- It's time for another Carwow vs Bike World Drag Race, this time we've got them, we hope! The guys from TTS have lent us their amazing supercharged 370hp Suzuki Superbusa. To challenge us, Mat has a 3.5 Million pound Koenigsegg AGERA RST and the very quick Tesla Model S PLAID.
Check out our insurance partners, @Bemoto www.bemoto.uk/...

So! Chris will definitely be faster than me because he weighs about 40 lb less than me. Foot shifting with max power at the rev limit is a fine art. When Chris raced first time around he hit the limiter and it popped the headers off the head, unfortunately we didn't come prepared for this. Despite running many 1/4 miles and hitting the limiter before we have never had the problem. We have a Dragy datalogger, he did that 1/4 in 9.57/157mph with a 1.77 60'. My last run I did 9.26/163 with a 1.66 60' and a 2.57 0-60. The reason I was hanging off the bike was because of the side winds, trying to hang onto the bike with the front in the air, trying to keep in a straight line and shift on the money wasn't easy, peak power is a peak revs so super easy to hit the limiter. Check out TTS Performance channel to see that result. With a little practice Chris will go in the 8's I am sure and he will get the chance.
Great job, plus hats off for building a bike like that in the first place.
You did great! Ignore the armchair commenters who've probably never ridden anything beyond 50cc scooters lol
I don't have the balls so ride such bike full throttle trough the gears, my 1290 super duke is enough for me right now :)
Cool as f**f that Busa, a great build 👍
Mate you were hanging onto a boosted busa in side winds and still managed to put on a good show. I'd be more than happy with that.
It also showed that the bike has the legs on both of the cars because once it got into its stride it was reeling them in hard.
I do wonder why it decided to pop the manifolds off though. Maybe a larger exhaust is on the cards now its making that much power? It must be flowing a heck of a lot of air so any backfires are going to be a massive thump for it.
Its great to see someone still mad enough to be doing this too. In the 90's and early 2000's it seemed like everyone wanted a boosted bike. Now we seem to be few and far between.
Still ultra cool though.
I bet chris did much better times, the guy hit the limiter and stayed there for a while in all races
Matt said it at the end lol. I was typing while watching the last race
@@ercanyesiltas And look how the guy leaves his right foot hanging like a complete beginner. Why would he not put the foot back on the peg after the start 🤣
@@Sportwagenfreak1998 Apparently that's a thing alot of people do with drag racing on prepped surfaces, so there's probably a reason.
No idea what that reason is, though.
@athomasbom the reason is that any movement at that rate of acceleration can upset the chassis.
So the idea is that until you get past the initial launch you move as little as possible, control that wheelie and when the bike is settled and accelerating then you tuck in
@@axelfiraxa Yeah but imo he's way past the initial launch, like he's already shifting
That paint scheme on the SuperBusa...FANTASTIC !!
Absolutely agree.
Matt is THE LAST one who should complain about jumping starts..
Well done TTS Performance true beast this Busa
Nevermind the drag race itself, 2:45 - 3:05 is the real reason to get a bike
Matt has a bike licence, he had 400cc sports bikes back in the late 90's.
@@shadowred1980anyone can ride a 400cc
youd be surprised @@Smzxe
Regardless of the remainder I had to give this video a huge like at around 3:55 !!! Thank you Super Busa 😁
The Moore Mafia 600BHP Hyperbusa is what you need to race. I bet it would decimate everything
"Motorbikes kick ass"
bottom line 😂💪🏼
I'd always love to see a relatively stock tuned bike (tune with filter and full pipe) added on to these races... They still usually win compared to the cars and it's a better real world test/race
This Busa is really far from stock... It s a turbo Busa.
Except with a real drag racer, a standard hyper bike has no chance due to the gap at the start. Impossible to manage the power. And as you loose a lot of time if you don t have at least 300/350 HP, no hope to to catch up!!!
Amazing race bikeworld
Would have loved to see Chris on Busa in rolling races Vs Agera RS
Richard didnt do well in rolling races he was sleeping in Rolling race and he hit rev limiter too
Short shifted? Are you mad? Each time Richard had a run, you could hear it hitting the rev limiter! You can't short shift AND hit the limiter.
@@davidcolin6519 I meant he hit rev limiter multiple times in each race
Chris would have done much better in Rolling races
@@davidcolin6519 bike would have smoked both in rolling races if he started well
Chris got 9.5 and Richard got 9.7 so Chris was better at drag racing
this Sam is Gay, ev hater.
Agera lost in the drag racing despite having massive weight and horsepower advantage. What you want to say about that, ev hater??
Call me the contrarian here. I have a Plaid and a wickedly fast H2 Kawi. What I love about the Plaid is I can run low 9's all day long AND have a full warranty. My H2 will beat my Plaid if I can keep the front wheel down. If I get a perfect launch I'll be in the 8's on it. However get that perfect launch rarely happens on the street. So 95% of the time my Plaid will be quicker. The real fun though is I can throw 4 friends in the car and still take them on a 9 second run. Try doing that with your bike. I can then drive it back home, plug it in, and do absolutely nothing until ready to run it again.
I've been riding for over 40 years and as much as I love riding fast bikes and fast cars, the Plaid has just change the lens through which I view the world. The car never breaks down. It doesn't over heat. I can have the AC, listen to tunes, and run low 9's all day long. I can drive home, put the wife and kids in the car and go out to dinner or drive across country. I am just so used in the past to getting this level of performance I had to deal with a relatively fragile, or somewhat high maintenance vehicle without any warranty. Just a totally different paradigm. The Plaid has done to other fast cars what fast bikes have done to cars. I haven't found a stock motorcycle that can run with my Plaid on the street. Cool Busa though.
The Plaid is amazing. However, still, an Egg is an amazing piece of design and engineering. Speed isn't everything. It's the noise, feeling and experience. An EV of any kind will never replicate that. It's sad ICE will be no more.
Yawn
Sell your h2 since ur gay know 😂
That sound of the busa when you change a gear omg
Love the BUSA, but the Koenigsegg looks BONKERS.
Someone fly Chris Moore from the Carolinas out there with the 600 horsepower turbo Hyperbusa. He's done low 8-seconds with a stock wheelbase.
That supercharged Busa is a temperamental thing. Rev bogs. Hits the limiter. Misfires. Comon TTS.
he holds the world record. his turbo gsxr1000 road legal has 850 bhp. zero to 236 mph in under 6 seconds. he would wipe the floor with any road car let alone these things
Chris’s busa is a flame throwing animal.
@@isaachunt5799 Provided it was on a prepped surface.
I remember him saying a 60-130 roll happened in 1.3 seconds. Even 3000 HP sequential transmission 8.3L V10 Vipers can't do that.
Best video I’ve watched this year and I’m a YT addict.
2 things, 1-carwow jumped the 1st time and 2- that richard was hitting the limiter for like forever cause he wasn't looking at the clocks
I've seen plenty of "elbows out" action from motocross riders, but i think Yianni's the first person to use it in a car.
If he puffs his chest out any further he will turn into a budgie.
Wow! Massive respect for Tesla : A quiet reliable family hauler mopping the floor with the exotic supercar!!! But the bike remains undisputed king! Two wheels FTW!
$114,000 family hauler? You can buy a Demon 170 for $ 100,000, which will accelerate faster and feel better in corners and be cheaper and more beautiful
@@GorN_Rebel It might not be my pick but I have major respect for the guys at Dodge for this incredible machine. They understand their customers like few other brands!
@@GorN_RebelPut a demon on this surface and it will be lucky to run a 13 second 1/4😂, I'm pretty sure I could run down the track faster.
@@DuckHunterGaming Put Tesla on a winding road and it will be far behind
@@GorN_Rebel against a demon? I could beat a demon on my bicycle on a track 😂
There's no sense giving that bike that much power without lengthening the swingarm at least a little. You'll never be able to put down more torque than will make the bike wheelie, and to prevent that you have to put the mass farther in front of the back wheel. I'm not saying make it a full on drag bike, but it's not like it's going to be going around a circuit anyway, just go ahead and lengthen the swingarm 6 to 12 inches and put on a sticky back tire with a flatter profile for a larger contact patch.
Luckily they are maxing out power while staying in normal bike, usable in curves too and suitable for daily driving. Not some kind of dragster or american style bling-bling thing. And they have fantastic results.
As the owner of a turbo Busa I can tell you that it's all about how much you turn up the screw. I have a friend who's been tuning them for over twenty years who built an E85 burning turbo daily driver that dynos at 550 hp.
As the owner of a gen 3 unmolested Hayabusa I cannot imagine why anyone would turbocharge one. Insanely quick in stock form..
@@BibtheBoulder it really just depends on what you're used to I guess.
By the time I bought my Busa in 2001 I'd been riding and doing some drag racing of bikes for about 28 years. So the turbo was just another incremental way of increasing the fun factor. :) Where I live now there's no drag strip so she's become a garage queen.
@@Eric-Marsh Been watching Chris Moore over in the USA doing stuff to them quite frankly is insane. His sub six second turbo GXR 1000 bike is nuts also.
As you point out though, traction is an issue. Power is nothing without control. I would have a 200bhp V4 streetfighter to be honest. Rather than 400+ sitting in the garage. A lot of high powered bikes spend more time being "sorted" than ridden to be fair.
Chris Moore had a 600 HP (E85) turbo Hayabusa built with a tuning firm, total custom ECU and firmware, laser-read wheelie control, machined billet plenum, engine work, the whole nine yards, and stock wheelbase. And they promise a warranty. So far low 8 seconds on a prepped surface. Thing flies past 200 mph like a V8 sports car reaches 60 mph.
@@exothermal.sprocket Well he's obviously making the power. I was just surprised that he didn't walk those two cars. Traction problems perhaps?
Chris is a lucky devil, he gets to ride some epic bikes. My dream job 😊
These videos are awesome and there aren't a lot of youtube channels doing them.
More coming from us!
@BikeWorldTVshow Awesome I like the car vs bike videos they're awesome to watch.
The Busa can take a lot more tuning going all the way up to 600hp+ Incredible bike.
This quarter mile race, they should do 1 miles & u will see busa & agera smoke Tesla.
that was intense, i suppose that shows how torque starts and power finishes.
I am really not happy with that Rolling Race. There Should have been 2-3 Roll Races. With a perfect rolling start The bike should have been definitely Won the Half mile drag race.
yep they cut that section short, usually the rerun atleast once or twice
Dude, that's a Fockin Koenigsegg Agera RS,the fastest car in Earth formerly
@@LUCIFER-zeuz yes , I know, I said Bike is very capable of winning " HALF MILE" Race or atleast definitely keeping up with that car until on the half mile. as the both bike and car capable of reaching 200+ mph on the half mile. Look @ this rolling race , it's just imperfect. After the half mile, we all know what's going to happen 👍
I love hayabusas,really nice video
And what's up with hitting the limiter all the time.. ?
Plaid was a sensation when released, now it got attention and usually lighter and more powerful (more HP) cars are pitted against it. Case of Chiron to, nearly 500hp more and almost 200 kilos less. It needs a power upgrade, like a 200hp more output at least. I think with about 1250hp and improved launch control, would be really difficult to get beaten until 1/2 mile.
Chiron would destroy Agera RS in each races roll race too
Koenigseggs are extremely slow in real life even in rolling race plaid was ahead of it agera RS passed when Plaid hit 165 mph limiter
Plaid has done 1/2 mile in 14.8 seconds which is same as agera RS in Agera RS world record acceleration run
Chiron did 14.7 sec @193 mph on 1/2 mile Plaid is not far off
Plaid did beat Chiron on dragtimes channel 4/5 times in drag and rolling races both
Chiron Supersport however would absolutely wreck Tesla Plaid Chiron SS walks on plaid in Roll race or drag race
Now I know why Koenigsegg owners were scared to linup against Chiron on 1 mile airstrip
Chiron only raced 918 Spyder that day Chiron went walking

I'd like to see the superbusa do a perfect run..as I think rich hit the rev limiter a few times...maybe manual shiting to keep the headers from popping off again?
Actually I wasn’t surprised the Egg was last. A quarter mile is way too short to bring out the real power of that piece of art. Stretch the distance to 4-5 times a quarter of a mile and it would be a different story.
It seems that many people don't understand that not everyone puts 1/4 mile times first.
Koenigsegg aren't 1/4 mile drag cars. Simply too much power for 2wd to deal with off the line, and they don't care.
Now, put them on a mile race, vmax or rolling race over 1/2 mile and above, then you see what they're all about 👍
For The Bikes 👑
a good solid test, the pinnacle of motorbike tech vs the pinnacle of car tech, 1/2 mile test would of better for the bike with only one wheel to transfer its power through but a win is a win in my book.
Didn’t the koenisegg win the 1/2 in the car wow video they had a 1/2 mile race the koenisegg won
Awesome! I saw this superbusa at the BIke shed event a few weeks ago. Nice to what it can do! :O
So they swap riders to give a chance to the cars?! Thats nice😃
great vid! how does thss busa compare to the h2r ? next vid maybe ?
Guy onthe Suzuki always has the most fun every race though
AWESOME EPISODE
Both gas-powered Vehicles were hitting the rev limiter way too much causing them both to lose precious time.
Where was Chris for the carwow race 😢
the Busa rider is not tucked enough!!!! chin on the tank
He is an OAP!
He was complaining about Wind speed and he was rocking back and front when he tagged rev limiter little scared of hitting cars he was coming close to plaid tho
the busa hitting the limiter slowing him down
4:40 *Time to bring in Rossi on the Yamaha MotoGP bike !*

OMG that was good! Busa all the way baby!
Beautiful launches Chris!
Representative of why I switched from sporty cars to motorcycles.
In fact, lets do a couple of races between Chris and Lara.. :) Dragstrip and Track
Doing a flat-out launch like that, how many % gets sucked out of the Tesla battery? Could it do 10-15 runs like that in a row?
Matt looks like the schmo with them 😎 on
Since The Buss is on two wheels, it’s need 1-2 sec to stabilise unlike the 4 wheels..So it’s not jumping start..It’s fair drag race..
How did the rolling start go?
Cheers 🍺
Comparing Tesla times to real performance vehicles is like comparing a microwave to a bbq grill. It may cook faster, but nobody ever wished for a microwaved hamburger.
Yesss!!! Bikes kick a**
Richard hit the rev limiter in near all gears. Could’ve easily had a better time.
Check out TTS Performance video datalogged. 9.26/163mph hit the limiter on the second shift only.
@@TTSPerformance I could’ve done a better job from behind my keyboard 😎
The video editing replay runs the same rev-limiter scene over and over again.
Ok I’ve never ridden a tubo busa, just liter bikes and such, but that was not a clean run by the second rider. He bogged it bad on the start and honestly those shifts took long enough for me to walk away and pour a drink before he made it into the next gear which is wild because I know from experience bikes can shift very quickly if you know how even without a quick shifter even with using a bit of clutch
Wonder how a Lightning LS-218 would do? If you can get hold of one

Kind of shocked the egg lost so badly . But to be fair it's not a drag racer or awd and on a surface that I don't know is optimum to holeshot a car like that . Launching a bike that powerful without an extended swing arm and fat tire seems like it would be really difficult . I had a 120 Hp 100 Tq Suzuki GSF 1200 Bandit that was the fastest accelerating stock street bike¼ to date at the time running 0-60 in 2.9 and in the 10s and it felt so crazy fast I can't imagine how fast it feels on a 370 Hp bike . Its wild that with
you could hear the busa running rough at the end of the strip and the l;ook on his face when he turned it off said it all.
That is one sick bike..
Want that Busa Super to compete with Ninja’s H2r 😇
Now race that bike with the Rimac Nevera 🤣
There are bikes in Texas tuned to 600 hp . Yes, busa's tuned to 600 hp
The guy and the Busa needs to get his motorcycle license first before he goes and drag races them

They should put a fatter wheel on the byke and see if that helps even more.
