    Great approach - I love the short & sweet suggestion. I get too many emails in a day and I'm sure all of these folks do as well. I know you mentioned in previous video that you start with the brand. I assume most brands don't have a "buy now" or a shopping cart (and even if they do, it's probably retail pricing). So are you normally looking for a "contact us" page to get started? And anything different with your approach to a distributor vs a brand/manufacturer?

      do fill contact us form then email them after that make a call after one day

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  ปีที่แล้ว

      Correct the contact us page is the place I usually start with since most regular retail stores wanting to stock their products will use the same spot. If you have some sort of products you can check the back of the packaging for, that can help as well if their website is less than stellar.
      And currently nothing much different with a distributor except that most distributors will have a dedicated page for new retail partners to sign up with. If they don't, then I recommend a similar email that you could tailor to the products you know they are carrying

    Jimmy I love your channel - and learning from you. But dont you think it´s a bit more effective (not considering time) to call FIRST? Whats your take on that? Thanks a ton for your caring and work.

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's a good suggestion, I find it more efficient to email first as many people don't like to get on the phone. If you're comfortable on the phone, then start with that instead :-) thank you for loving the channel!

      @@AskJimmySmith real question (another one and thanks in advance...again). How important do you think it is to have a website well designed (institutional)? Thanks again and feel free to not answer lol

      @@pequenos-videos-para-inspirar If you're going to build a website, I would have it fairly well-designed. There are so many good website builders with Shopify or Wix or others that get the job done fairly easily. If you don't want to do it, you can always hire a VA to do it for you!

    Hey Jimmy
    What do you suggest regarding those living outside the US when you say in the email where you are located? Should we use our Business License address in the US for those of us who have no presence in the US?

    • @nomanali3089
      @nomanali3089 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      we use our business address like where we register LLC

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd probably say to give them your business license address and your warehouse address. If you want you can put that you're an out of the US company but you have warehouse locations in the US and use your prep center address for that.

    HI JIMMY, I have a question regarding my LLC company that is registered in Wyoming. I was wondering if it is necessary for me to provide a Wyoming resale certification or if I can provide a resale certificate from any state.

      Is it possible to conceal the fact that some brands do not permit resellers to sell on Amazon's platform when connecting with the brand, rather than just a retail store?

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wyoming would make the most sense since that's where your LLC is

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure why you would want to conceal anything, stay honest with the brands

    what if you only have a individual account and not a business account?

    • @AskJimmySmith
      @AskJimmySmith  ปีที่แล้ว

      On Amazon? You can still sell on Amazon with an individual account, but if you plan to be serious with the opportunity I highly recommend a business account
