hi, big fan here :). just noticed your Flux can; I still use my dad's old Flux and never saw another one like it until this video; good stuff that Flux :).
Is there a tip of lining everything up? This looks like the one I have. Fixed wires. It seemed to go back together very nicely. Put back on bike. Does nothing.
The random rings. The watch on the right wrist. The Ryobi tools and lucozade pink lemonade... This guy is me but with long curly hair 😂😂😂 I need to do this job soon but im running 12awg phase lines and i need to wire a thermistor in too. Doesnt look like much space for heavy phase lines.
@@EbikeRepairs I think that will be a last resort. I'll see what I can do. I might be able to shave some of the sheathing off as they're pretty thick silicone ones. Fairly squishy too. I've got 12awg down to the axle and then the factory 14 or 16awg that comes out of it. I want to run 12 all the way to the motor though as the small length of factory wire gets quite warm with 130a and before that I actually burnt through the original phase wires on the stock controller some how (no idea how many amps that put out but it doesn't feel half as powerful as my new controller 😂
I have the same problem my wire has like 6 wires in side big ones and small ones have not opened it yet I can see in the spit big ones and small ones I can't find the right extension cable it's got 3 pits then 8 little pins next to the beers pins (3+3+2) have you got a link yo where you have bought your from please as iv looked all over for the right one, thank you and your videos are very educational keep up the good work 5 🌟
Sweet video. I got the same issue, just struggling now to find replacement cable. I can find the ones i got now but i want the quick release wire for it. Where abouts did you get the cable from?
Life would be easier and less likely to damage the hub plate by extracting it using the tapped holes around the centre boss. Obtain a disc larger in diameter than the boss, something like 60mm dia x 3mm thick. Drill some clearance holes to match the PCD for 3 of the 6 tapped holes around the boss and attach using some M4 bolts, You can then use a 2 or 3 legged puller around the disc overhang to safely remove the plate. You would also need to drill a clearance in the centre of the disc to lower it over the spindle before attaching the M4 bolts
hi, ive just come across your video after searching for hours, please tell me you can help with fixing my hub motor? do you have a place i can send my motor for repair please there isnt anywhere that will deal with this type of hub unless its a top of the range name branded ebike. Possibly you have a blown hall sensor or several also!

@@MaNNeRz91 thanks! I take that as a compliment 😂 you could probably upsize the axle hole by a 0.5mm drill bit... Probably

Canu use any old wires?
Technically yes, but correct motor cable would be best! As ratings etc. differ
I have you ever used ferrofluid to put inside the rear hub motor
I haven't, but I've used ATF instead :) It's much cheaper
@@EbikeRepairs is OK to use on the hub magnets you got link please
I'm not sure actually - it may cause them to become unstuck...

Just check on Amazon UK for hub motor extension cable and cut the end off 👍
Where did you get the replacement cable? Great informative video by the way!
Aliexpress. Check out 1000w ebike motor cable. Thanks!
amazon has a lot of those 1000w cables for $10. Extension cables. i got 4 just for replacement purposes
Dude I know you're in the UK I'm down south near Brighton where is your shop I need someone to sort my hub motor out
On holiday currently but back 14th may, I'm normally not too far from Brighton in Bexhill 👍
@@EbikeRepairs ok I will message you after the 14th hope you enjoy your holiday I will be needing a pcb and Hall sensor replacement
My hub motor axle broke I need a new one where can I find that part
Unfortunately it isn't easy to find one unless you know your exact motor specs, often cheaper to get a whole new kit from eBay!

AliExpress for this one 👍
To free the case you bang it on the ground come out with out damgelittpe trick for you next time😊
@@ADHDBuildz yes I've done that in the past too, I do actually own a rubber mallet which might help 😂😂
Can you fix bafa hub motor wire is broken thank you
yes sure - all contact details on our website www.ebikerepairs.co.uk thanks
Can you tell me why you didn't just cut it off and solder new cable? Then isolate properly.
It's ugly! Often damaged at the entrance to the axle so I just replace the whole thing. But there isn't really any reason you couldn't do it.

Hopefully! Yes I do, ebikerepairs.co.uk
Send me a photo of the motor - I'll see if it's something I can work on thanks
Cable ends etcetera NEVER EVER EVER THROW ANYTHING OUT
Must hoard more parts
Its too bad we can't see what you're doing or hear what you're saying.😢
Sorry! I'm getting better :)
