Years ago (in the late 1980's, early 1990's) my Mom and stepdad came down from Massachusetts to do antique shows. They loaded up their Winnebago with antiques and hit a lot of Florida flea markets, like Oldsmar. They also did one near Melbourne/Cocoa. I don't remember if they did Mt. Dora. When we lived in Apopka we went to the Mt. Dora flea market often. They have a huge flea market on top of the hill and at the base of the hill was a large antique market. Once a month in early spring they had a lot of people set up outside the antique market and I loved browsing. I often found retro items from my childhood-lol! I used to collect old postcards of places I went to when I was growing up and that was a great place to find some.

I remember having that same Mickey toy when I was a kid. If I recall....it does talk to you when you pull the string. Also loved the Gundam Store 👍

Great video and awesome flea market. I remember going there many years ago. Being a born Hoosier, I know you remember the Liberty Bell flea market over on the east side of Indy. My favorite as a kid.

Cool day at the flea market and lots to see...appreciate you sharing your life adventures as well and how reverent you spoke of your dad. Lost my dad a few years back as well and was blessed to spend his last 7 years by his side giving back for all he had given all of us..my goal was to get him to 100 and we made that by more than a few months but they will be forever in our thoughts. Appreciate all you share and looking forward to your next adventures oh and what an added bonus to have Chris the girl along as well...Stay blessed and safe travels my friends😉

I bought a lock blade that looked like a switch blade there like in the 70s. I cut my finger wide open with it. Still have it today.

I'm from Tampa been to the flea market many times, used to like the wagon wheel flea market in St. Pete. I lived in town and country off Sheldon Rd. and I went to Jefferson high school.

So cool how the schools here you have choice. My youngest daughter is in a magnet school and will be in the law program at Jefferson near the West shore mall. The classrooms have little courtrooms in it. I love small schools. I love options too.

I've been going to the Oldsmar Flea Market since the late 1970's. My wife and I bought two tangerine trees there a few months ago.
Considering how big it is, and it's at a busy intersection between Tampa and Clearwater, I'm surprised developers haven't gobbled it up.
I have to drive down there and dig through some dvds. I'm addicted to searching for dvd finds and anything Donald Duck.
This flea market reminds me of the one up here (Waldo Flea Market) they had this big vat with boiled peanuts...my dad used to always get a bag of boiled peanuts for $1-$2.
I went to Grade School in Oldsmar for a couple years. Mid 70s 😎👍

You should try going to the big flea market in Webster , FL. Its only open on Mondays. If you go on a Monday holiday or in the winter it is gigantic.

Awesome! I remember when I first subscribed to you several years ago that it was a video on this very flea market. I think you got a couple Sega Genesis games and such. I love flea markets like this, especially in when I was a kid in Florida in the 80s digging through all the toys, games, trading cards, and such.

This was an awesome tour of the Oldsmar flea market. I have got to get down to Tampa if for no other reason to check out the flea market and a couple of my favorite places to eat. Also, I want to wish Chris a very Happy Birthday! You don't look a day over 21.

Lots of nice games & consoles. Those bikes, the first girl tank bike was from the 60's. The boys bike with a tank I never seen one before & I have seen plenty of recreations. Nice models. I am into science fiction ships & car model kits. Not good as any of those people who the ones in the video.
Soon as I saw "Flea Market, I knew it was Oldsmar. Though it could have been Webster. Sadly Big Top closed down awhile back.
I bought Nietzsche’s Twilight of the Idols at this flea market many years ago.
Our son and his girlfriend literally moved there over the weekend only 4 minutes down the road from the flea market. We helped them and thought the entire area was as nice as it could be! Bradenton has a flea market like this called The Red Barn
As a vendor, Wagon Wheel was overall the best. Sadly, now closed according to their site. Oldsmar retro? Not sure didn't spend any time there when I lived in TB. When I get down there will check it out.
And the Sanford Market was amazing; even had a wholesale area.

I miss wagon wheel went there many of times. Big top was also very retro. There are tons of games and collectibles, and toys. I guess it depends on what a person considers retro! As for anything, opinions will vary.
