The Madras High Court pulled up spiritual leader Jaggi Vasudev or Sadhguru of Isha Foundation and asked him why he was encouraging young women to live like hermits. A bench of Justices SM Subramaniam and V Sivagnanam posed the question for the Isha Foundation founder after S Kamaraj (69) a retired professor alleged that his two daughters had been "brainwashed" into permanently staying at the Isha Yoga Centre.

He doesn't talk sense at all. I think you don't have the full information regarding what happens inside all these ashrams. Also remember, somebody who is gathering money from all sides can never be a "guru".
People follow him so blindly and have elevated him to a status of adoration. In one of his quotes, he said "Jab shareer thakk jaata hai, to mann thakk jaata hai." People were reposting this and believing this also without even giving it a thought once. His own wife died by suicide, owing to which he got stuck into this case. This speaks a lot in itself.

High and supreme court judges pass "comments" on certain persons only. These judges have no qualms when they and their dear ones use their influence to get special vip darshan at temples, when other devotees wait in queue.

Isha yoga centre never forces anybody to become "sanyassha", it is their own personal decision, isha running many spiritual programs, sadhguru daughter married because of her own decision only, if the daughters of the complainant willing to leave isha they can leave, nobody stopping them.

I'm not an individual who practices his religious methodologies or is interested in his religious activities however as a fellow human being i see this man called Sadhguru being one of the highly educated individuals in the world today whose teachings and understanding seems quite rational and acceptable to the present generation besides he is incredibly intelligent and rich in wisdom who is very much capable of transforming humanity with a brighter vision so instead of judging him like he is kind of an evil please have some respect towards his services and contributions towards humankind because only an extraordinary person with a genuine goal could sustain in this kind of journey.

Sadhguru never forced anyone to be a hermit or non hermit. But people who are interested to be a hermit were accommodated by the persons own wish.

Im an isha follower from 2006, I have done all isha programs and many volunteering works, almost every year I go to isha coimbatore, they only ask people to volunteer based on their available time. Suppose 100 people come for an isha program, approx 20-30 people will give their names for other programs volunteering for some days...out of these 30, ~ 5-10 people will be applying for full time volunteering, In those 10 people only ~ 4 full time volunteers will apply for sanyasi or brahmachari... Isha has a process, only 1-2 will finally get selected for brahmachari...so not everyone can join brahmachari, it is a 3-4yrs process only deserving people i.e. < 2% people will get that opportunity..
