. We now are learning true heritage.. guess we are some of the last standing still where it started. Peace is joy😊
When you hear this it is tens of thousands of years old passed down by thousands and thousands of generations it is a resonant that rings to your soul it crosses all boundaries I envy the American Indian for they have that connection for I am a white man and I am blind
I wish I had native blood always loved thier singing their culture I think in my past life I was native cause I feel so good listening to their music drums flutes it calms me down takes my stress out I feel happy God bless you all
I'm a Black American Woman! My ancestors were STOLEN and FORCIBLY BROUGHT to YOUR COUNTRY which was FORCIBLY STOLEN FROM YOU! My soul sings and cries out when I hear Natives sing ANYTHING! ❤
I am less than legally recognizable native american. We trace back to the Comanche through my grandma's side. And I have so much admiration for these people, their songs, and traditions while also being completely ignorant of their meaning and significance which I would also love to learn. ❤️
I was raised indigenous but tbh my people and I because of different circumstances during my younger years were unable to get to learn my people's ceremonies and I honestly wanted to know...
Can you imagine being somewhere back then and hearing this, say in the night. But can’t see yet where it’s coming from. Not knowing what you are walking into. This is absolutely amazing. So may I come underground with y’all when the shit goes down, please?
You missed the point brother, imagine sitting around the fire celebrating this, no matter what happens tomorrow you are at peace. don't look at this with eyes of the intruder
I grew up in Europe watching American Cowboy and Indian movies. I always admired the Indian culture. American movies have done more to preserve Indian culture in USA than anywhere else. Many natives around the world are lost and dont have the recognition and land and freedoms like the Native Americans do. Northern cree pow wow is the nicest one to me from all the others. Drumming is amazing. I wish you peace and prosperity.
I'm only 1/8 native and I feel conflict. My blood quantum means I can't truly consider myself native, but I also feel like a piece of me is lost. It's not an easy topic to talk about, but I just feel trapped.
I too is half but my white side grew up around natives,no disrespect what so ever,if it wasn't a native, he showed my father how to bank fish, that is why I'm here today
I’m not native but this bring happiness to my soul
This is how powerful our native songs our
Im glad u feel that way🥰
It’s because you’re human.
It’s native pride & soul a healing.

Many of us have similar stories. There’s discrimination on both sides.

Mi espíritu está con vosotros hermanos..suenan los tambores de la paz terrenal y así os digo que la Luz ha ganado.. desde badalona..un hermano

And tells you to come back, hopefully

Being African American and Native American is genuinely wild to me. I wish my mom taught me more about my native side….

I get a unfamiliar feeling from listening to or watching music/videos like this. And sends chills throughout my bod
Unfamiliar, or remembered, actually, the most normal, natural, real thing? it's almost a year later... does it feel more normal now?
Imagine listening to this in a open field at sunrise
