He’s just smart and knows the concept known as the “Beatdown.” His deck is aggressive, but he has anthems and value cards like Worthy Knight that slowly let him take over the game. He knows that if he can just trade resources and keep his life total high that his deck just has more gas per card to win. Mad respect for not only posting your losses but also keeping a cool head and not tilting. So many players will go crazy because their opponent had one, usually expected, good top deck. You’re a paragon of what the Magic community should strive to be. Keep doing you man.

Wow, this is my exact list. Like, to the card. We built the same deck. Awesome! The new General is what made this deck good. I was playing Sanctuary Lockdown but, took it out. It was too greedy & slowing the deck down. I also play the Mardu Triome but maybe Tournament Grounds is better. Love me some Tribal.
I had a similar build focused on the Worthy Knight as Human Knights can get multiple anthem effects, but decided to go Orzhov with General's Enforcers and Kesya. The lifegain and vigilance really gets crazy.
Lurrus can definitely be good. Probably need access to Corpse Knight so you can win on a stalled board as you won't have access to Embercleave with Lurrus as your companion.
I've built Mardu Humans and I want to ask. What do you think of Fireblade Artist in a legends Humans deck? Like those composing of General Kudro General's Enforcer Judith Tajic Hero of Precinct One Stormfist Crusader
Played a fair bit of Mardu knights in ELD standard and land base hasn't changed since then. It helps a ton, definitely makes aggressive 3 color possible
I have found the Lurrus-knight shell a bit underwhelming. Better in Orzhov, with Pridemates and lifelinkers, above all Hushie who by herself shuts down half the field

I would like to see if you could make a viable Golgari reanimation deck using cards like -Nethroi, Apex of death -Back for more -Skull prophet/glow spore shaman -Fiend Artisan -Bond of revival Etc and so forth.. Heck, you could even throw Titanoth Rex as another win combo.. I dunno. I figured you'd be better than me or most other youtubers at making such a deck. Anyways...Just a thought from a longtime NONE patreon supporter😅.. I do atleast always give your videos the good old like button. So I suppose that is support in its own way

Nice build! Since you're playing mostly knights, couldn't this deck use The Circle of Loyalty? Or Icon of Ancestry? I really was looking forward to playing a lot of the human archetype after this set, but after testing multiple decks, I've found that in today's meta, decks like this are too slow, too underpowered or unable to recover if faced with a sweeper. Only way to make humans competitive nowadays is with Winota :(

I am very angry right now. I feel like I had been cheated. I was playing against a RW winota deck when suddenly, my opponent pulls an agent of treachery out of nowhere. I stared open mouthed at the screen for like 5 minutes, then conceded.

Winota isn't dominating any tournaments. It's high variance but feels bad if you're on the receiving end of Agent.
Nah, Winona isn't a big problem. It can feel frustrating to play against, but it's not obscenely powerful. The problems rn are the companions

Icon of Ancestry is a consideration, but Circle of Loyalty is just too slow compared to other lord-type effects.
