- In this video we show how to swap over the genuine screen plastics from the 10" PIVI screen to the genuine Land Rover Plastics for the larger 11.4" screen - these plastics form the physical mount for the larger screen. We will launch our own plastic bracket kit which will make this upgrade much easier.

Hello from Australia. Thanks again Simon and Destiny. Maybe it's just me, but I like the 10 inch screen as it's subtle and does what I want. Also, my dash is set up so that I have the information I need. I find some of these larger screens can be too distracting. The new Land Cruiser 300 series is an example for me. Thanks again. long time follower and I've bought a few of your products.
Destiny doing good job, the top panel should fit without any issues, just try to squeeze it in a bit with alignment.
You need cooding after that.

Interesting you managed to fit the top panel - it seems very tight. I think our conversion brackets will be a better job. We have now done the coding. Just waiting for the brackets and wiring looms to arrive.
I am faceing some alignment issues of top leather dash after screen upgrade can y mou explain how to align or squeeze

Love your videos Simon! I have a cool idea. I think I saw a variation that the center console had a cooling system or like a refrigerator in it. Anyway to modify one that is just regular without this feature? That would be a cool option to add.

Simon…my nerves about loose creaking and rattling bits afterwards are too great..I would have to buy the car with the big screen already fitted!! 😬😱😱😀😀😀😀

A certain other company that does up grades had a video on the screen up grades, and he mentioned they had to modify the top rail for the screen to fit. I believe they cut some away , it looked like a castellation when they finished.
I have seen LR retrofitters replacing the top bar so it’s definitely a different part on the big screen.
This is a nice upgrade, do you have a rough estimate of how much it would all cost inclusive? I've seen some retrofitters offering it (been shopping for a fridge upgrade) but it's quite expensive that way.
I was thinking a click & go umbrella holder might be nice - basically a long vertical stick optionally with some cup holder style buckets at the end, with some of those rubber stretchy straps so you can attach them without damaging the umbrella wires. It'd be dead easy, tip seat forward and there they are. Unfortunately while I have a 3d printer to mock something up, I have zero modelling skills. Annoying as I could sketch one in 15 minutes but my 3D skills are below creating a featureless cube.

Simon , just noticed you’ve got the Nano sim slot fitted to your car. This I mentioned in the comments of your Gap tool. Are you going to show a video of fitting this and using your own sim.
Drop an email via the website and i will talk to you offline about this. Basically i am worried that it will upset JLR if i push for the Esim transfer... I need you to try this...
LR retrofits do fit this, and have done for a long while, I do understand your concerns but I think they are going over the top with their renewal contracts. I used to have a Volvo and used a 3 data sim for 12 months , cheap as chips. I Understand you don’t want to upset LR , so if you want to leave it alone fare play.
I would like to ask if there is any wind noise when installing stairs? Which side can be improved to reduce the wind noise, thank you
I do not think the side ladder causes too much wind noise - the major issue is the roof rack.

I bought a defender carpathian edition from Germany I live in the Middle East and it's very hot in here in the summer and we must have remote start on every car for the cabin preconditioning,
After I connected the car app to my phone I was shocked that there is no option for cabin preconditioning in the app after digging about it turns out German imported cars have no remote start up to some law regulations,
Is there any way that I can enable that option?
I contacted a garage recently and they told me they'll do it for 1500$ which is an insane price for just enabling an option that is already in the car and it is disabled.
I have a V8 carpathian edition 2023.

In the comments someone says they just squashed it in place
Do you need also some kind of software ? Or is just plug & play ? Only hardware ?
To change screen you need
1 new screen
2 wiring conversion loom
3 new mount plastic
4 software coding
