I've still got this watch in 2018 and wear it every day and still a head turner

Still wearing mine daily, Feb 2022. It's had some hard wear and I've long since forgotten most of the functions but it still works perfectly and still looks virtually new. Amazing watch.

This is probably the best looking g-shock ever made.

@Norv952 Yes the altimeter has to be recalibrated pretty often. And yes you change the reference mode.

Recently changed the bezel and strap for new on mine (had to be a gulfman 9110 strap as i could not get a riseman) as the old ones were ridiculously shiny and smelt wierd. It looks fucking amazing again. Its at least 14 years old, and i was wearing it yesterday and a colleague was like "wow, what watch is that? Its awesome...."

Good luck finding this watch new under $300.00 - Casio discontinued this watch just before the Rangeman GW9400-1 came out. This watch was averaging around $140.00 before it was discontinued , I bought mine for $135.00 3 years ago. You can buy used Risemans for around $140.00 on Ebay , but of course they are scratched , and some are pretty beat up. Unless your a collector , I'd buy the Rangeman , more features and they are now selling for under $200.00 on Ebay and Amazon.

Just to let you know after 10 yrs the battery will end up having to be replaced. I've got a Raysman I've had since 2001 and thought the same thing about solar power but it does eventually end up dying out.

Casio does not make GPS watches but companies like garmin make them but if you are really a G-shock /Casio fan try a pathfinder or riseman

@ollymona probably nothing. casio tends to change the last couple letters of the model number depending upon what part of the world it's sold in therefore the watches are the same but just with slightly different model numbers. On the back of mine is GW-9200.

No one has problems changinf it up and making it show "H" I might have to send mine in. I had mine under a bright light for 12 hours and still stays on "M"
