Thank you for this! I needed a video to help give me ideas. My current counter chairs are falling apart (cheap metal ones) and I'm determined to make us some solid, beautiful, wood chairs for the kitchen island. This is so helpful.
The only thing that I don't like about your channel and it really pisses me off is that you are soooooo underrated! I love your videos and you are so skilled and helpful! God bless you!
Our apartment has a crazy high bar and needs at minimum 38" barstools and I also have minimal tools (Dewalt 20v jig saw, router, orbital sander, and drill). I don't have much money as I am going back to school for software engineering but these look like they will fit our means perfectly! I am sure the limited tools will make this quite interesting to build (not to mention my folding woodworking bench on our apartment balcony) but I look forward to the challenge in about a week!
I love these chair!! I was looking to buy some for my backyard, but they’re too expensive $$$😳😳!! I plan on building my own for sure. Thank you for being an inspiration and consider me a new subscriber. ❤️❤️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
One question? First of all, good work, appreciate it, but you used Biscuit joiner to make some Joiner holes, but they went underneath the slab, what is the purpose?
@@TheAwesomeOrange oh yeah 😅 my bad, I missed that part, I thought you used screws only, for the seat, just like you used for the back support slab. Wow, really good work, with easy fixation. Sorry for missing that part out.
Great question! It wasn’t easy and I barely had enough room on a couple of them. But it you place your screws just right and offset then it can work. 🍊
Hi Sadie, I've just purchased a set of the Counter Height Chair plans. Went through the check out process with all of my info but noticed it listed my state as Illinois instead of Florida. Can you check on this for me please and correct my mistake? It won't let me do it. Thanks, Steve
I think its a mistake to put stretcher bars at floor level. They will interfere with feet like a kickboard and any time there is something under them it will be broken or the stool will not stand upright. (IMHO of course 😊)
Well done tutorial video. Much appreciated. The looks and design of the chairs made me want to watch your video not because you are a woman. I think you are a rare bird who actually has great skill. Just wondering who was your first instructor teaching you that you could do this?
One of the most informative demo’s I’ve seen, thank you.
Wow! Awesome… thank you so much! 🍊

Love these... They are so expensive to buy and I'm going to build a good many because I'm doing a island instead of a dining room. Love them❤

If I remember correctly I used them to attach the seat to the frame with z clips. 🍊

Long time no see! Again great idea and excellent work!
Thank you! 🙌🍊
How did you get the feet levelers in without it hitting the screw? The threads look pretty long and on top of that the feet are inset.

super
Thank you! 🍊
👏👏🪑🪑They look great and comfy...wish I could do the same but novice😩 ...nice nails too😀💅❣

The state shouldn’t matter… if the payment was approved and your email was correct you should have received the plans via email. 🍊
I haven't received the plans
I don’t show a payment was ever received from you. So you can just try again with correct address. 🍊
Okay I will do it now. Thank you so much for your reply. Steve
I would love to build these but cannot find the cut list on “the awesome orange”
Here is a link www.theawesomeorange.com/shop/counter-height-chair. Happy building! 🍊
Thank you so much
Gud eve what is the standard hieght and width..
Seat height is 24”. The rest of the dimensions I don’t know off hand, but are on my website link in description. 🍊
How much is the chair plans? Interested
They are $10 on my website. Li k in description. 🍊

Thanks for your opinion. I have get levelers on the base so those are really the only thing touching the ground. 🍊
Good on the eyes. Bad on the rear😀
