and I thought the live synth rig on a big pedalboard was MY invention ;) The only thing I do differently is: I don't disconnect the gear from the pedalboard when I come back to the studio - I put the whole pedalboard on the studio table, leave everything connected and just add the usb cables for overbridge.
Great minds think alike ;) Yeah thats certainly neat :) Noot doable for me as it would be too high and affect my monitoring as well. I did research that exact PSU. It becomes a big hassle with joining cables to get the right power and then there aren't enough outputs for all the instruments so I'd need a second one. @@Davemech I was wondering if the dimensions would still work out, being that the 96 is a little bit bigger. My plan is to fit an OT, DN, MM, and MD on the pedalboard with the 96.
@@mindexpansionpuzzles best to check with measurements of the board. And keep in mind that cables are sticking out a bit. I think 96 might just be a tiny bit too large but best to measure and calculate to be sure :)
Do you still use your PX5 ? or have you changed it ?
I've always used xone:db4 mainly :). The PX5 was a lone unit that Xone send me to experiment with. It's already send back to them
@@Davemech How did you find the PX5 am thinking to buy that or the 96?

Everyone else on the internet: I wish they kept the sake box design for the Rytm and A4
Me: I wish the Octatrack was the same shape as the MK II’s
I don’t perform with my gear tough.
In the studio I also prefer the mkii
Great Video!!!
Good solution.
In case you dont need the MODEL1 anymore just send it to me ;-)
Keep up the Good Work.
Cheers
Thanks ☺️ if I ever trip over a second model 1 out of nowhere I'll give you a call ;)
Since you're already using a pedalboard you can actually power some elektron stuff with a pedalboard power supply. It would probably result a cleaner setup. th-cam.com/video/UKy-Ni5hBEE/w-d-xo.html (Check this out. Not associated.)
I did research that exact PSU. It becomes a big hassle with joining cables to get the right power and then there aren't enough outputs for all the instruments so I'd need a second one. I wish there was a real solid solution to this but with more than 3 instruments it becomes a big workaround and I really wouldn't like taking that risk so rather a bit more weight that 100% works. You can't see the power strip etc. Anyway:)
@@Davemech Fair enough!
I didn’t think porn was allowed on TH-cam
So far no strikes 🤷🏼♂️
