And kgf2 has multiple motives in movie
It would've been another film easily
This movie is mainly focused towards indian audiences, there's nothing new or different story wise or anything else in general, its over the top, dramatic, melodramatic, but what indian audiences appreciate is the hero worshipping his style his entry his look, it represents the hero as a one man army which Indians find badass and gravitate towards, really not sure if foreign audience can connect to it
I loved KGF 1 and didn't like the part 2. It was because I had already anticipated the true villain of the story, and kinda knew how the story would end too. The part one for me is top notch, but the part two; meh! Only the revelation of part three at the end of part two was kinda surprising, but everything else was a bit off for me
Perhaps Garuda was the only villian in the world who died without even knowing who killed him and why.

Globally, it's true. However, this year and last year, India has seen a lack of number of great movies, compared to previous years. There are movies that are really amazing, and would cater to all kind of audience globally, it's just that the ratio of movies made vs great movies is a worrying case.

@Cineflect KGF chapter 1 was neglected in India and ignored. But gradually it became popular just like how RRR became popular in West. So, it didn’t earn much. However, by the time they declared Chapter 2 whole India and South Asian continent submerged in its hype. Chapter 2 was able to cross RRR's collection thanks to that. Ch 2 budget just $12 - $13 million, 1/6 of RRR budget. But earned more than RRR. It's ticket price were quite cheaper compare to RRR

I love the KGF Franchise. I've watched this KGF Chapter 2 now 4 times in the Theatre and all 4 times it was a packed Rip Roaring Theatre!. Absolutely Insane!.
I'm jealous of that theatrical experience. Hopefully I can a movie in India someday, but they probably won't have English subtitles, right?
@@cineflect Ahh it depends tbh. Me and my family went to watch rrr on my birthday, and we don't speak telugu at all. It said there was subtitles but once the movie started there was no subs. Still understood 90 percent of it because Telugu and kannada are very similar languages

The police station and the parliament scene from KGF 2 still give me goosebumps. The part which I don't like was the relationship between Rocky and Reena. Idk why.

KGF 1 and 2 were absolute blasts! I definitely preferred chapter 2 since Adheera was such a fun villain, that final fight scene was just too cool. Wish I could have seen it in theaters, haha.

Adheera was good, but nothing will ever beat Garudan's entry. Him standing right next to his unveiled statue was soooooo goddamn badass.
The only problem was he didn't have much screentime after that entry, he died just like that too.

Most of the fans watched kgf chapter 2 before chapter 1 but i watched chapter 1 when it got released but since I'm from kerala and malayali i watched it in malayalam, but the climax scared me because at the time i was 8 , but still I loved it .then i had to wait for 3 years for 2nd chapter but it was totally worth it but kgf also has good sideffects see at the time i was 8 i got bullied by other kids at the bus , they bullied me a lot but after i watched kgf i actually became brave enough to face my bullies and challenge them if i hadn't watched this film that day I would have still got bullied .

It's not only the movie that's projecting on the screen that's responsible for the entertainment in India.
It's also the euphoria around the film. This is how KGF2 has given me best movie experience till date, even more than RRR, however I may go with RRR if I have to choose one of them to watch on TV
Kannada movies which are amazing in storyline are unrecognised. So if you want to invest your time in right way try to watch 1)Avane sriman narayana and 2) charlie 777. One is having amazing visuals and other one is full of emotional scenes. Don't miss them

Smoking and drinking disclaimer is a regulatory requirement in India, just to discourage people from taking it up.
It's fascinating to me. Do they show that in the movie theater too? Do audiences find it distracting or are they used to it?
@@cineflect whenever some smoking or drinking scene come up on screen disclaimer shows up written in small fonts at the bottom of the screen even in theaters and those ads you Just saw plays before majority of the movies even though we are somewhat used to it we still get grossed out......

Even though I am not one of the guys who will go absolutely batshit crazy when a foreign cinephile or reactor praises a film from my country India, I still really appreciate your efforts to actually dive into Indian cinema, it's different styles, tones across language barriers and you will find some that work and some really really ridiculous ones. But I am absolutely looking forward to your reactions to them. If the stylised action of KGF and RRR got you pumped for more, then I absolutely recommend you to check out Kaithi(2019) and Vikram(2022), both r Tamil language action thrillers written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj which are what I describe as "mass meets class" type of Indian commercial action films. Plus they r connected in ways which r exciting.
Again not as stylized as KGF or RRR but content quality wise Both Kaithi and Vikram >? KGF and RR

Try to watch “Avane Sriman Narayana” is an another movie released by sandalwood starring Rakshith Shetty. Mind blowing action scenes, suspense thriller, and amazing artwork mixed up.

The post credit scene was awesome 😌 and now I am waiting for KGF CHAPTER 3 and Salaar movie to drop can't wait mate😇. I have seen other review and reactions videos of Indian movies, specially from western people, but yours definitely stands out. Its clear you invest a lot of time on research of various aspects around the particular movie, and not that movie itself. So even though you come from a different region and section of viewers you are able to get the context right to a greater. This justifies the review and as your viewers we feel satisfied.
RRR and KGF are two very recent movies from India as the Indian Cinema is going through some kind of renaissance where hindi or bollywood movies are no longer dominant. But these two movies are mostly mass entertainers which non-hindi movie industries are a kind of expert in. Its a different genre which is driven by over the top viewing experience in theaters. It resonates with most audiences across the country.
However there are many other movies being made in all indian languages which are artistically brilliant and crafty cinema. I hope in your quest to explore Indian cinema you will cover those kinds of products as well. Probably something like Andhadhun, Ayappanum Koshiyum, Tumbadd, Jallikattu, Super Deluxe, Ludo, Jai Bhim, Gully Boy, Vikram, Sardar Udham etc from recent times you can consider.

i would highly recommend you to watch " Charlie 777 ". It is highly underrated and off the mainstream mass film making like rrr and kgf . still one of the best films and heart touching film that sandalwood made.🙂

Highlight this ,, Both chapter's tells , No son will break mother's promise in our country, it is not a movie it's a real story of man from Kolar town of Karnataka state in India,, he is Mr.Tangam of kolar of 1970 real man , in the end he was encounters by karnataka police... And one more thing the movie pushpa 1 and 2 also real story of sandwood roberry mr. Veerappan. In the end he is also encountered .. sir both are tamil people.. they are real fear less humans in our India.. thank for our Rocky sir movie review

Garuda villain is actual bodyguard of yash, chapter 2 editor is a teenager, Sanjay dutt and raveena tondon rejected kgf offer initially but after blockbuster hit they accepted the offer.. prashant neel should not have accepted that.. anyway kgf is India's third highest grossing film ever behind Dangal, bahubali 2..RRR is in 4th place... let's celebrate indian movies instead comparing and fighting it's a time for golden period of indian cinema.. Anytime RRR is better than KGF 2. ( KGF1 was really great, But KGF2 was not at all good). With no offence, KGF 2 is for chapris and Indian doesnt lack chapris.Thats why KGF2 earned better in India. But worldwide, people have seen better gangster movies and Worldwide RRR is new with story, concept, music and visuals.
For me, RRR is way betterrr.

I think these types of movies should be dubbed in English when releasing overseas. Its a tough job reading subtitles and in doing so we miss the grandeur of cinematography movies have to offer.

In the entire 2 movies you never find a single positive for the people act from Yash except when he sees a woman with a child who reminded him of his mother.
He is selfish thru and thru walking on his path unperturbed by events and characters around him.
Yet people make whatever they think of him villian or hero as they like.
This is the best part of story for me. A good story in a long time back then.
I want to share a story when i this movie was releasing i was tired of running for the ticket but finally after 1.5 i got the tickets and after the movie was released and the Rocky's entry scene people were taking out there shirts
Watching it in packed theatres was no less of a rock concert experience.

@@harikrishnannair2553 both movie are well connected and i agree....but there is too much unnecessary stuff like over scored music, boring mother sentiment scenes, romatic interest didn't impact much except at last scene when she died, avg cgi and some drag moments in the film against protagonist and antagonist.
