Maybe it's an English thing, as I think Sully does it the same way in that 'worst date' sketch.

When Adam inevitably has to play Monopoly, do a House Rules episode where the goal is to go bankrupt in Monopoly as fast as possible.
There's a game called Go For Broke where the aim of game is to lose all money, should play that
There’s also the ‘Mad’ magazine game which has the exact premise of being the anti-monopoly
Monopoly, except instead of 2d6, use 2d20, and you have to take a shot whenever you pass go.
And going broke in Monopoly isn't hard. Just bid all your money in the first auction.
Play Last Will instead.

As great as this episode was (and it was GREAT), it boggles my mind that they don't use the toggle on the bottom of the stand, and just turn the stand over and dump the tokens out like absolute madmen.
Some of the newer versions don’t have that anymore. They break off too easily if kids mishandle the board.

That's most of the games on House Rules in a nutshell
You know, a blindfold version of Connect 4 with random disc distribution would work as a game if the players were told what colours were played that round: 2 of a colour, or mixed. This would let you know (sorta) some sense of the colour pattern of the grid. Might be fun and challenging.
While this was entertaining, I hope House Rules doesn't just become "How much torture can we put Adam and Sully through?" The Guess Who episode is my favorite so far, in that it's a house rule I'd actually like to try myself.

If they do some more ones that are just alternative rules rather than masochism, then Jenga with a chess timer is always good.

Considering the spirit of "house rules", and the including of blindfold implies the only rule is you are only not allowed to see. Meaning you have to use your other senses , in this case "touch", to try and win the game. Therefor, in this instance... Adam totally did not cheat.
@@Ahoge-dono Yeah, I'm with Adam too. Especially since, if you have little attention span, it's very easy to forget which tokens are in which column. And once the tokens are mixed up, it's literally impossible to tell.

Given one fact we know about Teri is that she’s French, did she purposefully wear a blue and white stripy shirt on her first camera appearance just to reinforce stereotypes? What next? A string of onions, beret and baguette under the arm?
I liked how the previous two house rules episodes went co-op and didn't think this one would - but then Terri went and made it so Adam and Sully were both playing to end the pain.
Anyone else hoping for more on screen Teri? She may not want to be an on screen personality potentially, but I feel like she'd be a great on screen addition

@@master1442p her and Adam will make a great rivalry. I've played Clocktower with both of them where Adam was the Butler and Teri was the Imp. Adam clocked her as the demon very early on but we didn't believe him because its Adam. After about N3 or 4 we woke up to Adam dead, which we found out after the game was because she just wanted to shut Adam up 😂😂

This was amazing 😂 Adam stealing Sully’s tokens was so good. If you guys do a NRB recap at the end of the year, this definitely deserves a clip
First video I can recall seeing in which more of Teri is visible than her hand, and it feels like spotting a unicorn.
I seem to remember Adam making it a resolution to always pick yellow if possible and here he plays as red.
Thus Sully should be given the win.
I honestly feel like being able to feel the board is a more interesting game; that’s what I expecting them to do from the beginning. It’s still quite difficult to keep track of everything in your head, but you can get a better idea it isn’t just someone sneaking tokens into the corner.
Imagine playing Clue with the solution to the murder be any random card instead of specifically 1 weapon, 1 room , 1 person. It could be 3 rooms or 2 persons with 1 weapon. OR just simply take out a random card so you can never know 100% the solution and will have to guess. The worst thing would be have someone know the solution, but their goal is to fool everyone else into guessing wrong.
Can't wait for next week's episode where they play a game of Snap! Exploding, Barbed Wire, Deathmatch Edition

From personal experience I do believe that at some point we all have ended up playing UNO with house rules.
Never in past 5 years (minimum!) have I played following official rules.
So glad Adam got called out for his blatant cheating.

Now we've entered the realm of games whenever they're in anime. There's always crazy stakes and/or some sort of pain risk
I love the house rules videos, ive seen content along the lines of board game with a twist but yours are way funnier!
If you're ever in need of ideas,
-monopoly (auctions only)
-bop it or perfection with those electrostim pads
-full contact twister (you can try to shove the other over as long as you dont fall yourself)
-twister with inversion goggles/drunk goggles

Or any card game with the no thumb challenge thingy would be funny
Im a simple man, battleship and every time you get hit/sunk you get tased depending on how much you want to suffer
