Not everyone does that, then no one would move hahaha everyone would be from where they are! Example people that are from Oklahoma and move to California. They stay here. Utah to Texas. Etc etc Some times is meant to be.

Me and my husband moved from LA to a small town in New Jersey. We moved in 2020 and I can tell you right now I will never go back to California. Driving down the street with tons of trees, changing colors, and waking up to snow in the winter is absolute best feeling ever. Living in California makes you feel claustrophobic, like there is no personal space anywhere you go. Here you get a breath of fresh air. I 100% percent will NEVER regret it.

@@mviorato24same I live in Northern California in a small town and absolutely love it. My husband is from Texas and grew up in the city and 100 percent prefers it here in that aspect.
I agree. I’m in CA also but about an hour away from LA and the center. I live in a city where it’s slowly getting populated and I’m getting 😢 sad. I also enjoy the space. LA and some areas in OC are way too crowded. I dislike it

I was born and raised in San Diego, California and I always felt like I belonged elsewhere. My husband and I moved to Texas and I LOVED it there. My husband is from Missouri and we live in Missouri now. Now I get to experience all the seasons and I LIVE for fall and a white Christmas but it gets really hot and incredibly cold. It has its positives and negatives but I love the small town life ❤
I live in a small town here in the Midwest and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else ❤

The snow is cute when you don’t got a job and your dad clearing the driveway 😂 I have had to rush to my job in the past and my car was not 4x4 and my car was just driving it self into the car next to me because Ice, roads, and cars are not friends 😭! Driving in the ice is so scary because there’s nothing you can do girl lol. But when I was a kid I was thriving so much in the snow !
Lmfao! When you’re running late & barely clean all the snow off your car❄️ & break quickly & all the snow attacks your front windshield 🤣🤣 always happens to me!!

Karina understand why California is so expensive we have everything here! Beaches, mountains, good weather and diversity! I've heard people that have moved to Texas struggle to get use to the weather and other things. Also, I dont understand why people would want to move to a State that doesn't like immigrants! Yes, I said it! The new bill - 10 years if you get caught with someone that its undocumented. Racial profiling is basically legal there 🙄 this bill is worse than the one in Florida!

If you guys did want to move you’re lucky to have the jobs you have . Other ppl gotta get up everyday and drive in the snow and stormy weather but you guys are fortunate to be able to do most of the stuff you do from home

Mayra! You can still get the small-town vibe and the snow without leaving California! There's a whole area north of Folsom that is BEAUTIFUL 😍
They get snow, it's full of trees, you can find houses on huge lots of land. If you're into looking through Zillow, I suggest you look near the cities of Auburn, Pollock Pines, Gold Run, Grass Valley, etc. You can be far removed enough, without sacrificing your Target runs and being in actual civilization lol
I’m from California and moved to North Carolina with my parents 5 years ago and let me tell you, the only thing I miss about CA is my extended family. We do have some family out here but it’s been a really nice fresh start almost. Before we moved out here one of my brothers moved to Colorado with his gf, and they just recently moved back to CA because they were tired of the cold weather and snow. As a CA girly I didn’t know that in Colorado and maybe other states where it snows, as homeowners you have to shovel your driveway and sidewalk everyday or else you get fined. Imagine having to wake up earlier during the cold winter because you have to shovel your driveway and sidewalk at 6AM before going to work 🙂
Karina is trying to bring Mayra back to earth (re Hallmark movies), like those people flagging the pilot at an airport runway. 😂😂 ✈️🛬

I am originally from a small town and I loved it I live in a big city now and I can’t wait to go back to a small town. Illinois has all the seasons and it’s very beautiful ❤

Mayra I get you!! I also love to romanticize “homey” towns. So I moved from South Texas to a small town in the Midwest for work, the first year was hard. I was missing my family and didn’t like how cold the winter was. However, now my second year I absolutely love it!! We have a beautiful fall and my walks are so pretty, the weather is crisp and I get to live my sweater/uggs fantasy, and I know we will have snow in Christmas 🎅🏼 I went back to South Texas to visit family for one week and it didn’t feel the same, I missed my new home and the late 80 degree weather on October was not it!!! If you move just know it will be hard at first but, trust you will love it if you really let yourself experience the new state 💗
Karina didn’t really care about her birthday but now that Stella’s got her groove back she is the life of the party. Haha love it

I'm from South Central LA, we moved to Washington state 10 yrs ago Hugeeee change, yes the seasons are beautiful and everything is way cheaper out here and the vibes are very chill which I love for my kids, but I'm a city girl at heart I miss LA 😭

I love the holiday season ❤ growing up I lived in several states [WA, OR & ID] where all 4 seasons were present and it’s a total vibe! I miss waking up to snow and turning on the chimney but it’s also hard living in the snow when it came to going to work or school. I miss it a lot because we get pure heat here in Phoenix 😭 fall and winter are absolutely gorgeous in other states and holiday season hits different for sure!

Mayra if you feel the need to move, move girl; your family unfortunately will not always feel your best fit is for them and that’s ok! Put your husband and kids first girl they are your priority. Plus your family would have a new place to visit for the holidays 😉

Hello from Tennessee!
Well what can I say. Tennessee is such a beautiful place with all seasons. Moved here from San Diego California 6 years ago and let me tell you I WILL NEVER MOVE BACK. I mean this place has a lot of things they need to work on (houses, streets, sidewalks, stores) but its so nice! Yes I do miss California because we don't have any family here or the food we were used to but that's all. If you do want to move do research because every place has its bad. Here we just get tornado warnings, flooding, severe thunderstorms, under 10 degrees, winter from ending of Oct to maybe early April
My husband and I moved to Nashville 2 yrs ago from Riverside and girl I will never move back! We visit socal every year but the pace of life here is magical. No traffic compared to cali of course, the financial freedom to us was the biggest reason we moved! It was definitely a leap of faith but we’re glad we made it happen 🙏🏼 also I love trunk or treats! But I only attend those weeks before Halloween never on the actual day
I stay in Cali because even if it’s expensive, I can afford it. BUT it’s a great state for people with disabilities and rights for women’s bodies. I don’t have to worry about hurricanes, tornadoes, tropical storms, snow storms, freezing temperatures ect.
I live in western North Carolina, like in the STICKS (mountains) lol and I experience all the seasons. Honestly, I don’t think I could live anywhere else that doesn’t experience the seasons like we do. Each season is as expected and amazing. Christmas, it’s cold and if we’re lucky it’s snowing, Halloween and thanksgiving it’s crisp and cozy, Easter the first of the blooms are finally peeking and the sun shines just a bit brighter, July 4th it’s hot and we go swimming in the rivers and lakes. Ugh I just love living where I live. So yeah, needless to say being blessed to experience the seasons is truly the best ❤
I was raised and grew up in Texas but when I got married I moved to Nebraska and it’s home now.. I can’t see myself moving back to Texas I love having all the seasons I live for Fall and the weather is just perfect during fall.. I love having a white Christmas with the snow and I love the small city life.. raising my child here has been ideal

I moved to Texas born raised LA girl. I want to say it’s completely different you will definitely get crazy weather. if you do move you need to have family come with you. as long as we have family to share holidays birthdays etc. “Home is where I’m with you” ❤
I lived in NY until I was 17 and have been living in PR ever since (I'm 43) and I truly miss the changing of the seasons because I am sooooo over this non stop heat. I have thought so many times to moving back to the States but not NY but same as you guys family keeps me here 🤷😥

I live in New York and I love seeing all the changes the trees go through the year. I'm 45 minutes away from New York City, so I can still live the suburbs experience or just take a train ride to the city.

I think families are still overwhelmed with what happened in Israel... People were saying there were not many kids in our town (northern cali) but our kids had a blast, there was a bunch of block parties and people were telling our kids "take handfuls please" they had storage bucket filled to the rim. or giving full size bars.. I was like "umm thank you, 2 pieces/child is enough" literally the lady replied "nope not at my house here babies take more" LOL
Fellow Iowan here. It snows in the winter. It’s snowed before Halloween before. It’s soooooo cold to trick or treat😭 I wish we could move elsewhere in the future. I was born in California and miss it so much.
From Michigan and I know I hella complain cause the winter is wintering cold af but let me just say sipping hot chocolate looking out our window to the beautiful snow hits so different! & the fall just automatically puts me in a good mood ! It’s has its up and downs for sure though .

I love this ! EVERY YEAR after thanksgiving there is a bunch of leftovers so I always make out plates and hand them out to the homeless so they can have that thanksgiving meal 🩶

I live in Washington state (not to be confused with DC, we are two states above California.) My husband and I both grew up in Corona but left because life is way too hectic down there. We LOVE IT here!!! Nothing beats a snow day, when they cancel school and I have so much fun with my kids making snow ramps and snow men. I love the crisp air of fall. I appreciate spring and summer now. You enjoy each season because you know its gonna change. And also true, you do miss California and Disneyland but my family of 4 flies for under 500 round trip at least once a year (avelo air)

I live in Tn, I’m from California born and raised. My twin sister and other sisters are all in California. It’s a beautiful life out here I don’t regret it but I do miss my family I get fomo. But the seasoned hunny! Everything. It’s awesome out here too. Super hallmark movie!
Also let me add NO TRAFFIC! Gas is so much cheaper out here too. I get to live in a bigger home drive nicer car, something I couldn’t do in California.

My husband and I moved from San Antonio, Tx to traverse city, Michigan it’s the northern part of Michigan .. absolutely stunning, definitely a culture shock & so peaceful but there are pros and cons in both places. We had winter for about half the year and it would take an extra 30min to an hour to get anywhere. Sometimes we had no electricity or plowing the snow was the worse ! But I definitely would recommend purchasing a home somewhere you would to live and only go there seasonally and AirBnB it the times you’re not there !
We just moved to Texas from cali a couple weeks ago not having family out here just my husband & I , it’s sad but I love the vibes! Definitely would recommend it 🩷
I live in a small city in Oregon, and i feel like it would be perfect for Mayra. We get all the seasons, within the Latino community we all know each other, and the stores are literally so close to everything and everyone. It's absolutely beautiful and I don't see myself moving away because of everything it provides! You guys need to come and visit Oregon
I live in Tennessee & in a smalller town than I grew up in and I love it here. Everything is close everything is so cozy vibes and they always do cute things in the downtown area for the kids. I would never leave here but, I could chose another state for sure TEXAS!

My husband moved from Thousand Oaks to Seattle , and it took a lot of adjusting we get seasons the Christmas fantasy but also a lot of rain, but now that he’s finally used to it he doesn’t see us moving back
I love California! I would say travel to those places for the holidays.
Pennsylvanian gal here! 🤭 I think that’s the only reason why I love PA, we get to enjoy the 4 seasons. It’s got really nice sceneries with all the mountains. You can definitely live your small town girl fantasy here! ☕️🏠🍂
We open from family and celebrate on the 24th. The 25th just us at home opening from Santa ❤️ the perfect balance
I live in a small town where everyone knows everyone but there can be pros and cons, pros it is more quiet, more safer, some cons are you have to drive 20-30 mins to go to grocery store or gym and even to go out to eat. Even worse when its snowing some days you can't even go out because of how bad the weather gets.
Come to Dallas, Texas! Better yet, come to frisco, Texas! We’re getting a universal studios soon. It’s growing and we get all 4 seasons all year round 😁
