      Thanks Kevin, don't worry he's not gonna forget any of you because all of u embraced him wholeheartedly which is heartwarming. His next movie will be a Globethrotting adventure Indiana Jones style with his touch. The protagonist will be an actor named Mahesh Babu.

    I also saw RRR which was super long but really good. I plan to watch this next since it's always mentioned in a lot of the RRR reviews. I think I'll like it more since it's more about mythology instead of the colonialism in RRR.

    I loved the second part better in terms of storytelling. The CGI is also better in that but I think the end battle was better in this one since it was a full-fledged war. In the second part, while there is a battle, the climax is more personal.
    Good call on holding off the score till you watch the second part as it would conclude the story. So glad you enjoyed it!

    What you said about the sudden and shocking ending to the first part of this movie reminded me of episode V of Star Wars back in 1980. Han basically gets sealed in carbonite and goodbye movie for two years or whatever it was. That said I loved Bahubali and thankfully having both movies available on Netflix I too could just jump in and enjoy!

    I am saying this as someone who grew up with Indian movies. I just did not connect with the Bahuballi series. Thought the cinematography was spectacular thought. I lived every bit of RRR thought, what a jewel. Rajamouli is master. Try watching other directors like Sanjay Leelah Bansali's Ram Leelah with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh also Raazi with Alia Bhatt ( Seetha in RRR).

    India makes movies for their people. The songs are part of an experience that Americans can never truly appreciate. Musicals in Hollywood are mostly fall flat. India is about Escapism. It's why movies were created for the poor folks, and they continue to have something for everyone. It's inclusive, not exclusive. They are called Masala movies, meaning it has a ton of different spices in one serving. So I would say you can speak to your enjoyment as a regular viewer, but your American POV disqualifies you to truly review an Indian film Sir. I am not from India, but I grew up on these films. It's not made for someone who has just seen one Indian film. Glad you did enjoy it mostly.

    • @Dr.Nilesh_Shukla
      @Dr.Nilesh_Shukla ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with everything you said. 💯 Movies should really be a get away from reality and Bahubali is one of those rare gems that one can appreciate forever. The lyrics of the songs that are used in bahubali can truly be appreciated only by the one who understands the language. Even though it is originally made in Telugu, i get mindblown by the lyrics used in the hindi versions! (Can only imagine how good the Telugu songs would be)
      Truly a masterpiece❤️

    Just finished watching this for mother day. Yes, my mother/father are old fashion Mexican parents so finding movies that are full Spanish voice or subtitles are hard to find, that also good.
    (Tho Spanish voice was better than English cuz English sounded stiff and out of sync so Spanish was better. Rare lol)
    Sadly it does feel outdated coming out 2015 and took 4 years to make so really 2011-2012 feel and it shows. I would say the first 1 hr 30min felt like a cheesy Disney movie and the last 30min a good lord of rings battles where it epic and grand. Again super cheesy and the action while good def outdated where it keep cutting off for a diff angle and to me makes it feel less epic.
    It also didn’t help that we watch RRR which I consider a masterpiece and fallowing that is almost impossible. My family had a good time but definitely had a few slow pace issue where your thinking this isn’t good. CGI is hit and miss and the lord dump at the end couldn’t been told better. Tho it did get my two brother and my mom interested for part 2 ( my dad and sister lost interest)
    In the end I would give this a 3/5 movie it sadly didn’t age well and RRR is just god tier

    Character inconsistencies and emotional imbalances? U must be on something while watching this 😛 the end scene when Katappa kills Bahubali entire India was like waiting for part2 to know the reason..each character leads us to a certain point in the story..u Wil appreciate when u see next part..u don't need to sum up the narrative yet..while watching Rajamouli movies plz indulge into the regional specifications which we can appreciate you westerners can't.. so do u say same things while watching a Chinese movie and say its absurd that they eat noodles day in n day out while we have hamburgers and bash it as non realistic 🤭let's see what I think Abt part2.. I already rated u though 😎
