This is one of my favorite episodes. As a now big girl who was once underweight just know both skinny and big girls have issues. I was have been criticized as both, you can never please people, they always have something to say.

I always been a thick girl and I totally relate to this! I struggle with over-eating and I constantly hate myself because of it. However the hardest part is facing family and friends who point out my weight. I'm trying my best to loose weight but some people forget that we are human as well.
I 💯 relate to the body type comment that Eliza said. It’s like the plus size models, they got the perfect curves, the perfect plus size dimensions they are treated different and more acceptable/ admired.

I totally get you Eliza! I used to be thin a few years back and then i gained 100lbs and it unfortunately went to my stomach. Yes, people treat you so differently! I remember how it was when i was thin compared to now being overweight.
Depends on how u look at things i never had thin days i was ALWAYS fat and got make fun of since i was young and all through school and people wouldnt like me without even knowing me it Really messed me up cuz im a shy/sensative quiet person that keeps to myslef and i wound up like 300lbs from the bullies/abuse!!! :(
I feel this but for me it was how I looked before having kids vs after having 2 😢 im trynna work on it but the process is hard

The part of the podcast when you talked about how girls act different when you lose weight is so real. I was really wide and it looked worse because im short and i recently lost a lot of weight when i moved to florida. For me losing weight has made me get so much male attention compared to before i got none. Girl wise, some girls stopped being my friend because they saw me as a threat (in the most humble way possible). Like these girls used to compliment my hips and hourglass figure, but when the body was thinner/more defined they stopped speaking to me… its so weird
when i was young my mom was well over 400lbs and i wud Always remember feeling SO defensive when people would sneer at her and talk cuz she was heavy it was Royally fucked up cuz i was picked on all through school and wound up 300lbs myself because of others till i had the same surgery as Karina FAT SHAMING IS REAL AND IT SUX!

Omg! My ex was over 300lbs and was bullied in school and by his own “friends” for years and he lost all this weight and accomplished so much, then he started bullying larger people. I tried to humble him and make him remember how he felt but, nope. No hope for people like him.
So um - plot twist - I had a friend get pregnant and she was on the 10 year copper IUD. 😂😂 it’s still possible
Also, male doctors tend to be more gentle because they don’t have vaginas they want to ensure they don’t hurt us.

:( (I’m an ultrasound tech ) a majority of the complications and complaints I see are from the copper Paragard IUD. It makes your periods heavier and more painful. Liletta or Mirena IUD are the better option. They have hormones, but the hormones are localized in the uterus and not systemic. (Won’t cause weight gain, mood swings, acne etc.)

Love this episode!! Im not a thick girly but I was super skinny growing up and I heard all the unnecessary comments growing up. Now I have a daughter who also got my genes and is super skinny and fucken hate allll the comments I get from family members😕. People really dont know how to mind their business...
I do want to say about the food session you guys talked with Mom’s feeding kids.
We do have to realize that junk food less expensive than healthy foods. So most low income families do go for junk foos so that their kids eat something at least food doesn’t determine being a bad mother, it’s if your child doesn’t eat then that’s child neglect.
People do treat you different after losing weight. It’s sad but true. It’s happened to me.

As a skinny fit girl I will say that it can also be hard on social media because is a bigger girl posts a pics wearing a cute reaviling outfit people will be like “you go queen” “so inspirational” but I if a fit girl posts this people are like “you slut” “only doing this for attention” “stop showing your body so much” “you posting this makes other women feel insecure” like no women can ever win!

As someone who has 3 toddlers , and has tried a few different types of birth control and ended up on paraguard it definitely was worth it for me girlies !
I am 💯 with the whole conversation about the clothes for plus sizes. I have never been skinny. I've always been "above average " according to the "charts". We need more cute plus size stores with all varieties!!

16:50 I got pregnant off of it and ended up with an ectopic pregnancy. 💔👼 the periods were horrible why I handled it for too long? Because I “rather not get pregnant “ and so now I have fibroids I blame all the iud I used. Don’t get on birth control’s ladies if you don’t need too.

I had the copper for a month, it was moving in my uterus and poked & scarred my inside, when I got it taken out A MONTH later, it came out rusted in some areas.. which is so weird but I joined a birth control group and it’s actually more common, it was like copper toxicity or something like that

I have been on the copper iud for months and haven't had a problem! My periods were heavy in the beginning, but I also had a baby before it was placed. Now i have no cramps, and my period is regular. Everyone has a different experience and remember you can always change which birth control method you choose!
