      How can I get sukari baby facial in canada? sephora canada does not have it.

    • @SariReanna

      Alisha Sharma it’s not available in Canada due to the high concentration of acids. I only have it because I’m on their PR list and they send it to me! You would have to purchase it in the states or have someone mail it to you.

    Just wanted to add: since filming this video I've started mixing the C-Firma serum with the B-Hydra gel. This is a combo that Drunk Elephant highly recommends, and it drastically reduces the stickiness of the C-Firma so I'll be using it that way from now on! I wish I had tried the combo sooner.

    • @Carmen241986
      @Carmen241986 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've used Drunk Elephant and still have been using their products. I will say though... my concern with the C-Firma is the fact that it's got that orangey tint, and I've been using a Vitamin C product from Timeless which is nice :)

    • @CherryTheLatina
      @CherryTheLatina 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Question, so do you also mix in the Protini moisturizer as well? Mix in all three for day use?

    • @SariReanna
      @SariReanna  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Cherry Martinez I do the serums mixed together and then finish off by applying the Protini on top to make sure the serums really absorb!

After watching many, from many other youtubers, your review was absolutely one of the best. The amount of work you put in this video definitely shows! Also LOVED this so much that I subbed :)

      You all must be tripping to think there’s not difference between 32 years old skin and 25 years skin. Maybe it doesn’t between 20 and 25, but I know some people in their 30s whose face completely changed in 7 years of not giving a fuck what they put on their skin. Skin change once you reach 30s and looking 7 years younger is a lot.

    Great video. I am an older lady who uses the Protini cream. It is great for anti aging skin care. It is the first and only product that gave me an instant improvement. The only other DE product I tried is the eye cream. It was too heavy for my thin skin around my eyes. It also tends to creep into my eyes. And I have sensitive and dry eyes. So that is a no go for me.

Obviously I know that skin care is very personal and what works for someone else may not work for you, but I have very high hopes for this brand. I just love you! You are thorough, educated and beautiful on screen. It's great to just do a review of a line you want to try that has been hyped. I have heard of Drunk Elephant and also heard of its high price. I have even seen other review videos of the line with very mixed results. One or two did a before and after use and found that their skin looked worse after Drunk Elephant. The photos did not lie. So I scrapped my big idea of spending money on such an expensive product but I may try a couple of the products. The Vitamin C product is really hard in a lot of lines because of its chemical make up. You really do need some good stabilizer along with it so it will not be so harsh. Just how to navigate good skin care is a mystery and you have helped lots of people. Good work Girl! Maybe Drunk Elephant will give you a discount.

    • @matchalatte73
      @matchalatte73 6 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@MSUSPARTANS1973 although it's true you don't always need to pay more for products, skincare isn't place where you want to skimp out sis! We're talking about your SKIN here, the LARGEST organ on your body! Yes, ORGAN. Your skin is ALIVE and breathes and you have to take care of it. It may seem ridiculous right now, but when you hit your 30s, 40s, etc, your skin starts aging and rapidly undergoes changes as your body weakens and produces less collagen. Take care of yourself.

    glad to see this review! although I don't think the babyfacial is available in Canada and also just a note on acids creating photosensitivity; it doesn't matter what time of day you use the product since the photosensitive effects last for days after use. so whenever you're using it, always wear an SPF

    Hey girl! I noticed your vitamin c serum is orange! The drunk elephant vitamin c actually supposed to be clearish/lightly orange tint! If it’s that dark it’s probably old and not as effective as a new one! Vitamin c is super delicate and only is stable for like 6-8 months after opening.

      Arna had a commenter on her Drunk Elephant video and that commenter had been in contact with developer of Drunk Elephant and they said that the orange color was perfectly fine and that they make their products in such small batches and are shipped and purchased so quickly that it would be highly unlikely that the Vit C would have gone bad. They mentioned that the serum is a light orange color but gets darker and that is not indicative of it losing potency. They also said something about Vit C serums that are not bio-available will start out clear and darken as they become less potent but that is not the case with bio-available Vit. C. Just mentioning what I saw. Hopes that helps.

    • @katiemichelle9371
      @katiemichelle9371 6 ปีที่แล้ว +36

      The orange color means that it has oxidized and the vitamin C is not as effective anymore.

      'I found this answer from her blog. This is what she received from Drunk Elephant in response to a question about the color of the C-Firma.
      " Hi. We have learned as we’ve gone through the process. We have always been as clear as we could be based on what we know and knew at the time. There’s one thing for sure, our goal is to deliver an effective product and your money’s worth, the problem is, we’ve lived through a period of trial and error, as every brand does. Throughout the 3 years we have sold C-Firma, we have tweaked the formulation to make it thicker, we have changed the packaging because we had a faulty bottle in the beginning, we have improved the filling process so that less air hits the products. we have learned that turmeric darkens the product over time no matter what, we have changed the shelf life (shown through stability testing to be 24 months) to 12 months and we have begun to produce batches more often now to yield the best results. We recommend you use within 6 months, it’s best that way. There has never been any intent on our part to trick the customer and we always send a fresh bottle to unsatisfied customers. It’s all easier said than done and we are quick to admit our mistakes. Today, our C-Firma is as good as it gets and we are very proud of it. It is our number one selling sku so we thank everyone for their patience, understanding and support around this!! 🎉 So sorry for any bad experiences, we can’t go back and change those but we can say that we have a firm handle on it now and we’ll do all we can to make sure it doesn’t continue to happen. If you get a bottle that appears oxidized, send it back and we’ll replace it. It’s as simple as that. Please know though there is still a range of acceptable color and scent change. Light golden to warm amber/pale orange is fine. We do not scent or dye the product on purpose, so you will always see exactly what’s going on. The C-Firma is formulated at 3.5. It has to be stabilized properly and it is. Water doesn’t break down L-Ascorbic acid immediately, but it begins to at some point. Best to use up within 6 months! The pH level is on the packaging and it’s at a clinically effective/non-irritating level! Hope that helps."
      I don't have a dog in this race, as they say, and I am not supporting Drunk Elephant in this question. I am simply mentioning what Drunk Elephants response to the question of oxidation/color change.

    I've been using the Jelly Cleanser, Protein Cream and BabyFacial religiously for about 2 months and I love them (I mean the cleanser is whatever but it's good and only like $36). I have the virgin Marula oil but I rarely use it. Watching this video makes me wanna use it more. I also have a sample size of the "Intensive Hydration" blue thing but, like you, I was confused by the fact that it wasn't actually that moisturizing. So I will be trying it mixed with the Protini cream. I really wanna try the Night Serum after watching this video, it sounds incredible. Thanks for this in-depth video. They have so many products it gets confusing sometimes, so thank you for taking your time explaining everything.

    Just an FYI, and someone else may have said this already, but the B Hydra Gel and Serum are not technically the same thing. The Serum is an updated version of the gel. Some ingredients have been tweaked, and the name has actually changed. I’m a DE junkie. I’m 44 and am very proud of my skin. I didn’t really have many wrinkles before, but the fine lines I had are gone, and my skin just looks healthier overall. I used to have “dry, sensitive” skin. Now I have glowy skin and can put anything on it, no problems.

    • @SariReanna

      It is meant to be a revised version though even if they've tweaked the formula and should give similar results?

I love the murula oil and I’m addicted to the TLC framboos night serum. I started to use it on my hands , I can’t believe how it smooths out the skin . I’m 50 and have been using this product for the last 6 months and love the results.

    luxury skincare has always been a guilty pleasure of mine but I find with drunk elephant the products aren't especially unique or do anything special for my skin. the only exception I've found is the baby facial which I tried once when I was visiting my family in the states and I saw immediate results but I was so sad when I found out we couldn't get it in Canada. the packaging also kind of annoys me because I love the pumps and the moisturiser pots but I like buying backups when im about 3/4 through a product I plan on repurchasing and the fact you can't tell how low you are just stresses me tf out.

    Hi Sari! Do you think you could do a video dedicated to eye creams? My under eye area gets super dry sometimes but I have no idea what to use. No youtubers I trust have done videos on the topic so I’d like to know which ones you recommend, what to look for, and how to use them properly! I got a sample of the Ole Henriksen banana bright eye creme and kind of liked it, but heard from a lot of people that it doesn’t actually do anything. Man... I mean, I'm glad a lot of this stuff works for people (it better, for the price) but all I can think about whenever I see anything about Drunk Elephant is, "Yeah, I can think of like 5 other brands that have something just as good for between 5 and 15 bucks, it's just not in the fancy packaging." Especially when you consider how absurd it is for them to be telling you that you need to combine products to get either of them to work properly, and but each of them is more than one of my monthly utilities. I just can't take that seriously. To be honest, the only thing in this entire line that's anything special is the sunscreen. Finding a sunscreen that is both mineral-based and silicone-free is an absolute needle in a haystack. And go figure it's one of their cheapest products.

    • @nadiaperez6289
      @nadiaperez6289 6 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Cat V drunk elephant is an honest and clean brand with ingredients that won’t harm your skin, most products between 5 and 15 dollars have fillers that will harm your skin, this does not! i’m not saying all other products are bad but it’s not as easy as it seems, make sure to read the all the ingredients ! :)

    • @missyp49
      @missyp49 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      You sound dumb. YEAH those "5 other brands that have something just as good for 5-15 bucks" ALSO have a BUNCH of other ingredients in their products that are super harmful to your face, pretty much even sometimes counteracting a good ingredient's effect. Drunk Elephant is expensive for a reason: it is the ONLY BRAND OUT THERE that formulates its products WITHOUT essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, chemical sunscreens, fragrances/dyes, and sodium lauryl sulfates (SLS). Do your research. I used Drunk Elephant for only a short while now and HOLY my skin has never been more clear, great, and youthful like EVER. You're probably just mad that you can't afford it. Don't listen to this comment y'all.

    I love you videos!! Just a couple tips: I wouldn’t use humectants on a plane because they will always bind moisture, wherever they can find it. Planes have like 0% humidity so humectants in your skincare will actually bind moisture from deeper layers of your skin and dry you out! Also, if you like chemical exfoliation, I use Burt’s bees 1% salicylic acid acne clarifying toner and it’s like $8 and has changed my skin!!
